Wonder where he stands technically if he has his own F1 car and just so happens to do a track day at Maranello? Excatly...you don't have a dream job at Ferrari without any perks, right? Dont know what the official rules are around testing, but could they not just use last years car for training? Then its not testing of the car, but good enough to get his feel back. Bottom line is, he's a sly old dog with quite a few tricks up his sleeves. And if all else fails...

The obvious answer is that the van is jealous of the Zed and thought to itself "Right, I'm gonna show him!" and proceeded to rev like mad, but unfortunately broke itself doing so. Moral of the story: Jealousy gets you nowhere and leaves you brokenhearted...

Is there perhaps a Motorsport garage in your area that can help with suspension setup/faults that have also worked on a Zed before? Perhaps they would be better for professional impartial advice? Just an idea.

Welcome and enjoy. For anybody else, for you info about imported Zeds, it's worth reading the issue of Redline that's currently out. Not only has it got bundus Zed in it, but also the latest tips for buying an imported car from Japan. Laws have changed recently and there are some pretty tasty cars to be had imo.

Go for the same colours as before, but for a twist ask them to shoot the lacquer with some metallic flake in it, so it pops more when the sun hits it (I mean sunlight, not the actual sun, cos if the actual sun would hit, we'd all go 'pop' with it)
