  1. Heel and toe is easy, those who can't do it in a Zed have deformed legs  A 380RS pedal does help tho...
  2. Yeah, basically will be stripping the layer completely and then end up with bare metal. Also finally found out what the proper torque setting for the wheel centres are 45 ft/lb, so I could take the spokes out and then do the whole lip much easier
  3. Is LongLife similar or the same as custom made exhaust from PowerFlow? As in you pick your boxes and end tips and such? Go for the heart shaped tailpipes, I dare ya
  4. Yup, used Bilberry neat........at least I can act as an example to other members that caution should be advised with any cleaner that requires diluting And here is that scary thread, lol viewtopic.php?f=22&t=24766 BTW, I have since found out that the layer on top of the polished lip on Volks is a anodized layer, not a laquer (been reading the US forums recently). I have found a few threads on my350z that show how members across the pond have suffered the same damage as me and found ways to restore the shine, although it means that I'd have to clean them more often to maintain the shine, but I don't mind that
  5. Perhaps you need the PF discs to go with the PF pads?
  6. But consider this, many have moaned about how TG only review supercars, and to review the Skoda the way they did was kinda informative (even if it was in a TG style). It can stand up to all kinds of abuse which makes it a fairly decent allrounder. Well that's what I thought anyway.
  7. PM Chilli Red (Sarah) perhaps? She got me my Varis front lip.
  8. What I understood was that the new folding fob came with it's own PCB and bits that could be programmed to the car, my mistake then
  9. Am I misunderstanding something here? From reading on my350z I gather that the internals of the new fob/key are programmed to the car and the only thing needed from the original key is the transponder chip and the blank to be cut to fit. I dunno, it's late, lol
  10. www.scan.co.uk is also good, just don't look in their dream PC section (currently their flagship model, The JellyFish, sells for just over £7000) Being water-cooled, upgrading can be a pain, upgraded 2x 8800GTS to a single 470GTX from EVGA with mounted waterblock, cost me £475 :s I'd say a good stabil PSU would be my starting point, as then with every upgrade you make, you won't have to worry about blowing your current PSU. I got an Antec Quattro 850w and it has served me very well. Powers two water pumps, eight 120mm fans, one 470GTX, overclocked CPU and RAM, six hard drives (5TB total)
  11. You are aware that Tokyo is in Japan, right? You mean thats never happened to you? When my manifold was blowing, my floor pan unbolted itself and smashed into the windscreen of the car behind me And never forget that shouting "Shut Up!!!" at your laptop/engine management system will make it go away, haha Also check in the first one when he rolls up to the meet in the alley how anmassive cable is dragging on the floor under the car, lol Will still watch Fast Five tho
  12. I think the odometer reading is stored in the ECU, but not sure on that. An UpRev tune would most certainly lift the limit
  13. Remember to support local hotels and restaurants rather than the ones in the complex
  14. Went from Cologne to Frankfurt via Autobahn, only to find my passenger had forgotten something after we checked into hotel. Which prompted a highspeed round trip which was done within 3.5 hours. Zed did it without any trouble and on the following trip from Cologne to Calais, there was some "urgent" driving involved (a Jag was game and we both appeared to be very "urgent")
  15. Does IMS stand for Impotent Man Sausage? And RMS for Rejected Man Sausage? Mainly due to some owners buying them for midlife crisis reasons and can't show their shoes to the ladies all the time...
  16. Oh, my speedo reads more than my GPS too tho, when GPS reads 70mph speedo shows 75mph, but prolly due to me running 19"s
  17. Isn't it possible to just plug in a UK speedo cluster and be done with it?
  18. Always makes me laugh how they always slip up on the email adresses that are not in the country of their residence Mrs. Cynthia Steele. cynthiasteele@qatar.io Washington, District of Columbia 20534 USA. United States Of America

  20. Prolly comes with Shark skin seats, ivory gear knob and dash flocked with Panda skin
  21. Just don't offer him a beer and a burger...we all know how that pans out
  22. I met The Hoff once....at a booksigning.....was for a friend in Germany....
  23. Body blue, roof and rear hatch red and a massive Superman logo on the bonnet
