Have you PM'd ZMANALEX or R35LEE in regards to OEM bulge bonnets? They had a bunch of them a while ago, might be worth checking them out

I think a smoothed bonnet would look odd with out the later model "hump" in it. I dunno what would happen, but you also need to consider heat, even with the planned vents, and how the filling material would react to it. Anyway, here is a pic of a OEM bonnet with Nismo style vents cut into it

I haven't read the instructions yet - you have to dilute this then? I have the actual Megs spray bottle and the dilution rate is marked on the label, i.e. There is a mark where to fill with water and then top the rest up with product. Last Touch is diluted 1:1 or can be used undiluted also. Have always diluted myself and it's always done the job. If looking for value for money, you can't go wrong and buying Meguiars Last Touch Detailer in a bulk package and using the correct dilution rate should last you a long time, plus it smells nice

Yup, Megs Ultimate Compound is good for bird poo acid burns. had some on my Varis bonnet, rubbed over it gently and it's much better. Seriously considering a car cover for parking at work. Work at a port + 12-hour shifts + hundereds of seagulls = you do the math
