Letter from octet & Wasso to aunty Gloria from USA
GT4 Zed replied to Adrian@TORQEN's topic in Off Topic Discussion
Dear Octet and Wasso, Thanks for your letter. Now y'all listen very carefully; I don't know ya! I don't have no f&@king relatives from Europe or anyway else! My Jeb(late husband.......sobs) and I tried for many years and never had kids and since both of us where adopted we have only had ourselves as family and failed to trace anyone. We he passed on no one came forwards despite all attempts. So I don't give a flying f£&k to whatever disease y'all may have contracted ............,Infact it sounds like some gay condition......or some crackhead bullshit! And finally y'all should get proper jobs and all and not try to rob an old woman. Stop smoking that @*!# and if y'all attempt to write or contact me again I'll bust a cap in yo arses............ Yeah you heard me right!! Don't mean because I am old I can't take care of biness!!! Jed, bless his soul, he taught me how to shoot and left me his 22(...Rants...............!!!! Eastern European my arse! He'll no!!!!! i'll whoop yo arses if I catch y'all!!! Gloria Mackenzie PS: to y'all thinking to do this @*!#; be it Irish Scottish and hell!! even green people from Kansas or Keyser, don't do this @*!# 'cos yo momma don't be proud of ya! Holla! Peace out. Gloria baby! -

GT4 Zed replied to Adrian@TORQEN's topic in Spotted on Ebay or Other
Yet people spend £1000's on exhausts, wheels, remaps etc. etc. I don't see the negativity towards an improvement in braking for around the same as a set of 2nd hand LMGT4's. Making the car stop more quickly is surely more worthwhile than 90% of the performance mods people do. Your point about not being able to go faster than anyone on the street is true, so then if you're not tracking your car why not buy budget tyres, discs and pads as these would be perfectly adequate for day to day driving? When you consider that you can pay ~£1000 for DBA discs and Ferrodo pads all round, another £500 for a BBK doesn't seem that crazy. +1 +2 +3 Almost missed this fun keep it coming guys Being that I have had BBK for over 3yrs now and track the car I have to say this: BBK will improve your brakes immensely and there are so much options out there but you still need to get good pads to get the best and it cost £££. I have K sports and they where cheap wrt going DBA, PF etc disc and high end pads but the sting in the tail is when you come to refresh the disc and pads its £££! It comes to £1.4 delivered to refresh both front and rear rotors and PF 01 pads!!! So be mindful of hidden cost. BBK will not get you to drive better or brake better you still need to sort that s&@t out for yourself. Infact it could do the opposite as you will become brake dependent and these will overheat and fade then you will moan about brakes! A lot of people do not no how to brake! It's a lot more involved if you want optimal performance and balance. The OEM brembo is more than capable with good pads, braided lines and upgraded fluids. You don't even need all the funky OEM size disc upgrades. The improvement with cooling is minimal to justify the cost. The issue with OEM brembo will be endurance becuase of the small heat sink(mass) compared to a BBK. Personally unless you track the car a BBK is not needed especially on stock power because you are also adding unsprung weight and dulling you performance with your measly 276bhp So both sides if the argument are valid but on balance improve your stock brembo, learn to drive better and brake better and or if you intend for big power and heavy use like track work the go BBK or SMD or for **** sake go even with WMD and if in doubt buy it for bling -
Not a fan of the R33 but yo whip is sweet

Nice exhaust!! -
Are these seats side mounted or bottom mounted? if side mounted then buy buddy club seat mounts. They have zed specific ones and they fit. I have my cobra Suzuka sets mounted on these.

Well done Mrs K! Looks like once again Mr K is just taking pics instead of getting karrah's mini sorted pronto

1 piece charge pipe for Vortech Supercharger - Group Buy
GT4 Zed replied to Adrian@TORQEN's topic in Forced Induction
Well done for the relentless search for someone to make this pipe! This would have saved me eventually tuning the car twice. The V1 is a must have if you are brave to shoot for big numbers with the 3.12/2.87 pulley!!! Otherwise the V2 is a direct replacement and means less chance of boost leak for having so many joints. Note that mine should be non-polished as I will powdercoat it black -
Thanks to all the organisers for making this happen again and successfully orchestrated. I thoroughly enjoyed my first full Wales weekend and though I was apprehensive to tag my cousin Pam along to my surprise she abosolutely loved it and is already making plans for 2014 It was also nice to catch up with faces new and old! Hip hip hooray!!!!

Hi Ray, you can update with: Vortech V2 T trim 2.87 pulley and fluidampr 6.125 crank pulley. Stock engine, equal length headers UPrev @ Abbey 15.9psi 424whp/ 370lbft rev limited 6k rpm for now. More to come.

Yup! i know i should have a build thread and keep everyone updated about my project and eventual Sc-ing of my zed(bumble bee) but i just dont have the time. I should employ Octet to do this for me Secondly I'm very modest Anyway, since this is already out i should as well confirm that I'm FI'ed now and though it has been problematic Mark @abbey has done a sterling job making the beast safe until when i can sort out the issues we encountered. I always knew it was a risk going balls out with this but the thing is that i can, since i have a forged engine in the pipeline. I will use this thread to update my progress and I will do a formal build thread in the relevant section when i can get my biaatch to do it!! The car is rev limited to 6k rpm( FYI Revup upper limit is 7k rpm) and has had a lot of timing and cam overlap pulled out to keep boost and power down but still the beast wants to get out. Dynographs: Bumble bee: First start up! http://i476.photobucket.com/albums/rr123/GT4Zed/06EECA20-F0ED-4EC6-9166-2F2949585ED1-674-000000E8F3672437.mp4 I'll post some engine shots later.
