  1. Maybe it saw the approaching Zed and decided to kiss it's @rse goodbye...
  2. Sorry for off topic, but I dunno if you've seen the film "Ip Man" with Donnie Yen, i thought it was a good film and Donnie does Wing Chun great justice (I'm sure a martial artist can prolly pick out some technical flaws, but one has to remember that this is martial arts for the screen), his hand speed is brilliant in some scenes. Film was released in Asia in 2008, I think the film is getting a release over here later this year.
  3. If you bought the Netgear, then you don't really need your firewall on your PC. The router should have a double firewall anyway. I have no firewall on my PC and have yet to receive any odd bits of software, nor has my bank account been hacked and emptied, lol When I setup my Netgear, I didn't even bother with the CD that came with it, just logged into the default IP 192.168.0.1 and set it up from there.
  4. Have you enabeled UPnP on the router?
  5. Not wanting to sound an arse, but is it possible that your son and the seller both have Civic Type R's, but different shapes? Maybe there was some miscommunication somewhere. My advice is, that once this is done with to never touch eBay again, lol
  6. That lip isn't fragile....IT'S CARBON FIBRE!!!!!!
  7. Love the flower on the helmet tho...
  8. Bought the mag for reading on my night shift just gone. Grats Andy for making the cover, very nice photos and write up. Pleased to see that all the thanks went towards the right people too Irfan, your car is in the Santa Pod bit on page 133, caption reads:" Tidy looking 350Z was one of the many well-tuned cars"
  9. Right...at the risk of sounding a total idiot....what does the abreviation "PCD" mean? Last time I checked there wasn't a Pussycat Doll on or in my car...
  10. ROFL, I first thought this was going to be a thread about a kid swallowing a toy Zed....
  11. Rubbish, there are 2 reasons they are so cheap: 1. They sell millions of these so can buy in bulk where as a tuning garage only gets a few customers a week 2. The designer obviously has a love for cars and is helping out the people who feel the same by not giving it a ridiculous RRP tag. As givememorepower says, he has 4 and is running over 400whp!!!!!! I bet its not too good on fuel but the figures are the proof! My funds can only stretch to one at the minute but I'll get my car dynoed and show you. Only problem is I have added a roof scoop and sideskirts since then so you'll have to take off the 15bhp that they have added off my final result. Well, I actually disagree. I'll have to admit now that I did buy a few of these in the hopes I would reach the magic 1000whp. Plans were good to start with and with the principle of double-up-fo-mo, I went from two to four, from four to eight, from eight to 16 and so forth. All this was done within a day because I bought them in bulk, 100 units for the price of 99, so it was deffo worth it. Sadly by the time I hooked up 64 units in a row, the OEM ECU started adapting and through a freak occurence triggered a transduced ion flow in the nanomatrix of the vulvic labia-meter, which as you expect caused a negative thrust value. I ended up finding myself with 758 negative whp and couldn't drive forwards at all. I had to go everywhere in reverse. Because of that I have become weary of these products, as I accidentally ran over a flock off sheep in reverse (we all know that the view out the rear of a Zed is quite limited) I'd rather stick to the proven turbine BHP boosters you stick in your intake pipes.
  12. Well, she didn't help the blonde sterotype much did she?
  13. Ow c'mon...common sense should be applied at these things. For £25 they offer "miraculous" results, yet tuning garages take time and money to achieve real results. If these gadgets actually worked, then alot of businesses would be out of business...
  14. How about this one? It's black and within budget... http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showprodu ... ubcat=1454 *edit* ooops, wrong one.... this one... http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showprodu ... ubcat=1456 or this one... http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showprodu ... =NW-143-NG
  15. That's a modem for Cable (Virgin Media and the like), not Broadband (BT and the like)
  16. Well most routers have vents for the heat to escape, but usually they don't have fans built into them. If you can, either get a can of compressed air (or air duster as they are also called) and blow through the unit. You'll be suprised how much dust these things can suck up. I took my Playstation 3 to my local garage and used their airline with a blowgun and did exactly that. the main mechanic and I were amazed at how much dust came flying out
  17. WOW! It's like two different cars! Great work
  18. I originally had a Thompson item from way back when BT first started Broadband, and it was utter rubbish. I have since been using Netgear Routers with no issues at all. Just keep the firmware up to date and you should be fine. Currently using a Netgear DG834N, which I reboot regularly once a week.
  19. He's a badge snob - always will be Well, if you cast your mind back to last season when they raced the bullettrain aginst the GTR, Clarkson did like the Nissan... Best quote of the night for me was "It makes your arse go like a rabbits nose..." (Brian Johnson on the central accel position of the Bentley)
  20. Rich, remember there is a pro detailer living two streets away from you
  21. Will there be a distinction between those using machine polishers and those who don't? The ones who don't machine polish may not be able to match the finish that machine polishers can achieve.
  22. No worries Mark Remember the family that came out of Bluewater and the little boy wanted to take a pic?
  23. I wonder if anybody is gonna go off-road, just to get the car dirty, lol
  24. DMS quoted 3-4 hours work for a P3
  25. All the best and take care. Here's my cheesy contribution, lol
