Wasn't too long ago I saw someone selling a plate as "BOOOST" or something, Saw the pic of the ad and it was actually "J 300 OST" My vote is no. Do agree with smaller/no plate option tho (Like motorbikes don't have front plates so.....)

Brand whore But in all fairness it is ridiculous to think you can replace your normal washing stuff with these products, there is no comparison in value for money... The waterless cleaners are expensive but a fantastic alternative where your normal way of washing is not available (shows / hosepipe ban etc) Im sticking with my megs pour in bucket wash stuff but will use the greased lightning when im feeling lazy or dont have use of a hose pipe and jet washer! It's not just being a brand whore tho, it's also basic math (see my previous post in this thread). But I am only going on what I would do, not telling anybody to do.

I know a metal worker with certification in all kinds of welding and he'd prolly do it for £20.

Was at a mini meet yesterday and saw it in action. Someone cleaned a panel on a GT-R with Greased Lightning. Then I asked someone that had Megs Ultimate Quik Detailer to do the panel next to it. Personally, I couldn't see a difference nor did I feel one when I ran the back of my hand over the surfaces. My personal choice will remain Megs Last Touch.

I think you'll just have to ditch the 22" wheel idea altogether and go back to the 20"s. I too believe that it is a spigot ring/centre bore issue. I'm assumimg the 20"s didn't need spacers to fit, thus making the wheel sit central on the hub. Even with 6 studs, you'll still have a little play, enough to go off centre and cause vibration.

I had my Volks refurbed at PureKLAS in Coventry. They will come back in perfect condition, but be aware that you'll really stay on top of cleaning them as they are polished back to bare metal
