  1. I hope you do realize that the meet is NEXT WEEK, not this week (that is if you are talking about the South East Meet @ Grasshopper Inn on 28th Jan of course) No talking about Bournemouth breakfast meet tomorrow Ahhhh....
  2. Welcome to the Forum There's a meet scheduled on 28th Jan at The Grasshopper Inn in Kent, should pop along and have a looksie

  4. Those pics, if you look closer, seem to be with caps. Zoom in and you'll see that it isn't a thread, but just machined detail grooves. At least that's what I think... Pics from their website
  5. It may also help if you find the headlight adjuster screw and raise the beam a little bit, found this made quite a difference too on regular beam. Took me about 20+ turns, to make it easier, turn lights on and face a wall to see where the beam goes up and down. viewtopic.php?f=35&t=53911
  6. Sorry, I have not, DMS were too quick for me, haha. But yeah, copper washers either side of the banjo bolt and job should be a good'un
  7. Yeah, as with Dave, I went to Dixon Motorsports to have my HEL lines fitted, didn't look like there was any additional filing to be done, looked like it was a straight fit.
  8. Looks better than I expected. Get it done Jay! Yeah Jay buy buy buy - they look smart To be honest Jay, you know as well as anybody else on here that these Volks don't really come up for sale at this price very often. Yeah they might need a little TLC, but compare that to any new set of wheels, then I wouldn't mind the giving of TLC. I still remember when people spent in excess of £3K for a set of Volks, me included. And no, I'm not on any commission, lol
  9. I've seen people try to make their tires last longer, but that is redicoulous
  10. Go on Jay, you might as well...
  11. You just tell her it only cost £400 and then you distract her by presenting her with an expensive handbag and/or shoes
  12. It's called iPhoneRingtoneMaker. http://download.cnet.com/iPhoneRingTone ... 20152.html
  13. I have a free program that allows me to make my own custom ringtones and import them into iTunes. When synced to my phone, they show up under "Custom" in the ringtone settings. Fair enough it only allows me to make 30 sec tones, but who really listens to more than 10 secs really?
  14. I'm just thinking about people that driver think they can drive like Clarkson and drift it all over the place. You'd go through tyres in no time and they ain't gonna be cheap, plus the aforementioned wear on mechanicals
  15. At Chichen Itza, the mayan pyramids, there are lots and lots of guys wanting to sell you souvenirs. Always haggle, and they seem to like baseball hats too. Had a swim up room at the Sensatori, it's brilliant. Wake up and swim around the corner to the pool bar for a lovely mojito
  16. If you want a new factory unlocked one, you could shop directly at the Apple Store online.
  17. Went to the Sensatori Azul, which is in that area too. Our room had a jacuzzi inside the room!!! Cancun can be reached via local bus service within 20 mins. Be prepared to be nearly mugged by luggage boys when exiting the airport though, plus they so swear under their breath if the tip isn't "handsome" enough
  18. Don't believe what JapSpeed tell you. I mean really? Next thing you know is that JapSpeed make suspension that bottoms out all the time and then blaming your local council for building the roads too high...
  19. I see, so the little bolt and nut is where the clutch rod is supposed to go? Probably helps if I could see it all in place. Dunno if I trust my self doing the mod, bit of a mong that way, lol But looking at the RJM Performance disassembly guide it doesn't look to daunting. I'd prolly worry that the clutch rod would fall off or retreat out of sight and I'd be sat there with no way of getting it back
  20. Yeah, I read the the same thread on the US forums (which I pointed to on Dannys thread about his clutch adjustment) So am I understanding this correct that the hole that the little brass coloured thing is now bolted to is the new hole and the hole below is the original one or did I misunderstand?
  21. Please, whoever buys these, DO NOT USE AUTOSOL on those lips. Please accept this advice from a Volk owner, and use something less abrasive.
  22. Looks like its for females only, well at least for the sitting down part...
  23. There are one way valves in the system i think, check the tubing and trace after the split to the individual wipers on the front. Don't know where the tubing is routed for the rear one tho, sorry
  24. Enjoy it, no doubt it'll be a great weekend for you
  25. Im not overly fussed about the cost, im just wondering as ive not got the car yet, and have little idea how much it'll cost. I am hoping its not a couple of hundred right enough, like i explained i saved up for the car, flying down to get it, had it inspected, etc. Im skint!!! Any plans for any mods yet then?
