  1. Either that or the dent in the lip came from the wheel falling on his head...
  2. Cr@p....I'm too fat..... GLWTS, stunning seats (mainly due to the CF)
  3. for some reason, I've noticed that the inside pad wears faster in some cases, which is prolly the one making the noise, and once you apply the brakes and both pads bite onto the disc, the squeal goes away. Just my guess tho, I'm not a mechanic
  4. Or get a Pioneer AVIC-F900BT, hehe Outgoing model right now, so should be cheap to pick up, current online prices around £550. If you are computer savvy, then you could avoid the ridiculous prices Pioneer charge for map upgrades and do them yourself (Pioneer charge £150 for upgrade) For your money you get a CD-Tuner with sat-nav and iPod & SD card connectivity, option to add a reversing camera, Bluetooth handsfree connectivity, which allows you to transfer your mobiles phonebook to the unit too. I got one and am more than happy with it
  5. All installed and running perfectly, got the facia this morning and got busy straight away. First install: Boot Screen: Original Interface: With new facia. There was a gap at the bottom, but I cunningly used the facia surround that came with the Pioneer in the box and cut the top part off and put it in place to cover the gap somewhat. Not perfect, but good enough for me New Firmware 3.0 and modded theme installed
  6. for the F900BT, you need to be able to press the reset, eject, menu and map buttons all at the same time to initiate. Looking at yours, I'm guessing the procedure is most likely to be different.
  7. Again I would like to say a big big thanks to Dave for helping me with the updates. He basically gave me instructions on how to do it and I just bit the bullet and did it. Thanks again Dave
  8. Just done mine and it's superb! Didn't do the themes tho, maybe later when I get bored with the default theme... Big thanks go out to Dave who taught me how to do it.
  9. 1 blackra1n is the best ever. Used QuickPwn before and thought that was easy...
  10. Or if using Cydia, add Steffwiz Repository. Then from his repo install "All Sources", which basically adds all repos there are. Then you can get complete soundpacks. Personally I am running the Portal soundpack, uses the sounds of the security turret from the Portal game.
  11. Looks like I'll be placing an order with InCarTec Direct rather than Sextons...got the 007 steering control lead... Someone needs to let Sextons know about the issue.
  12. Yeah, ended up doing excatly that. One other thing tho, Sextons didn't send me the ICT fasia, but an Autoleads one instead. And it's the wrong one, but can't be arsed to send it back. Got the Autoleads FP-22-03, with is a single DIN with a pocket below to fill the double DIN slot. Prolly phone the order instead of online, just to make sure I get the right thing. Might have to take it apart again for fitting the facia and might also connect up the steering wheel controls too, because the instructions that cane with it mention an orange/silver lead, which I cannot find. Could someone post a pic of the wires they tapped into for the steering wheel controls? Much appreciated.
  13. Good news: all wired up and works great Bad news: where the hell do you stuff all the cables?
  14. At least he could have gone for the reverse Time Attack Style and put a black stripe on the lip, lol
  15. Nurrish's Zed story is like the tides of the sea, but with "WIN!" and "FAIL!".... ...this one could be marked up as "FAIL!"
  16. In comparison, I have spoken to local Raccoon Centre and was quoted a rough figure of £150 or thereabouts for vinyl wrapping the roof. So compared to a sprayjob costing £180....prolly go for a sprayjob as the finish will be better
  17. Prolly incase they loose suction and end up in the car behind...
  18. Some owners experience the gearbox noise after a lightened flywheel and uprated clutch upgrade. If your clutch pedal feels reasonably light, then that means that the upgrade has been done by a previous owner. When I had my P3 done at DMS, we decided to change the gear oil and diff oil. I have no noise on my gearbox. hope this helps
  19. I had the tape spit when I did mt ghetto mod, but it setteled down, thus I didn't thought is was worth mentioning. It usually helps if some thing is playing on the tape adapter, because it seems to know if any music is played or not, hence if there is no audio on either side, it goes into tape puke mode
  20. well you do get 4 bits but I can't see how they get to 50 quid apiece for a bit of machined ally and 5 bolts I decided against spacers altogether..... but then spent lots more on a set of wheels instead
  21. As far as I know, it increases the sound level due to some Pioneer and Alpine units suffering from reduced volume after being installed.
  22. Pics of overall condition, onlt damage is to the Map button, otherwise, it's mint
