Ian you got it wrong mate 297FWHP is 246.5 @17% so I've ammended the list.
-
I did it only for fun and to shut some people up . I'm not sure if the 17% loss would apply to torque at the wheels but i can give it a try unless some one knows better. Please correct me Dcash 274.4WHP VQ35DE JDM 2-3FIDDY 272.2WHP - VQ35DE 3-GT4 Zed 270.1WHP - VQ35DE revup 4-Andlid 265.4 WHP - VQ35DE 5-Jcor 263.8WHP - VQ35HR (no mods) 6-Clazba 262WHP - VQ35DE JDM 7-Rich5259 257.8WHP -VQ35DE (No mods) 8-IanS16 251.9WHP - VQ35DE JDM 9-rdsprint 252.5 - VQ35DE revup (no mods) 10-Lincolnbagie 250WHP -VQ35DE 11-Ian 246.5WHP - VQ35DE 12-Ekona 242WHP - VQ35DE revup Ian i did not add you or Dave as you have joined the dark side. But if you insist Dave has to retune his zed.

Its obvious you don't have your den at home Really its all i want is other people who are interested in it to join for the GB. Unrelated comments or design ideas can be directed to Nismo

with you all the way on that mate

270.1 FYI Look in the appropriate section : viewtopic.php?f=25&t=24431 Going back to your original question NA leader board with graphs -within the forum(All adjusted at 17% estimated transmissionloss from FWHP where necessary to avoid ): Dcash 274.4WHP JDM 2-3FIDDY 272.2WHP - VQ35DE 3-GT4 Zed 270.1WHP - VQ35DE revup 4-Andlid 265.4 WHP - VQ35DE 5-Jcor 263.8WHP - VQ35HR (no mods) 6-Clazba 262WHP - VQ35DE JDM 7-Rich5259 257.8WHP -VQ35DE (No mods) 8-IanS16 251.9WHP - VQ35DE JDM 9-rdsprint 252.5 - VQ35DE revup (no mods) 10-Lincolnbagie 250WHP -VQ35DE 11-Ekona 242WHP - VQ35DE As covered several times the peak power means little but rather than the response and smoothness post remapping. The mods are inconsistent with the power made as expected and some dyno overread while different conditions give different results but in all the dynopack is most consistent irespective of dyno the loss are around 17%. Mark was always right

Wouldn't that be nice Looking forward to you making these as i would buy it off you Bump to serious interests

Need a new scanner for sometime now but i will find a way to post it and satisfy your curiosity If not i might ask Thor to send me and email attachment!
-
Can't believe you never installed it yep, that info is almost correct! Come to think of it, it had done more like 7k Sounds awesome with the K1.
-
Thank you so much for this info Alex I can breathe a bit easier now. I donot do any Uk trackday anymore (actually since i got into zed ownership) as i put everything into my Ring trips but i've been planning to use Bedford autodrome as a shakedown to get me retuned in and pick up on any issues before going to Nurburg as i realised i've been lucky sofar with no mechanical failures. I would have to be more thorough with my checks

I would'nt worry over the figures Ian as is the perceptible improvement that matters. I got 270WHP and 285lb/ft with AEM CAI, K-1 exhaust (bungs on), Japseed y-pipe, UTEC ECU , Berk HFCs, Motodyne MREV 2 & 5/16th spacer and D1 spec controller thrown in the mix The D1 controller did not make any power whether on or off but off, the car felt as responsive So with Uprev the 100% throttle openning is key and the smoothing out of the torque and power curves counts for massive percieved crisper drive and overall improvement I later sold the Berks, MREV2 and AEM because I want to run factory Vortech SC setup which i was planning to get at the time. I took the car back to Thor for the UTEC fine tune where i only lost 8WHP and 12lb/ft of torque....go figure! I did not feel any losses with those items off and the D1 set at sp7 still made the car feel like it had 300WHP Lesson learnt for me was: Uprev even with no mods will be worth it anytime and if you don't want to spend that much just get a D1 controller To get more smiles you need to improve handling and braking after that its FI or serious NA all of which are big bucks.

It would have been exactly that if I had not spotted it, in fact it probably would have thrown the shaft within a few laps with disastrous results but hey ho we live to tell the tale. Is this the first change you done since tracking the car or rather since you went big on power? Would you be able to hear or feel any progressive changes if the shaft was on its way out or is it a case of sudden let go i am already having cold sweats at this thought When you do your checks do you take all the wheels out and check the whole shafts, brakes, suspension component, undercar area and the usual engine checks?
-
its easy just think this is how the rear will look when you get it back

Good steady progess Chris Vids awaited

I think RJN also have NA race engines for sale that will make 450HP if you wanted. GTM also sell a complete race engine with 400HP But the fontana nissan race car takes the biscuit at 470Hp/335lbft (albeit its a 3.8L DE cosworth stroker) I still think Adam's car has the best balance in the real world and i would rather that too over a non forged FI build. But a forged built SC will win my vote any day over a built TT Links to fontana: https://www.fontananissanracing.com/Chassis_Build.html https://www.fontananissanracing.com/Body_Build.html https://www.fontananissanracing.com/Eng ... art_1.html https://www.fontananissanracing.com/Eng ... art_2.html https://www.fontananissanracing.com/Eng ... art_3.html https://www.fontananissanracing.com/350 ... nsion.html

I have to say that does seem a lot - didn't expect shipping to be so much to be honest. Think I may have to pull out of this one, sorry GT4 Zed Unfortunately shipping is expensive. Using my personal contact to ship it privately by non-priority shipping will bring it down considerably to about $30-35 per item and i might try to "squeeze" also on the declared value for Duty but, it will still come in around £85. As mentioned in the intial post the estimate of £95 is worse case scenario and if it comes cheaper then hurray The option of donation can be upto individuals but i for one will be happy to do so because if bought directly from ebay it will cost ~£125 delivered I have taken your name off mate. No worries I have also ammended the original post to reflect clearly above.

Lurkers but no more takers

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... ink:top:en Saw this a while back and posted a spotted about it. I was going to get it for myself until Bhavin85 mentioned buying it together to bring down costs. I have been in contact with the seller and he is willing to do a 25% discount per clock ie $60 instead of $80 and p&p of $50 per item. He can only send packages in pairs(max 6) to ensure these p&p prices due to limitations in weight and size with USPS international priority mail. For comparison, If you ordered yourself, it will be $140 (£95 @ todays xchange) minus paypal fee, duty&VAT ~ £20. ( Duty= goods value + transport cost @3.5% and VAT= Value +transport + Duty @17.5%). I beleive paypal fee is @3% I have looked at other possible postage routes eg Bundlebox or personal shipping through a contact. These will not be different from USPS prices but it gives me the ability to "sort" the duty so i will go with either The target price is therefore £85 (All charges inclusive). Any savings between the target and actual price can be donated to the forum. For those who donot like the GTR badge like myself the seller feels it can be easily removed. At your own risk of course, if not buy a GTR The conditions of the Group Buy: - The list price of per item is £95 minus charges (paypal fee/duty&VAT) and the estimated GB price will be £85-£95 all inclusive. Saving you £20 or more. - The time frame (No closing date): After first 6 names/payments recieved. Once you are confirmed you would be expected to pay within 24hrs if not your place goes to the 1st the reserve list and so on. - Items are in stock and delivery scheduled within 10days. (7 days from order confirmation/payment plus 2-3days Uk mainland registered 1st class delivery). - Delivery is to individual addresses. I will request these at the same time as your paypal via pm. - The postage cost and import duty&VAT are included in price as above. - Please post your confirmed interest in the thread only and I will maintain a single list for clarity based on this. First come first serve as usual. - I will request paypal payments £75 initially which should be sent as gift or other to avoid double charges. The rest to be paid before delivery. I prefer this as then the exact duty&Vat and Uk postage will be known in case of the unlikelihood that we need to top up. -Mods please ammend any of the above as necessary, i have had a good go at covering all angles . List: 1-GT4 zed 2-Bhavin85 3- 4- 5- 6- Reserve list: 1- 2-

I think Novidem are the real deal 562 hp (~500RWHP) and 435lb/ft(~380-400RWlb/ft) are really amazing figures but i bet they are not cheap. Note how they've retained the OEM fuel rails among other things It would be nice to know if they've kept the internals stock, what warranty they provide if they did the work for you, consumption figures, what this setup consist of in its entirety and cost Hopefully Thomas will be paying them a visit soon and will provide some answers

Nice setup Just get rid of the cheap tyres especially the rears

Gorgeous congratulations

Will look even better with the strosek rear bumper. Are you getting the wing too Strosek is very cool and well engineered but expensive. Always wanted to ask you Thomas, what is your consumption like: urban and extraurban? Do you have a switchable setup to turn the SC off if needed? I think that is a very strong point for it. finally have you had any issues with the set up at all? -

Looking good Thomas with those wheels Don't be concerned about the car looking dirty it shows you drive it rather than pamper it as most here. Thats the way to play....drive it like you stole it Are the wheels matt black of is it brake dust. My gloss wheels look like that be its from the brake dust
