  1. Would be an idea to also post up a post code so people can plan how far they need to drive.
  2. Love those rolling shots Louis done in Wales, gutted I was at the back of the pack....but then again, I didn't have my Volks yet so it's ok...
  3. If you do that then I'll come round at night and draw over it with a black marker. It will look @*!# with White lettering on the tyres
  4. I'm on 47K...but Ray takes some beating I guess, he bought his in December last year with 32K on the clock, now showing high 49K
  5. It's a non-contest, because Schumi didn't even start a race, it means there is no knowing whether he would win a or lose a race.
  6. Thank you for the compliment. P3 first, then the brakes.....or even both together depending what I go for.
  7. My first meet, apart from the Envy Mod Days, was the Wales Run, which even got a bit of press recognition. Was great and after the initiation, you'll be fine.....sore arse tho...
  8. ROFL! If nobody is making a comment about BMW drivers and them meeting in Gaydon...
  9. Nah, not reffering to the matter of active or not, just that the replys that were posted on the first page seemed to convey an attitude of "Us vs. Them", which made me sigh and think of how silly it all seems. I understand that you guys are looking to keep the site running, which is commendable. I don't know how many actually use the "Donate" button, but it might be worth mentioning from time to time that it exists and that any contribution no matter how small or big helps the community a great deal. It's easy to let personal emotion take hold, but as mods and admins it's sometimes more beneficial to put personal feelings aside and think of the community as a whole. I've experienced this kind of thing first hand and understand how forum splits can turn out. On my iPhone at work btw and this took ages to type... *phew*
  10. At least I'm getting mature replies from Rob and Martin, thank you. We are all individuals in the end and as such we'd like the freedom to choose without being given the evil eye. Sorry if I don't conform to a "Flags-In-The-Ground" attitude.
  11. I've done it so much, I think that's why the inners on the front are showing signs of rust...
  12. And take them bungs out while your at it......ya big sissy
  13. Might save on import tax, but are you willing to pay the excess baggage charge? Prolly be cheaper to pay the tax....
  14. Well with it being an american product, you'd expect it to be cheaper in the US...add all the so called taxes and crap the UK gov'ment put on top and there you have the rip off price...
  15. If you mean this one, then it looks like a Nismo front bumper
  16. I don't think I'll go for a full Dixcel setup, as I don't track the car at all, so going Dixcel may be overkill for day to day usage Dixon commented that the Goodridge lines use steel fittings that will corrode over time, whereas the HEL ones use stainless fittings that won't. He's the pro, not me, so I can only go by what Dixon says and I suppose he should know his stuff.
  17. Quite awhile ago, I bought a set of HEL Lines from CS, but never got around to have them fitted. On Saturday (8th Aug 2009), SilentKK8 had a P3 service booked in at DMS Racing and I went along to check them out. The P3 was done and Raymond (SilentKK8) was pleased with the result. I had asked Dixon whether they were busy today and if it wasn't too cheeky to ask to have my lines fitted. Sure enough Dixon was more than happy to help, as long as there wasn't any problems during Rays service. On the lift Old OEM lines Old OEM lines in their new home....the bin New HEL lines in place HEL didn't supply enough brackets But never fear Extra brackets in place I am well pleased with the extra sharpness my brakes now have and wonder why I didn't fit them sooner. Did notice that the insides of my front discs a wearing and need replacement soon, so watch this space. Finally thanks to Dixon and his crew, Dixon is the friendliest guy you'll meet. So much so, that after I got home and thought about it, he reminded me of Han in F&F:Tokyo Drift, just super chilled and relaxed.
  18. Did you update any Firewall software on the laptop, may be an issue. Was the access password changed recently? Was there someone parked outside your house illegally using your wireless network perhaps?
  19. If you can, replace the BT HomeHub with a better router. Failing that, unplug from mains from time to time, if it's on permanently, then it does tend to get warm.
  20. Perhaps all the detailers on this forum are currently outside Jays house, jumping up and down shouting "ME! ME! ME! ME! ME! ME! ME! ME! ME! ME!"
  21. Yes, but remeber that's the silly american date, which reads November 10th 2009 FFUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was gonna book it off too - i thought it was the week after my birthday. Crap.
