  1. looking forward to the matches when everybody and their dog are in the pubs watching........ gives me some empty streets to drive on, hehe
  2. +1 They should know that any car fitted with a limited slip diff (LSD) should be brake tested on the real roads, not on the rollers. Basic knowledge any MOT tester should know. I'd go back and tell them that they messed up and if they didn't put it right, they would hear from your solicitors and trading standards.
  3. Maybe he was trying to escape from the charity police, because he stole a bunch of donation jars from various shops
  4. I did this with mine to bring the left side down a little bit (which also stops the exhaust from touching the bumper)
  5. That will come in handy if we should ever go out on the town and I get drunk, then you'll be able to tell the taxi where to take me
  6. If only I had £500 laying about, I'd come pick it up in person...
  7. saves me searching, thanks +1 and add fine wirewool too. It will not scratch and will remove stubbon bits like tar. And don't be a baffeled pu$$y, stay loud and proud....just like me
  8. Or even worse scratch marks due to "intimate" piercings...
  9. If Rich gets an S2K, then I'll start making a return to posting gay pics of him again on a regular basis...
  10. I got a$$ prints on each wing...
  11. Thanks for the advice ... I think I may be in luck though as I just tried to turn the Gear knob by hand this morning while stuck in traffic and it turns fairly easily ... I think Nissan must have removed it previously when the clutch was being replaced ... Now I've got to wait until next week sometime to get the bits fitted as I have my brother's wedding this weekend ... which means no time for the Zed this week ... apart from a quick wash before the wedding day You could get your knob out at your brothers wedding!
  12. It is actually straight forward, you just have to be careful, that's all. There is a little threadlock on the shaft to hold the knob in place, thus the need for molegrips in cases. And hence the need to keep the shaft from twisting, which could damge your syncro-mesh. In most cases, you will destroy the OEM knob in the process.
  13. Yes, and Sarah should still have the odd off cut of garden hose still lying around in the garage, which we used to put around the shaft, so to protect it from scratches and provide better grip with the molegrips we used
  14. How about this: You own the car outright as you have bought it cash, so why not declare it SORN for the time being and store it until times get better. And get a sh1tbox for the time being, that way you won't give up your Zed and have something to look forward to once your finances recover. It will motivate you everytime when you see the Zed in storage to find ways of saving money and/or finding ways to make money. Not a quick fix I know. Just a suggestion
  15. But you don't get yolk and white wrapped in pastry when you ask for an egg roll. What about a Spring Roll?
  16. +1 on that, attempted to do mine and felt that the nut was gonna round, so left it till I visited Dixon at DMS with my mate and his crew did it for me instead. Didn't want to leave the Zed stranded in my drive without brakes...
  17. Edited the vote with more options, so cast away...
  18. Just some alternate thinking from my watercooling setup on my PC, but couldn't you heat up the hose ends a little and then pop it over the barb on the catchcan? That way it would be a nice snug fit, with the jubilee clip to reinforce the grip.
  19. And nobody noticed that the whole rear light is different from pic 3 to pic 4? Gone from OEM to those horrible blister things...
  20. Currently sat at Japfest debating the correct term. Is it : -Bacon Roll -Bacon Cob -Bacon Butty Please discuss
