thanks guys, i was surprised at how much attention my zed got with an nsx a few feet away lol. and i had a feeling the guy who did 3d vinyls drove a celica cos they were only on celicas- a bit like u only see dreamcustomz headlights on zeds lol. like u say, not everything looks good but u do have to appreciate them. i think they look good on a heavily modded showcar esp if theyre subtle

the drive from glasgow seemed worthwhile when we arrived there went at last night and again today before we left... brought back a big box as a souvenir lol... and u gotta try the new strawberries n kreme donut!

heres my photo diary of the trip to northampton for the santa pod jap show. i was on the stand for http://www.funkypower.com based in ayrshire who ordered almost all the mods for me and fitted a lot of them. was a good weekend away and even better to get a couple of days off work! i took the zed and my mate took his teg type r, 1st pitstop was just before the border, i couldnt even make it into england without needing a leak lol there were 3 other cars on the stand, another type r import- the current civic saloon, and 2 former time attack cars and championship winners in japan- the hks nsx (now funky power's demo car) and the buddy club integra dc5, both have to be seen in the flesh to be appreciated made sure my car was nice n clean before i took pics, here she is modelling lol iv been for a run in the nsx, its unbelievably fast! and thats it de-tuned for british roads lol. the wing isnt the prettiest thing but it needs it lol the buddy club teg the 2 type r's hows this for a mirror shine?? lol our friends at EP Racing were in the stand next door, spoke to the zed owner, nice chap and even spotted jay a few stands away, didnt tell me u were goin mate! also spotted muddy with his heavily modded chilli zed, looks good in pics, looks unbelievable in the flesh! great guy too also seen this in front of muddy, he told me who owns it but cant remember his screen name, member on here bumped into quicksilver from here before he hit the track but didnt see him after that. seen the 370z for the 1st time. interior is very impressive, the backs growing on me but not sure of the front... that was beside this GTR but too crowded for a good photo lucky enough there was a red one and a carbon modified one not sure about the carbon but the GTR is gorgeous... loads of other showcars there. these guys have too much time on their hands... im so jealous lol some very nice supras couldnt find vin diesel... mellow yellow civic jordans... these 3D vinyls were popular on the celica stand and a few pink cars... the kids around this calibra say it all... lol the rx8 had a nice kit but the colour ruined it lol. not sure wot the older car was... but i did spot this datsun 260Z, 1st iv seen i was impressed woulda had more pics if my phone wasnt dying lol. was a great trip overall, wont be my last at a major show in england. woulda been good if we had a club stand tho... that night we stopped off in manchester and this was the highlight of the trip... actually if this wasnt on the agenda i prob wouldnt have went! they gave us not 1 free complimentary donut... but 2! and they got 2 new donuts lol

ur lookin fwd to working?? u wont say that once ur into the swing of things lol i really miss student life but wouldnt have a zed if i was still a student- were not all like u lol well done again mate never doubted u. bring on the mods!!

rear bumper is stunning jay, good call. as for the sides... i think id be biased if u asked my opinion lol

never really been a fan of the gt4 wheels, stock rims are not bad but i prefer the modified look on a zed personally. opinion, not fact lol

the front bumper and skirts are too low for having it any lower on glasgows roads, aint touching the suspension. sorry to disappoint lol

for all my critis out there who said i needed spacers at the back lol finally got them on. ordered 15mm h+r for the back but once one side was fitted we measured them cos they looked good for 15mm.. turned out they sent 20mm...happy days! lol was expecting a subtle diff but im really impressed, worthwhile mod for anyone considering them ....and no im not lowering it lol

yea mate mine is a UK car, the short ram fits easily, long arm needs the washer bottle removed. the guy i bought it from is the main AEM dealer in the uk, he ordered and fitted it for me
