  1. You missed the 30 minutes sucking air through teeth and tutting.... Nah, they already done all that before dropping the bombshell of £200 for fitting
  2. Pads are easy to do yourself, just get some decent pads and you are sorted, the us a guide here somewhere. And just one more thing, how come that a high majority of owners that get their cars back from a Nissan dealer get told that their pads are 90% worn? Go on and check other threads, I'm sure that they all say that. Never 75% or 80%, but always 90%
  3. £200?!?!?! @ approx. £60 an hour it will prolly mean - 5 mins to remove air intake - 10 mins to remove plenum - fit plenum spacer - 10 mins to refit plenum - 5 mins to refit air intake - spend 3 hours drinking tea and eating biscuits with the occasional scratching of backside
  4. One of my brother forum friends was well gutted, he turned up just as security was blocking the entrance gate off.
  5. well if you are not lowering the car at all, then i don't see why you would need to roll them.
  6. I have 19"s on mine, offsets that are close to flush with the arches, lowered on Tein springs and there is no rubbing at all, thus not had the arches rolled. Dunno if this is helping or not ...
  7. only if you get wheels that go as far as the arches and if the vehicle is lowered I suppose
  8. Trust you to say that, lol I don't live far from Bluewater but I think I might be wearing a Krispy Kreme if I turn up to a meet now Nah, the only thing you do with Krispy Kreme is eat them
  9. The police can't really do anything as Bluewater is private property, not public. They can't really kick you out unless there is a proper reason to. If they was gonna ask me to leave, I was just gonna go in and go to the shops, lol
  10. Showed up early with my bro and members of his club at about 5-ish. Security came round at about 6-ish to tell us to move out, because of what had happened last month. If I remember right, last month the jdmoriginals.com had a meet and they did leave quite a few black circles on the floor. Told them that we was waiting for more members to show up and then we would move on, mind you we didn't tell them how many were coming and when they would all arrive Then not to be beat, the security guy says that the police are on their way to check whether our cars had valid insurance....what an idiot.... Police never showed up tho, well as far as I know anyway
  11. Hopefully with one of those little voice activated mic things like in Batman... There will be a button underneath the wing mirror that pops a solenoid and then hydraulically lifts the door gullwing style
  12. Had same issue and deleting cookies was the solution, so two packets of Fox's later I fired up CCleaner, which has cookie deletion option ticked, and Robert is your dads brother
  13. Ah it was you, lol Was wrecking my brains to remember your name, sorry Was thinking, who's got the azure with rotas and those taillights.... haha Good to see you there. Also spotted a clean silver Zed with nismo sides and ings front lip and a blue 370Z.
  14. To be honest, there was a point a couple of years ago when shipping parts from japan became stupidly expensive, which is still reflective in today's prices. My £450 Varis lip is genuine as it was in the country before the price hike.
  15. Good stuff Will, I first heard that there was a Zed with white wheels on one side and black ones on the other. And I said "oh I know who that is"
  16. Saw you in Bluewater this evening, coming to the ground floor from the upper level. I was parked by the GT-R and Supra near the downramp. Saw an azure owner too but my apologies as his name escapes me, but nice to see you too
  17. If I took the bolts out my wheels, the centres would fall out But seriously, get them refurbed properly, cos looking at it even if the lip looks polished, the spokes are still in a grubby state
  18. Yes, but that is more of a PEBKAC or PICNIC error rather than an OS error
  19. Perhaps I should put my K1 back on without bungs, then they will hear me coming and will look around to see where the "danger" is coming from
  20. If you can boil a kettle while booting up, then something is wrong with your PC. From button press to login takes me less than a minute and that's without SSD and running an old Q6600 CPU
  21. Same here, had a PC since 1991 a 386 16 with DOS 4.0 and started building my own in 1997. Love fiddling around with PC's, updating, ripping them apart, building and fixing them for mates. Pete And with PC's you can build something truly individual The two GFX cards have since been replaced by a single watercooled GTX470
