  1. This does not hold true anymore Rich If using the launch control results in DCT or GB damage you are covered so far as you take the extra/optional Nissan warranty. AFAIK its about 3k per yr Also, before they change to the above your warranty was voided if you used the launch control excessively or beyond reason noty that if you used it at all Anyway why do you need launch control? Its still a sub 4 sec car without it
  2. With Wales meet at the corner grab yourself some bargains and free post (i will deliver them if you come to the meet ) Will acept silly offers within reason
  3. Not much in it Can't justify the £340K price tag against the GTR £60k

    Nissan GB :-)

£108 for taking tyres off the rims, fitting new valves then balancing the wheels? For an extra £42 you could as well done it yourself
  5. Check with breakers(A1 spares on ebay have a huge stock) or pm Nurrish. He may have one lying around
  6. Nice work bud Most 5 spoke style wheels with decent lips/dish work very well with the zed and particularly so as you have a racing theme going on........which means 19" will be better. Also rides better Tarmac's gunmetal 19" LMGT4 wheels will be ideal if you can prise them of him at a good price May even look better in black but bronze will be ok only if its like the CE28N shade

    Carbon Wrap

Yes its been done before I think andy did but not too sure but someone will come along pretty soon and poit you the way You can also get these trim cheaply from salvage or breakers to replace the damaged bits which you can freely experiment with eg sand down and paint or professinal wrap of DIY. Nurish was selling a center console sometime ago not sure if it sold
  8. I will certainly do this for Wales and it will be an opportunity to showcase the unit. The early tester vids I made were a mish-mash of short on-board shots and home vids which i can't put up I will be looking around the £180 ono mark delivered (Saving of £45) for a quick sale in case people are interested. Half decent MiniDVR 2 video from youtube:
  9. Nice work Matt Looks like i inspired you when you came downm to nurrish for the satnav
  10. That looks horrible Thomas It is a big wonder how you went this far before noticing You got the Dixcel setup now. How do you find them? Used it on the track yet?
  11. Very clean example with subtle mods and those 370z wheel just sets it off Its amazing and better than on the 370
  12. Pacific rocks But why? why? why? did he have to .....................................
  13. Goodluck Jason and keep in touch What is going on in this forum?
  14. Hi guys, I bought this bullet cam in January from Dogcam and have only tested it a few times and it just the thing you need for trackdays or can be used as a digital still camera or video/audio recorder or even to spy using motion detection . I may have to sell this to raise cash for a covert unit with data logging capability for use in the Ring or trackdays (There is a ban on video-recording in the Ring, which i knew of but i thought i could pass-off the bullet cam but looks like with vehicle inspection it will be near impossible ) A mate of mine had directed me to what i need but it costs quite a bit so this may have to go....................... for the right price. This kit with accessories cost me £255 but i would be open to sensible offers Please pm for any questions or interest Mods please donot delete since this is just an interest gauging exercise and with the right response i will put up dated pics and a price and i am sure Nurrish can vouch that he has seen in action If not put them up in Ebay. 15. Someone to get a bargain especially with the tyres have bvery good thread Refurb will be cheap due to the overall condition and i know what colour i will PC at the sametime GLWTS
  16. Happy 26th birthday young buck Do have loads of fun and
  17. Very good choice replacement for OEM size rotors I have PF 01 race pads on my BBk and they have montrous stopping power and fade resistance...just very dusty cough cough Its not very clear from the pics if you changed the pads too, but hope i you did not postpone that too . Lines and fluid change will be a doodle once you get the car up to the ramp
  18. Rich, you are 10x the man you were before in my eyes for contemplating such actions but its the right thing mate However just like others have voiced, i would stay clear of any performance car and get a decent youngish and cheap car to run/insure/fuel/service etc to get the books in order and then bounce back later or sacrifice a few things now to keep the zed, because its not always cheap to swap cars as it may seem. So do your home work. Note you will be in a greater position of strenght if the car is HPI clear or weakenned if not as PX will try to rape you I hope you hang in there until the breeze blows over
  19. No chance with sidewall damage. Its the most vunerable part of a tyre Change the other side if its <6mm( ie the difference should not exceed 2mm- new tyres are 8mm) may stretch to 5mm-5.5mm. If you buy two new ones then you have a spare for any eventuality Invest in alloygators or learn how to drive
  20. But that would be for the manufacture (ie durability of welds/anti-corrosion etc) as you cannot warrant the metal substrate catalyst themselves since with use they become inactive. Well constructed cats with the right grade of steel will outlast the substrate so a lifetime warranty is pretty pointless Thats why 2 years seems to be usual warranty for premature failure of the catalyst from Berk and all the big brands
  21. NO It clearly states Magnaflow I would'nt hesitate buying these if it comes with warranty at least 2 years because its the same 200cell construct like the Berk and Magnaflow has alot of experience. Otherwise give Chilli a call for Berks I hope you also understand that HFCs or decats without remapping or piggyback ecu support makes no gains except noise
  22. 8K Dave Is that miles covered or mods
  23. That sounds more like it now i'm so jealous i would try and hop in with a ride in wales to feel the difference. What do you have for wheels/tyres combo. I've got 19" with 265/19 front and 295/19 MPS which were awesome on track but scary in snow or heavy rain due to the large contact patch. I just dream of what Advan A048 or R888 etc in these sizes will be like to drive
  24. I think steveW touched the salient points here: The issue with paints stems from the enforced use of water-based piant now and its an issue not only with Nissan but cars in general when this paints was introduced. The 370 has better paint and you can get the self healing paint AFAIK. Just like Nissan stepped up their game with it. I think as a general rule its a good idea to ask for solutions or be constructive in a forum rather berating the star attraction, so he deserved the response he got A bit of elbow grease and TLC goes a long way to keep the car looking but i for one bought the zed for its performance and handling and don't really care if its has the worse swirl marks in the forum etc Its a mans car
