I did mine myself and its dead easy. There are to tensioners in the bottom to slacken ad get the belts off and repeat the process. The zed has the ability to auto tension if its slack, must have been pretensioned too tight check and make sure the belt is tracking true on the ribs. Why did you not change both at the sametime Zmanalex may have more trouble shooting ideas but go back to the grease monkey who nstalled it and share your concern

free bump!! Its the best belt and stronger than OEM. Got my replacement fan/aux from you Ian last year. Do you eat belts why do you keep buying them Also simple DIY install for the mechanically savvy PS. Stillen item arrived safely, thanks

I consider myself a loyal costumer and have been with most services for 10years or more and they have been having a laugh. their speed was no were near quoted (i know..... i know the drill but common........you would think they will do something about it) and i become very fed up with the BS and decide to go to sky. when i called then for my MAC code it was a struggle as they were doing everything to retain me even offered £5 pcm for my full package unlimited down low and they will come a trouble shoot my lines to get more speed etc etc. So i told them to fark off as i had made up my mind especuially as i have Sky world and was taking their unlimited phone and broad band which worked out cheaper than BT anyway. The modem came in ontime and today i installed it within 5mins and it works without issues and faster than BT by far. So what's the catch? if SKY s using BT lines why am i seeing faster speeds I think BT is just complacent and are just plauin lazy to keep up with the times and i am glad i took this decision. Next..........is British gas who have enjoyed keeping my acounts in credit for years making interest over off it and when it came to get a new boiler tried to reap me off on the price off the boiler and the installation fee. After that i will deal with L&G home insurance/building and contents Next!!!!!!

I did that tunnel twice the day i left yours dropping the MREV2 and it was intoxicating with the K1 at full cry I can see how thing can get ugly on the transition from the tunnel to the open road due to differing grip levels.

There are merrits to all sides of the arguments raise here but we have to put everything in perspective. It is the Ring were there is a code of conduct and though non-competive on a public day, has worked for donkey years were you will always have a mix of talent level and cars of varrying performance with little or no nannying as would be the case in Blighty. -The "rules" are simple stay on the right if you are being overtaken or slow. -Open your eyes and ears -Make sure your car is roadworthy -You have to pay to play -You spoil anything track related and you will PAY. -There are no speed limits though it is a public toll road on such days -In case of an accident that is you fault, you will pay for all the resultant carnage. -Your oil spill is your responsibility -Expect to be overtaken by locals or regulars who are driving for BTG time or trying to impress to get a test drive/seat in various levels of motorsport in germany. -if you die its your responsibility and it goes on and on.............. This format is well balanced and has worked for year as stated before with no more fatality than most other race tracks anywhere in the world, when you adjust for distance and popularity etc. Secondly if your attitude is that you want to go and cruise around and be unhappy about being harrangued on the racing line or by faster cars then you should not be there or you should take the Ring sightseeing bus or ring taxi and let those who want to experience life and risk to carry on

I think as other have said already it will be had to find a wheel that has the right ET to fit flush with this kit so find anything within your budget that is closer to ET0 and ideally 10"+ wide so you need only a small regular spacer However you should be aware that that kit will weigh a bit plus going for very big 20" non racing wheels will weigh a ton which will kill your performance and consumption Personally i will try and get the lightest 19" wheels i can find with the ET and width as above. The final consideration you should look into will be tyres. Large wheels 11"-13" will need large tyres and you will get more readily available cheap part worns in 19" than any thing else I see MPS 2 305 or 315/30/19 all the time on ebay and they are even cheaper than the 295/30/19 i usually get because of less demand Do your research well mate! or look for some other original body kit because TBH veoilside has been done to death

I have had this for ages on my zed Seriously though DRLs make a difference and one of my first mods was to convert my sidelight to superbright white LEDs which i always drive on with efectively as DRL and you notice it catches peoples attention especially when you are comming from behind and they are fa%*ying about I also agree that there a loads of other things that can be done to improve road saftey for all users but some are more implementable than others though i do think that more can be done about the current laugh we call practical driving test
-
I think it will look better when the whole car is painted in Falken race colors And in anycase its about function not form though i personally agree that it fits better than on the R34. The only thing i don't like is the curved bit at the lower end plates I would cut it off and have a normal pependicular end plate. I am still waiting to see what you are planning with the bonnet will it be reverse louvres or just cut outs and mesh underlay? I know a company that can press louvres out but i don't think they can do that pattern you have stencilled as the under bonnet strenghtenning members will be in the way keep it comming

Saw polo's car in the flesh on Saturday when i went to drop off some parts. It is more awesome than this pics can depict everything is about craftmanship and max attention to detail and and Polo, his GF and mate are very down to earth and unassuming and are really deep into the drifting scene. When i got the Polo's GF was torquing down something in the heads and that made my day, while the lads were beavering away on other chores. His garage is in an industrial estate between Bicester and the M40 and you would be had pressed to tell from the road. The unit is very large and when you finally get to Polo's end you will know by all the jap specials scattered around. From a 400bhp+ evo to multitudes of s14 in various guise of tune and full on drift cars with falken and other sponsors livery. I should have taken some pics I am very happy i went there and saw what this talented chap does and if i had any work that required a hands on approach on my zed i certainly know where to go. I can assume his labour charges will be low compared to the stealers or local garages but his knowledge and resourcefulness means you will have a good deal and be well looked after. For somebody like me who likes to do alot of my own stuff it will be seventh heaven as i am sure he will let you do some of the work yourself if you know what you where doing. So guys living in Buckinghampshire or environs you know where to go for you zed needs Polo, i hope i have not spoken out of turn as you have never offered your services here but i felt it was worth leting other zedders here know that you have a full garage facility and can do loads! Anyway, please continue to post your progress on your amazing build and hope to see you soon. PS: i have sent an querry to Ichiba and Adam @ Z-1 about the parts we need and hopefully we'll get some news soon but let me in if you figure something out sooner

I am thinking strongly about the true rear coilover setup after seeing Polo's cars setup in the flesh (Project Falken 650HP G35) and will put my KW var 3 coilies up for sale if sufficient interest. They are in good condition and the best street/track day coils you can get for the zed . If enough interest i will take photos and put it formally up for sale I will be looking at offers at half value ono as a guide. Please post all interests on this thread. No pm's please Hope mods will will not see this post as an infringment of any rules. My recent sales thread have parts of the suspension in the frame and I will be taking full shots by weekend All you need to know about KW here: http://www.kw-suspension.co.uk/variant-3.htm

Hi Polo, took out the Ichiba today w and put back my OEM while deciding on which to replace with? SPL or SPC? But not to be out done by you i tried my hands at rough polishing the arm First with wire brush then emery cloth. Not too shabby and feels satisfying. I will do this to all the bits when i swap bushes See you friday or saturday. Ichiba/OEM polished/ OEM with 35K miles worth of grime/corrosion When i finished it was dark!!! The zed tucked for the night
