  1. I bet somebody might play with the idea of going to Powerflow and having a ludicrous exhaust made with six tailpipes coming out that gap. Mind you, someone could buy it for £40 and run wild with ideas and mod the hell out of it.
  2. How big are your letters!?!?!? You could either install the biggest LED stoplight ever or install one of them LED scrolling signs and message people behind you (like "Oh sorry, did I just overtake you?")
  3. I guess so. Perhaps I too shall replace the speakers and add some decent amps at one point and rip out all the Bose stuff altogether. Makes me do wonder why I got the GT Pack tho... Rays = replaced with Volks Bose = replaced with F900BT Only thing I still retain are the heated seats and cruise control, lol
  4. Dave, I also have the whine, and I have traced it to it's cause. Seeing that we both have the same setup, I thought I would share my findings. Went to an audio installer and questioned the fitter about it and he said it's prolly a bad earth or insufficient earth. Then I told him about me using inline boosters and he said that that might be the cause, so I went home and disconnected the RCA's from the line boosters and connected them direct, sure I lost some volume, now having to turn up to 40-ish, but the whine has gone. So when I get a chance, I'll accuire some ground loop isolators and add them to the grounding cables on the line boosters and see if it helps. Will keep you posted once I get around to it.
  5. I reckon nurrish went up his stripper pole and then fell on his head.....it's the only explanaition
  6. If the mod were to be published for all to see once you made back your R&D costs, if anything it would boost your reputation. What's not fair about realising the info in regards to those who have paid already? If they were called investors to a project, then it makes it sound different, but still means the same. It cannot hurt your reputation to go public now and pay a traders fee, if anything it will make you and your bro a more reliable source for mods and people will be more willing to "invest" into future ideas you and your bro may come up with Just my thoughts
  7. Good place to start is to find out what parts are needed. Personally not a fan of air(suspension) because it would prolly ruin the handling of the car, plus you have to plan for where to put the aircompressor and airlines. You would most likely be looking at coilovers rather than just lowering springs. Might need camber arms replaced so camber can be adjusted more to your liking. Unless you know how to roll arches, that will most likely be a bodyshop job Also consider that you may lose some ride comfort, as the car sits lower it will have less clearance to "bounce" thus suspension will be stiffer to counteract and with bigger wheels come lower profile tyres, which will improve handling a little due to less sidewall flex, but at the same time feel a little harder. So, all in all if you wanted to get this all done you would need to visit a bodyshop and a workshop. So consider labour and parts and prolly little return from a couple of grand.
  8. So we are not supposed to press the japanese flag? Why?
  9. Nice to see some serious thought going into this, I'm impressed! Now, due to the extreme height and windresistance, it would eventually become more aerodynamic during it's descent. Like when a parachutist goes from spread-eagle to all limbs to the body and speeds up. So surely the poo would speed up. Also, the gas build up that gives the poo the initial acceleration should be taken into account. There must be a difference between just letting it drop as opposed to it being fired out.
  10. Try places like Halfrauds, especially when new models are about to come out. Got my Pioneer F900BT for £350 (ex-demo, new price £900) Wasn't too bothered about it being ex-demo, cos how many people actually end up playing around with the more expensive units on display? Not many cos they don't want to break something they may not be able to afford.
  11. voted for Nice Area & Garage Also, the area should have signs reading "You are now entering a Chav Free Zone" Requirements for these CFZ's are - No chavy cars - No youths wearing burberry baseball caps - No youths walking around with the hoodies up - No mothers under the age of 21 - No gathering of youths in groups of 5 or more on street corners - No playing of "duff duff" music at maximum volume with windows down whilst driving at 4.7 mph - Any combination of the above The CFZ scheme is currently under review with selected countys in the UK, with plans to have them implemented by early 2015.
  12. I'm suprised that nobody has asked this yet, but what happens if the night before climbing the tower you had a curry? How much of a crater would an average sized human poo make after falling such a height? I need answers to those questions dammit
  13. Nah, best way is to keep good economy in the Zed is to let it roll downhill in neutral, engine off and you making "vroom vroom" noises
  14. Maybe you could contact Rays Engineering direct, and propse to them that seeing that the value of one wheel is officially stated to be at least £1400, whether they could accept two brand new wheels in exchange for a set of, say Volk GTF in 19", as they retail around the £3000 mark, that way you could get a set of brand new Volks for an outlay of £200 bargain! Oh, but that only works in the world based on extreme optimism and where main dealer prices are the only prices in existance.
  15. Too bad you don't live round my part of the country, we got a BOC Gas distribution depot here and a local Nitrous Installer that does refills cheap
  16. Googled "Nitrous Oxide Wholesalers or distributors" for Wales?
  17. I might possibly go nuts and buy like 10ft lengths of these and surround the windows for christmas time, lol
  18. I know what you mean mate, but in the end it is I that has to like it really
  19. I could use them under the rear strut, I could use them in the head lights, I could use them to light the footwells, I could use them in the reflectors, I could buy more and light up the wheel arches, I could use them to show light from under the bonnet vents.....so many possibilities, lol
  20. Not great to be honest... It's fine for me as it's a drift car but one side sits about 10mm too high so doesnt line up with the roof. The sides don't sit low enough so there is a rather large gap Didn't nurrish have the same problem when he had the carbon hatch? If I recall, he removed the boot struts altogether due to the CF hatch weighing less than the OEM hatch
  21. How about chroming the car and then a layer of semi-transparent black over that?
