Right, first off, I'm asking for a friend who has just bought a JDM Honda Civic Type-R (EP3). It came with a Panasonic double din touchscreen headunit and of course everything is in japanese, not a problem tho so far. My mate managed to figure out how to play CD's and also is trying to get the HDD audio source thing to work, but the one thing he cannot get to work is the radio. I told him that he needs a frequency expander in order to receive the UK radio stations. Now my question is where would one get one from and can it be used with this kind of headunit? Is install fairly straight forward? Thanks for anybody that has advice on this. Bullet

Jeez, all this after I ask a simple question. If I had known this was such a sore subject, I wouldn't have bothered to be honest. I'm new around here and do not know of the events that occured in the past. Both sides seem to have their reasons, but I don't feel I need to pledge my "loyalty" to either. I think many newbies like myself just enjoy a good show, nice weather and them bikini models. On the day, the last thing on your mind are inter-forum politics, because you are having a great time regardless of the company.

From my point of view I find this a bit unfair. I dont "decide" to give the club a wide berth, it's just the way things turned out for me. When the Wales Run came up, I was there. When Modified Live @ Brands Hatch came up, I was on the other Group, but purely because I saw a list appear there first. And during the event I went over to say hello and stuff, like you do. Same again now, but I would like to see the cars together, because that's why I go to shows. I'm sure that for the event organizers it's easier to sort one pitch rather than two. Call me ignorant and/or arrogant, but I have no time to wonder who's toes I'll be stepping on because I chose to be on "their" stand, it's not a popularity contest. We are a group of people who have something in common, and in this case it's our cars. Just get together and enjoy it.
