  1. GT4 Zed

    Rear tyres

If you are rolling then go for 295/30/19 for the best fit Its a huge huge change in dry grip levels from 275 but it likes to play when wet or icy butwith my setup always progressive and controlable................................at the right speeds
  2. Why risk it when you can get the original LED from ZMANALEX for £240 or less if preowned(Goes for £200 ono) and offset this cost with you non-LED lights which fetch about £80 or less if the are a few on sale I think someone got similar to this from the US and the fittings are different so he had to cut both looms and connect the wires directly
  3. I have got these Gates belts(New) which is now surplus to requirement you can have it for £30 same as i got it Pm if interested!
  4. So its you i have spotted around the area then Thrice infact once in my zed and twice in my peuguot 308
  5. 10.5k will be a steal for such a lovely car Its more like £11.5 IF i were you i would partout the mods as the car would still sell at £9999 easy:teeth: Coilies, zorts, rotas , D1, injen and decats will easily fetch over £1.5K If you don't have the OEM replacement i have a few going cheap
  6. I see you waste no time Cast your eye on the FS section as there are stuff always going for sale.
  7. Any zed will be good from 2002-2009 even the 370Z too. they are a real drivers car and punch above their weight in many respects. As for mods there are many routes and it will depend on you and budget The most important thing is to get a car with good history and evidence that all is well but as a rule they are hard as nails mechanically and the little niggles are easy fixes! There are so many resources on the forum so don't get lazy read through the stuff and only then would your questions define what you want otherwise you will end up doing what we want since you will have very little opinion
  8. congratulations. Wonderful days it must have been. Enjoyed while it last as the zed has stiff competition from now on especially when sprogs come later in the pics
  9. Yes anders more pics please WRT oil any fully synthetic 5w30 or 5/40 is more than adequate for trackday use. The important bit is to try and preserve the longevity or rather maintain the quality of the oil so it performs optimally by enhancing cooling, hence why an oil cooler kit and extra sump volumes are highly recommended for tracking/racing. Also frequent oil service keeps it fresh. I do a DIY oil service every 4500 miles which is just an extra oil service between scheduled P service. AP racing 6/4pot (362mm/330mm rotors) kit with Pagid RS29 yellows are a marriage made in heaven but too expensive hence i went with Ksport. Not sure if Pagid do this for OEM brembos if so they will be the ones to get or the PF 01pads. I tried to get prices for the RJN brake duct cooling kit but they were so busy preparing for the 24 nurburgring race that i got fed up chasing them But to be honest i can do without them as Steve pointed out too
  10. Way to go Anders nice laps....short and sweet Next time front views with onboard shorts. You will be fine with uprated brembo setup but if you got the performance friction rotor a would get also get their 01 race pads which outclass DS 2500.
  11. Yes the 350GT "skyline" Never came here officially so all are imports. same engine and overal perfomance but 2+2 Herewith a nice example for sale on Autotrader: http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... ?logcode=p
  12. atioStunning Zed Shaun +1 on spacers +/- lowering your number plate location cannot be too good for the radiator performance too you can get a legal vinyl sticker one made so it does not mess your front end lines This is what it looks like
  13. yes, - if its cheaper to do so. But i doubt good quality brands are cheaper eg APS, PE, ARC - if you track the car often or envisage FI in future Otherwise buy the OEM sump and rest mate
  14. PF only does fronts 2piece rotors hence DBAs are the closest match Very nice mate, looking good
  15. Nice but the CF wrap would and this would have been even better
  16. On another note why are you changing the wheels again?. I like these ones mucho What size, ET and current tyre sizes are you carrying?
  17. Thanks for doing this mate i have always wandered what the zed will sound like with just short side exits exhaust a la Viper
  18. +1 +2. Anders, people falsely underated the OEM Brembo which is very good for track work with track rated pads and definately uprated fluid, 2 peice rotors(slotted or vented) and steel lines This setup will barely be bettered by the OEM sized full 2piece brake/calliper kits on sale. The only next performance step from here is a decent BBK which is only better by virtue of size: a larger swept area and greater piston size/numbers hence more braking force and fade resistance. I for one only found the BBK setup only beneficial for multiple laps(5-6) on the Ring where the difference is huge. But remember a lap is 14 miles . Before my BBK i could do 2 hot laps easy but at a 3rd, brake fade was obvious but not catastrophic and it came back to you after you went through long high speed sections requiring little or no bracking. So a 4th lap was possible if you showed due diligence Therefore on standard UK lenght tracks the uprated OEM as above should do 5-6 hot laps back to back no probs. Adam @ Z-1 does a good stage 2 package with stoptech aeromax 2piece rotors, lines Motul RBF 660 fluid, steel lines and Hawk performance pads(You can spec performance friction pads which are the bees knees) All you need is to gets used brembo callipers only ...........................cue: Ian, Alex or R35LEE
  19. Not yet but mate Good idea as it may be cheaper on postage to "GB" . i'll email the seller and see what he can do. If anyone else is interested please pm me £25 then please to 350Z-uk, as a member trader Hey Colin, how can you call this trading Ii am going to buy the clock for myself and if there is anyone interested then we can order together period. If there is savings from a multiple buy then i am happy to donate it to the forum But you can't call me a member trader
  20. WTFIGO? It's not me who got it, so who is it Dave i thought i have a life long first dib
  21. If you mean forging the internals then not really unless you are aiming for high HP/TQ The standard internals are good for 400whp and 380-390lb/ft torque. Above that it will blow eventually So the standard APS kit is a bolt on fit
