Lets got 1 thing straight. What frigging R&D do these guys put in? These aero parts are purely for form rather than function! It's not like they have to wind tunnel the design etc. I this modern they age age of CAD etc its makes parts design quite easy and labour unintensive. Yes they have to make prototypes then approve it before making moulds but from then onwards its just minting money. RTP for example may produce very good copies by cleaning up existing parts then making up their own moulds to churn out perfect fitting parts, it's not a long way to design from scratch and keep the prices reasonable. The issue is the industry has enjoyed a long time of plenty when the punters spent silly money on the cars for branded products but the wind of change has put an end to this and the ARC etc are all falling like flies. I would pay for a fairly price part but would not hesitate to get a competitively priced replica of comparable quality. Hopefully as we all do this it will force the big guys to start pricing competitively too.

As mentioned already this is normal with heavy duty racing clutches. They become very "grabby" when hot just before full engagement. I experience this even with my HD single plate and single mass lightweight JWT stage 2 clutch so I can just imagine how yours will behave. In any case it will take a longtime to wear out and then you will face a big bill

I got a buyer for the passenger seat so if you only want the drivers seat it's good to go. I'll take offers on the items leftover.

I have a new vortech filter and a slightly used one for sale soon. Also have the upgrade stainless steel oil feed fitting into the V2 supercharger to replace the brass fitting which is prone to cracking with catastrophic results. I'll put up some pics soon.

Nice one lads. I fitted this many moons ago and also Wasso's but couldn't be asked to earth to the handbrake to switch the light off. It's not really an issue since its LED and should last for ever.. I used the Honda s2000 kit from eBay.

Hi folks, I am putting up this thread for a member here who has taken ill and cannot finish his amazing drift zed project. We have been in touch as I was interested in some of the stuff he was doing and I want to help him out recoup his costs so he can focus on his health. This is not a sale thread hence no prices or pics. David will send pics and for details whenever his health will permit and prices then the thread will be transferred to the FS section. At this point I just want to generate interest in the items leftover and help him out as he is a genuine guy and zed enthusiast at heart. You can register your interest with by pm. When the thread goes for sale i will manage the FS thread and p&p where necessary but all payments will be made directly to David's PayPal or bank account. All I can say is the prices will be very attractive from what we have discussed and there are bargains to be had so start saving up. Mods lock this thread asap so it's for viewing only. Looks like we are cooking on gas guys. We are returning the oil drain into the pan spacer pre tapped hole and I ordered a readymade drain line with fittings and will just get the same thing made up for Adrian. The oil feed side is ok and "T"s off the oil sender unit and is braided and upgraded with ss connectors unlike the brass jobbies. I think we got everything else and I just need to go and pick up the pallet sometime next week or weekend once I have confirmation it's cleared customs. -
I would go for the e36 M3 evo 3.2 all day long. Get a cheap car and spend the rest on full strip, roll cage, seats, engine refresh. standard brakes upgrades, polybushing, chassis strengthening etc Cheap to run as track car as parts not very pricey. 0-60 5.3s 321 bhp 258llft standard weight 1.4tons

Never had trackday insurance even going to the Ring but will consider it if the price is right seeing that I will be bumping my power output by a bit soon. So do you do cover for the Ring? PM some quotes. 40 yrs. male with 8 yrs. NCB. Modified zed soon to be supercharged.

Awesome colour choice Chris. Me likey lots!!! Are you retriming the interior? Black Alcantara or leather with orange stitching will be spot on with orange dials too

Nice choice of wheel colour but unsure about the door handles.

One of my favourite cars off all time. Still kicking myself for letting a 640bhp show condition example slip my grasp I think if everything checks out and the car is rust free the mileage is irrelevant. However I don't think it's worth 28k more like 24k. Turn down the boost to 500whp and you will rest free for a longtime.

Don't be tight Dan just get a new pot

An accusump is completely unnecessary on a standard engined road car. If you have a forged precision race engine with very tight tolerances I could understand the need for pre oiling with an accusump. Also worth mentioning that the OEM sump is baffled too. Just above the pick up is a baffling plate and the sump design also stop oil starvation on cornering etc. you will need to run slicks to be anywhere near to uncover the pick up and have oil starvation. Increasing oil capacity and cooling is more important for our usage.

O.M.SPORT supercharged 350z Drift build
GT4 Zed replied to Ortega_9's topic in Member Build Projects
This is very unexpected and terrible news David. So sorry for you and hope you recover quickly and start a new build project. I was very much looking towards the rest of your build. Post what you want to sell and I'm sure there will be interest. I fancy the BC racing but will have to sell my KW first. PM me with you list or what you want for this and other stuff you want to rid off. Best wishes -
Got the AAM spacer and oil cooler increasing my oil capacity to almost 7l. Oil temps are perfect and my consumption has reduced and the oil seem to look healthier. APS will be my choice if you need to get a baffled sump but I am warty of how it slight hangs out and the width....... I bad hit and you are in ......

Nice Bhav. Z4 why not 370z WRT the dampness where is this? It's not unusual to have tiny amount of oil come through the top of the damper unit. This is normal when you reset the coilover and should not cause alarm. I had the same thing happen on my KW V3 sll the time when i reset it and contacted KW who reassured me. It's even stated on the manual. Never had an issue with the function. That oil is not connect to the main oil reservoir. If the valve seals go the damper collapses with no resistance and it will loose all the oil not just dampness. Hope this helps out potential buyers. Give them a gone clean though and if possible get them checked professionally and ask more to cover your cost if you pto reservice them. You asking price it's very good to start with. Need to catch up soon.
