  1. Nope, not according to me, but according to EBC themselves. Mechanics at Autofit Ipswich were told by EBC not to fit Yellowstuff to any thing other than a plain disc.
  2. See if next time he can actually do a minitaure footy pitch style, with circles from the middle, haha
  3. Pop the wheel off and then look at the front of the caliper (providing they are Brembos)
  4. Aren't you supposed to attach the bleeding kit onto the bleed nipple on the caliper itself? Remember that if you got Brembos, you got two nipples on the fronts, inner and outer. Yes....I said nipples...now grow up...... Well maybe not, lol
  5. Meh, only realized it is a 3 -4 hour drive away from me.... Mind you, if I started talking about waterblocks and the all time classic design of the Lian Li V2000, I won't get blank faces staring back at me, lol
  6. The amount of money I've spent with OcUK over the years.....and I didn't know about this, lol
  7. Did they forget to reattach the clutch line? You know, the one that HEL make a version of......
  8. It's worrying that Greekman has actually gone thru the whole dilemma of destroying brakes like a serial killer and then says:
  9. And they're the only 4 patches that keep you on the road........ They will be worth it! Indeed, try not to skimp on the black stuff. £488 I hear you say....wish I could get tyres that cheap for my 19"s........all a matter of perspective...you see?
  10. For what EcoPower are charging, you could go to Abbey Motorsport and have the reflash done. Not only is the map tailored to the 350Z specifically, it will also be run on a dyno to check whether it's accepted the new map or not. Depends where you are geogrphically to make it a viable option
  11. Looks like they just dump new maps onto the ECU without using a dyno to check if any gains are actually held. And what puts me off them is the fact that they say "Once re-flashed, we have no access to the vehicle without the express permission of the owner", which tells me basically that if you want them to touch it again, you'll have to pay them again.
  12. Ok, who actually told you that this would fit, because it clearly is incompatible with the existing loom in the 350Z. Also I'm guessing that the blue socket on the Connect is for the GPS antenna, was a GPS antenna included with the unit? If you can, then take it back and ask for a refund.
  13. I'm still wondering who this "somebody" is that is claiming to be able to superchip your car...
  14. Well comparing an interior rip-out and refit for about £4K or going aftermarket, I'd know what I'd do...
  15. engine management light = perhaps worth doing an ECU reset and see what happens bad smell when accelerate = did they do any mods under the bonnet? perhaps they messed up, say like and induction kit and forgot to attach the hose that is under the induction pipe cracked carbon bonnet (that i bought it myself) = perhaps someone has a OEM bonnet going for cheap traction control broken = perhaps the 20"s have the wrong size tyres on and are causing the TC to trip out the whole sound system doesnt work = is it still standard stereo or aftermarket? if they fitted aftermarket they may have fitted to a previous Bose system and forgotten that it isn't just a straight HU swap over Just my thoughts
  16. She'll prolly change the locks before you get home, cos if you drive with baffles out, she'll hear you coming miles away, lol
  17. There is indeed - the East Anglia meet on April 24th viewtopic.php?f=91&t=33842 Not exactly local to her is it? Perhaps the Bluewater meet would be a better idea, seeing as she isn't far from the M25. And possibly when Envy South do another Mod Day, that might be another good place to chat and prod under the bonnet.
  18. I'd move the numberplate for starters, or get smaller one that's legal. Then perhaps you should get yourself to one of our meets, I'm sure that there is a meet you could go to locally with members off here, then they could all have a little poke around the car and see what we can figure out. That may give a better idea of what's right with the car and what's not and possibly give an indication of what the expense would be to sort it. I mean c'mon, we always pride ourselves as one of the most helpful forums going, so maybe it's time we proved it.
  19. Max Power seems to be BPFP....By Pikeys, For Pikeys. Can't believe that they would deem the car suitable for driving. I know...how about we go to the scrap yard, pull a decent looking wreck out and give it a little spit and polish and put it up as a prize, anything we can't fix, we'll just cover up. Oh, looks like Max Power beat me to that idea. (And if Max Power is reading this and wanna do me for slander, then go ahead, this is a public forum and I have stated my opinion, whether you like it or not, free country after all)
  20. If you are struggeling for space, then disconnect the white A/C control box at the back, three connectors, and take it out. guide the cables and whatnot to the space under the white box and you should be ok [/url]
  21. I used two of these to boost the volume on my Pioneer, one for the front speakers and one for the rears. ICT Product Code 23-007
  22. Congrats, and glad you got rid of that awful Max Power sticker on the bonnet
  23. If it helps, this is my car on 19"'s on standard suspension
