I got HEL lines on mine (thanks CS) and after talking to Dixon at DMS (who is also a HEL dealer) I was told that the HEL lines are better than Goodridge because the hose finishers on Goodridge lines are steel as opposed to the HEL lines that have stainless steel finishers. In the long run the steel ones will corrode and fail.

Would baking it in the oven helped at all?

Nice one Martin. If I read andymc's thread correctly, what Mark did was correct the thottle from 85% to 100%. I'm guessing that from the factory the throttle only opens 85% as a safety margin.

Yeah, remember the "Gator-Grip" the socket that could remove all sorts of nuts and broken nuts too. They were for sale for like £9.99 from shopping channels, until they must have realized what else could be done with them. Haven't seen them on sale for a couple of years tho...

But remember that Pimm has the 5Zigen wheels, which have a different offset than the Rays, and with the 5Zigen wheels fitting flush in the arches and not needing spacers, the lugnut holes may be deeper than on the Rays. Best get someone with Rays that has those nuts to post pics up, to see how far they stick out.

Did actually look at the nuts and on the pics from the rear straight on there are actually 5 nuts in view on the left side. I agree on the comment that they may have been non-standard wheels, as the exhaust looks like an aftermarket item also...

It's great to see the speculations flying about, lol I have bought a set of 5Zigen Titanium nuts from Envy when I bought my wheels. - Yes, they are sold as a set of 20 nuts - Yes, there are 16 regular nuts and 4 locking nuts - Yes, the key is included and will fit the regular aswell as the locking nuts - No, the price is not for just 5 nuts - Yes, I have put leccy tape around my socket to protect my wheels, and also I know that my local tyre fitters actually use a plastic sleeve on their socket to prevent damage too.

I thought that with 16 individual units, it would be a more cooler and crisper sound, but the components overheat quickly and start to melt....

Now perhaps an in-line signal booster is needed... Oh, and to be sure, just double check your grounding wires

I thought the main speaker cables run thru the ISO plug anyways and the RCA's are for additional speakers? for speakers attached to amps and the such, hence RCA's that can then plug straight into amps... Just guessing, because the last time I fitted a Pioneer was about 6 years ago on my Honda, lol (was one of the first to have OLED display tho, hehe)
