  1. Just may 2p's worth, but the discussion about weight is IMO totally bogus. Either you are building a car with comforts or you are building a car for the track, you cannot have both. I know that I will only do some occasional spirited driving and will mostly be a shows for the "let people look at the car" kind of thing. So I won't be worrying too much about the weight.
  2. sure? If the rolling raduis is the same overall, then it should fit. I do the same trek to the tyre fitters when switch over to the Rays for the winter. One 19" Volk on the passenger and one in the boot. Two trips total...
  3. Well, I am going from the logical perspective that since he is fitting a Pioneer HU, he'll probably use an aftermarket adapter loom to wire it in. all he needs to do is follow the srobrien pioneer install thread and Bob's your mothers brother... viewtopic.php?f=27&t=19787
  4. Fail, you could have put one on passenger and one in the boot..... Looking gorgeous mate
  5. Just connect the handbrake signal cable to the ground wire on the adapter loom (read cut end off, cut ground wire and solder everything together)
  6. I was gonna say that....being chinese and all..... Great update Paul, looking forward to the finished result
  7. Looking at Powerhouse Amuse own website it's 239,400 Yen http://www.webamuse.co.jp/new/products/r1_progress.html Quick look at xe.com for exchange rates....... Live rates at 2010.08.02 00:02:00 UTC 239,400.00 JPY = 1,761.20 GBP 1 JPY = 0.00735673 GBP 1 GBP = 135.930 JPY Then add shipping and import duty and you should be in at over £2000
  8. Actually Marshalls have a good reputation with us, one of the few dealers that are worth going to. Just push for the minor things like clips and stuff to be mended before accepting the keys.
  9. I am located in Suffolk, which dealer did you go to? Might pop down and give it a critical eye.
  10. Well, at Nengun the Amuse goes for £2796 new..... http://www.nengun.com/amuse/rs-silent
  11. No, it' saddy a very cheap copy of the Amuse Titan exhaust, which is also very dangerous because it can explode and take the whole rear of the car apart. I got a JapSpeed K1 laying around which I can swap you for.... Ok, it is indeed an Amuse Titan, jammy git
  12. Think you might be missing the point mate. It does'nt matter wether it's a red, white or blue LED or normal bulb it's still just a light source shining through a red plastic defuser. The post 06 LED is a different design with multiple single LEDs hense face lift and looks pretty. Just wait till you can afford the new clusters.I did because I think they look good. We all within a week of being on this forum WANT....New Lights, spacers, new burger badges, wheel badges, interior LEDs etc, etc. Oh and a stubby. Slowly slowly catchy monkey................unless you are loaded.. I'm not so it just takes time. Chris I avoided the interior LED's, badges and spacers......fell victim to the CF bug instead, lol I got got the LED's badges, spacers, exhaust AND CF But then again, instead of the spacers, I got wheels with a nice offset instead......

  14. martin ain't been moonlighting in the US has he?
  15. Big thank you goes out to Craig, who sent my bits superquick and very very well packaged. Delivery guy said "Is that a flexible shovel?" Thanks again Craig and looking forward to your next build
  16. Defiled & Ragged? Something a chav might do? Obviously a chav that has come into some money and then spends it on buying a zed and adding all the chavtastic stickers all over the car even if the stickers have nothing to do with the car at all and then ragging the hell out of it everywhere he goes.
  17. Big thanks you to Muddy for sending out my bits so quickly. Stuff was packed really well and arrived with no damage.
  18. Prolly got the electric supercharger...
  19. Maybe it's worth to try and sell the RSW kit with OEM parts in exchange, that way if it's a pig to remove, you'll have an alternative way of selling
  20. Or you could go to the kitchen, grab a roll of tin foil, some spray adhesive and make your own "chrome" splash guards....
  21. and the Strosek mounts on top of the OEM Spoiler...
  22. Give "Sarah" a call first....you never know, lol As for the phonebook itself, might be worth checking the actual 350Z owners manual
  23. I'd keep tje luggage in tje car for traction on the snow...
  24. Have a local garage stock up on studded rally tyres in your size Driving my Z back from Germany last December was a mare and a half as I spent 17 hours in the car due to the heavy snow (RWD + snow = slow progress + other idiots making tailbacks of a few miles to get stuck in) Best just hitch the lift in the back and invest in a carcharger for the iPod. Save the driving trip for the summer and visit the Nürburgring
  25. 1) Is there anyway of speeding it up bar upgrading? Accessing the internet and some of the menus seems to take at age at times..... Rebooting regularly seems to help as it frees the memory up (used to use SBSettings tools to do this on my old jailbroken phone) 2) How do you delete apps? Hold any App icon till they start dancing, then just hit the little x in the corner to delete it ( or delete while connected to iTunes )
