For me, I adjusted the seat so that my wrists are comfortably resting on the wheel at the 10-2 position. Works for me anyways.

Good decision It would have been heartbreaking to have invested so much time and love into your Zed only to see it drive off your driveway for good. Especially one as individual as yours.

actually, I just had a thought about my idea... Seeing that the dipstick is already a fairly thin piece of material, would deepening the grooves cause the tip of the dipstick to snap off if the engine is running and the oil gets hot? Don't really fancy finding out the hard way...

Has anybody thought of taking a Dremel to the hatched area? To deepen the grooves a little more so the oil can cling to it better?
