My mate changed from his Zed to a 57 plate BMW 335 TDI, and although it frikken quick, he just had a "Check-Up Service" at BMW and it cost him £300 at BMW. He's going there because it's still under warranty. Asked him how much a major service would be, but even he didn't want to know, lol

I too was tempted by this for a long time too, even had the bulb on my eBay watchlist and it got relisted like 5 times, lol And when Gervais found his lying about and had sold one already, I couldn't wait any longer. Look at the pic and you'll see that the difference is that the ex-foglight is a little "shinier" with the reflector in. The only reason I left it in was that if it was actually needed, then it might focus the light a little more and shoot it out the back so to speak.

If I had preheated the oven before starting, then I'd say less than an hour from start to finish.

Done it today and it was easy(-ish) Didn't even take the whole bumper off either... Before... Rear lights off and bumper loosened on the right side only... And light cluster off... Ahhhh....you will look different soon... Oven time... And back on the car... There shall be (Fog)light... Up close...(left the metal reflector in) Looks much better than standard. Thanks for Gervais finding the bulbs and selling them to forum members

Have you considered the heat inside an engine bay and what effect it might have on vinyl...

Use my Zed as a daily driver too and even have two trips to Germany under my belt. My Zed done it all without skipping a beat.

You could always Di-NOC carbon vinyl wrap them...

Could be worse tho.... Look at their new STi.....

Can't you adjust the belt tensioner? Failing that, double check you got the right pulley

They possibly saw sense finally that even tho the car is registered after March 06, it was manufactured before then and took that as the guideline, so don't spend the extra all at once
