  1. Don't think its doable via uprev but Mark should answer this shortly Otherwise you can opt for - Whiteline blackbox traction controller http://www.z1auto.com/prodmore.asp?mode ... rodid=3556 - Racelogic traction controller http://www.racelogic.co.uk/index.php/en ... on-control http://www.racelogic.co.uk/index.php/en ... ol?start=6 http://www.racelogic.co.uk/index.php/en ... ol?start=7 http://www.350z-tech.com/forums/148-aus ... alled.html They are both plug and play but you need to know what you are doing to fit it. AME are the main guys to install the Racelogic which costs from £600 and £1000+ depending on options selected. I has launch control and other functionality The Black box is popular in the US and costs $600-700 but only has traction control only. I really fancy the blackbox controller more due to price and simplicity but I will have to see after my SC is installed if i have traction issues.
  2. Whoaaaa Darren that was fast Welldone mate I like the red plenum The stillen engine dampener is a great mod and improves gear change precision too. Couple with a short shifter and the urethane engine mount like I have the gear change is bolt action precise with no slack or unwanted movement of the gearstick during hard acceleration or down changes. Only down side is more NVH but the SC will be louder I will install the proper engine mounts later during my sc install. Look forwards to your complete install, tune and impressions for inspiration
  3. Well on you Paul! It's a beauty. Love the color

  6. Sorry lads but its taken the wrong way my statement and reading it now sounds like i suggested other were wrong. What i meant to say or convey is that alot of pips just post out very general enquires or request whenits notclear what they are looking for or actually want to achieve and it can be dangerous for them if they just take advice just on the face of it without considering what it is that they are after Docwra i know we had an awkward exchange in the past but i assure you its not the case here. Take for instance as a drifter you(docwra) will whan to dial in a rear toe out amongst other things to make the car oversteer or break traction easily but for an op just wanting abit of optimisation of the OEM setup this could be fatal if they dont have the skill or experience to handle such a nervous setup So as much as we all want to help each other improve the zed or general motoring experience it is important that we identify what it is that is needed because we could inadvertently cause the opposite. Thats what i should have said in the first place. Trackpig my apologies to you too if it came accross as crass.
  7. Pm replied. I have sent PayPal details
  8. By the sounds of it look like it will be for you but no biggie for your mechanic if he has basic tools with long moment arms and common sense
  9. +1 It's very easy for people to spew out figures in the air as to what will constitute best grip or handling but it depends on so many variables eg what you can adjust on the car, driving style and the application is intended for. If you don't know what you are doing you can get hurt!! The OEM setup is pretty good but conservative as it takes best tyre wear into consideration and set for under steer though it will oversteer when ruffled or in low grip levels. You cannot adjust caster on the std zed or front camber but by lowering it they both should adjust equally within a few minutes of each other. Toe is adjustable via the tie rods. On the rear you can adjust camber and toe. With this said for road use aim to go just outside stock setting upto about 25-30% of this. Eg Front toe -0.06 to - 0.10 Camber -1.35 to -2.0(only if you lower the car or have adjustable arms.) Rear Toe -0.06 to - 0.10 Camber -2.0 to -2.5(you may need adjustable arms to get up to 2.5 if not lowered)

  12. Ian mate you have outdone yourself and taken this to the next level I am bringing bumblebee for some of this soon. If anyone needs their zed or any other car doing they know where to go! I have seen the care and attention Ian puts in his previous work and would recommend him big time. Coldel you are a lucky so and so make sure you keep it in good condition.
  13. Hope you had a happy b-day ol' boy
  14. Thanks Wayne for the feedback it's a shame bumble bee is on axle stands as you would have enjoyed a drive in it. Happy to help and let's know when you get spacers and a tune. Your zed is one of the best I have seen and I did forget to take pics so please post up some pics and the custom work you have done If you change your mind about the cwest lip let me know. It would be a shame to buy a brand new one and butcher it to my requirements. Cheers

  16. This is what I felt the car should sound like from factory. The stock exhaust is soulless, the stillen is cultured but with the Berks it just vulgar I love it. Will, I am in love with Rosie Must come down for an introduction I take it Uprev next Good job guys
