  1. I've no idea! But I'm looking to take that off as well. If you would be so kind to take more pics from different angles and what you want for it, then I'll get a better idea, thanks
  2. Dunno if this was ever asked, but does your supplier do these with less pressure for those with lighter carbon bonnets?
  3. Reading the description, why would the seller even write "Only opened box to take photo, buy as seen" He knows something is wring and if you take a closer look at the picture, something doesn't look right with the front shocks. I know they are coilovers, but they should be at least the same length tho.
  4. Oh damn, by the time I got home last night I was so knackered I totally forgot to look for the trim piece, will look tonight after work, promise
  5. I think leonk means a structural geometry check, not the laser wheel alignment. Having the four wheels aligned should be a given anyway.
  6. Used to run a Garmin nüvi in my cubby with no reception problems at all. Now with the Pioneer F900BT I have the GPS antenna hidden under the dash behind the triple gauges, also with no connection problems. My guess is that a dedicated GPS unit will always have better signal reception as a mobile phone also has to receive it's network signal as well.
  7. Errrr......no it's not. I'd say £8500 max. Don't even go and say guide prices for immaculate conditions fetch this and that, cos it doesn't apply to previously Cat D cars.
  8. Did you say you are looking for a replacement passenger tweeter housing? Why I think I may have one knocking about. I will check once I return home from a days labouring to confirm.
  9. Remember back in school when you used to wrap book covers in sticky back plastic, same principle here. Only difference is that you heat and stretch and apply, it is really that simple. If you are stuck for which vinyl type to choose, I think the difference in how long it will stay attached when applied vertically to a vehicle exterior, I think one is 3 years and the other is 4 years, but you'll have to check, but I don't think it will matter as it's gonna be on the inside. Other tools I would recommend are a vinyl wrapping squeegee (if possible felt covered) and a hobby knife/scalpel to make precision cuts in tricky areas (mind your fingers tho )
  10. Pop over to the Hexis website and look at the automotive/vehicle application vinyls. They have a vast array of finishes, including matt black and satin black. To do the centre console you'll need about 120cm x 50cm (you'll have enough to do it twice in case you mess up), which shouldn't cost you more than £30
  11. Plus you can sugarcoat it all you like, it's not a 3 year old car, it's a 2005, storage or no storage. It's 6 years old and has been Cat D categorised at one point. Not taking away from the effort you put in to restore her, but really £12K is way too optimistic. Seen UK GT's go for around £7K, GT4 or not doesn't really make a big difference in the price in my opinion.
  12. The Port Of Felixstowe had some of the landside assembly going on in our dock basin area a while ago, friggin huge things.
  13. DIY for the win! All it takes is patience and a hairdryer. Plus you get a satisfying feeling cos you did it yourself
  14. Shopping trolley for the win!!!
  15. Yes, in essence you can take two powertaps from the reverse light, one to power the cam and one as a signal to tell the screen/HU that reverse is selected and thus auto switching to rear cam view. However I do not know the pin layout for the nissan sat nav screen to know which wire is the signal wire or the connection for the video feed (could be a simple as a plug for vid feed, but not had one out to look at myself)
  16. You should have seen that engine bay, like a disco in there with lights flashing and stuff
  17. I know that the jap sat nav can take a reversing cam, cis I saw one in action last night. As to how it is wired up, I have no clue, but I am sure someone on here will know.
  18. In the videos, the music is playing on the HU
  19. Just for you I did another video, hope the music is to your liking
  20. I used the 3M stuff for my dash! Just make sure they are using 3M DI-NOC CA 421. But to be honest, you'll be better off with vinyl from Hexis and do it yourself
  21. That's what I meant, the video quality is gonna suck when uploading from the phone while out and about
  22. Hexis do all sorts of vinyl finishes, from CF to solid and metallics, even alligator skin and woodgrain. (I really wanna see someone do alligator skin centre )
