  1. Suspension sold and collected. Thanks Gordon, was a pleasure dealing with you. Make sure you get your sale to the Wales meet. 18th/19th May. Can't believe you did not know anything about it!
  2. Ok bounty hunters you heard the man so stand down I repeat no more rewards but we can split anything you nick from his place
  3. Help help! Adrian has just robbed me last night. He claimed he came to help fit my supercharger and pick up his glow shift sensors etc which I'd ordered from the US. Then said he had to leave and all my shinny SPL parts ended up here. :scare: What do I do know. He's going to fit them!!! £1k. For anyone who can go and knock these back for me
  4. Excellent report Steve and well done Mark I wish I was there and driving this beast. Need to look at seeing you guys in action soon.
  5. Nice work guys! Still yet to come a see you race Steve but hopefully this year I must. Look after the car guys as that ECU is coming to me on Monday! Hope you get a class podium
  6. Good work as usual Taras! I really like the front vents and looking forwards to the finish of the whole kit.
  7. Coming on nicely! I think the shut cut is acceptable as the deadline is looming! More so I can't wait to see the mini finished Keep it come Mr K. Have you had time to fit your SPLs front arms yet? Any problems. Ill do mine sometime this week!
  8. @ Darren. The list is more impressive than really is. The car is going on axle stands tomorrow and fit the next 7days after work ill take the things off that need powder coating, painting or anodizing and swap whatever is needed. I refit everything and just leave the belts off so we do it the warehouse (err hmm ...... zed shed 2) as a team and admire our work. Thanks for reminding me on the reducer. Did not put it on the list as its a small job @wasso: you are free to come and help mate. Seriously though I am more interested in when you are getting the Wasso pipes made/delivered to save me powder-coating trip/cost twice! Not to mention the boost leak saga Adrian has had to cope with! @ Adrian: don't worry I'll get it going when I can get pics up onto photobucket or I can commission you to write it for me. I should have borrowed two of your axle stands @&£!! When do you think out stuff from HK will be here? Ill email you the logo you will kindly make for me later.
  9. Just to clarify as Darren already pointed It would be an overkill to use anything more than the stage 0 RFS. What I mean is, if you were going to really go a balls out NA build then it might be worth considering as my car feels so much better with it ATM.
  10. Sorry. Will be keeping this for now until I can sort an issue with the replacement exhaust.
  11. Finally I can catch up here! Been a busy weekend Thanks to Dazza and Adrian for the massive help fitting my fuel return system. I was very apprehensive about cutting into the fuel pipe but we did it and everything works with no leaks. Very good team effort The car actually runs smoother and better and seems to have more oomph! I think the car should have had a return system from factory. To take this one set further I think for a very committed NA tuned car thus will be beneficial together with the usual bol-on mods and ecu reflash or piggyback. In all it was an inspired decision to do the RFS now and just have the SC hardware to fit on the first week if May. I can't wait for my MAF to turn up and get this puppy purring. We took a little jaunt into the back roads of Windsor and I was behind Adrian's car which was just awesome and spitting flames on overrun Wales is going to be special!!! Now into my final to do jobs before installing the sc. Any help appreciated - powder coat IC pipes, kinetic SSV, w brace, ARB, and some other bits and pieces. - anodize sc bracket - paint IC with special radiator paint - paint TB - reinstal wrapped headers and motordyne ART pipes - swap all exhaust headers with urethane bushes - install new Ac condenser, radiator and fan shroud - fab custom CAI - fab custom brackets for IC - modify lower IC pipes to fit bigger IC - re-gas AC - get base map from abbey - hopefully get the wasso pipe I don't think I can squeeze in any much needed aesthetic refurbishments before wales but who cares
  12. We finally arrived at Adrian's place 30mins ago! Wheeeeewwww! What an eventful weekend and where do I start? A maahoosive thanks to the Keysers and the Busters for their hospitality, generosity, blood sweat and tears! Special mention to Dazza who is just the guy to have around with such a project! We did it and the results are there to see. I did not meet papa smurf but had the pleasure of his cooking and it was luuuurvelyyyyyyyy! Was a pleasure to see you again Will. Ok I take blame on slight delay arriving with some vital components but what you don't know is, not only I finished a nightshift that morning I had to make a detour via castle Coombe to get some final components last minute and a 3hr drive via A and B roads to get to Bournemouth in dreadful weather. It was fun except for the bloody caravans in some parts! Yes a couple of the t bolt clamps where a size smaller for best fit and some couplers too thick for where is was needed but I specified the correct sizes but the supplier in the US did not account for fitting tolerances.anywsy we adapters things and everything worked and no bodging was required. I usually get all my things from concept Z performance with no issues but I had to outsource some parts elsewhere and these minor issues crept in. I am still waitng on some final things to arrive hopefully the week and I'll have all I need to run my own car. In anycase such was the strength and wealth of experience at the shed that these small issues where surmountable easily. I am very proud of being able to spec all the parts required to make this vortech tuner kit complete and with room to grow and it all came together which together with everyone's help this weekend was a nice achievement. Final credit to Adrian himself who had to put his faith in me and everyone else blindly to make the dream come true. He may not have a lot of tuning and technical know how but he had the guts to go for it and that is commendable and this is what motivated me in particular and probably the rest of the group at the shed. WRT my own SC project, Chris don't apologise for anything. I have been sitting on the kit and parts for 1 year already and don't mind waiting till after Wales but I may be tempted to get it done earlier after we tune Adrian's car tomorrow I have learnt a few things today and it will mean doing mine will be even easier as I got some things already installed and the team will be even slicker for it. Because i have decided to go SC with a built engine eventually my build is a bit different and I'll I have to plan well to avoid repetition and runing into any major issues. Hat off to Mark @ abbey for the lain ECU and base map which is spot on!!! It's impressive stuff. Not a single glitch to be seen. Anyway off to bed and let's wait to wrap things up tomorrow and I'll make my final decisions.
  13. Really tragic news . He was very friendly and approachable and a true zed fanatic at heart. If he was sick then he never showed it or let it get him down. He was truly SPARKLY. My deepest sympathies to his family and Amy. Bon voyage friend.
  14. Bump for some good quality arms. A must if you want to restore you camber to oem after lowering the car or increase it for better handling. I had the ichiba and cusco arms and they all failed at the ball joints
  15. Adriano, when did you take this pics and have the time post? I am just getting up from bed and knackered from the mahoosive unpacking, sorting, checking and planning stuff we did yesterday and I still don't have a build thread or anything of the sort. I better start soon before I get left behind Anyway thanks for coming and helping out and glad you have all your stuff just the intake and CAI and we have everything. BTW we forgot to get the vacuum hoses. @ papa smurf. Would you ever forget the 'fing plugs
  16. 'FING brilliant to quote someone here! The zed shed will quickly become a one stop shop. Should we start a queue Chris?
