  1. Very nice!! How scratch resistant is this? How much to do all this bits? Do you need prep work on the plastics?
  2. 20mm spacers should do the trick or push with a 25mm. What is the rear wheel ET?
  3. Hi Neil I have the Eibach ARB and power grid drop links and set to the middle hole. Had no issues. I have set it to the hardest before but swapped back to medium as the car went from neutral to oversteer tendency. Don't remember any issues too. I can also send you some pics but that would be the weekend when I plan to work in her.
  4. Your geo was a mess before alignment and that's has been rectified except for your left front caster which is .5deg off. That's a lot and would after the steer ahead and dynamic steering response as accentuated on uneven surface. My suspicion is you have a bush failure at the front and the play is what you are experiencing dynamically driving or clearly manifest on the corrected geo. Your wheels, tyres are all good and though its always good to get the tyre well balanced I don't think that's the issue. Look at the culprit compression arm bushing but also the translink arm bush and check both arm ball joint for excessive play. The UCA bush or ball joint are almost bullet proof and should not be at fault.
  5. Without a printout of your geo any comment about your alignment is irrelevant as being with isn't specs could still mean a huge disparity on each side of an axle etc. The significant thing here is the change from 18 to 19' wheels. Can you share the wheel dimensions and tyre sizes with us? My feeling is you are suffering with bump steer the result is going with wider and bigger wheels. This can be reduced with the right adjustment and its easier if you have more suspension adjustability than the stock suspension system.
  6. Atleast its finally coming together mate! It must have been stressful. Not to worry you are going to enjoy the car when is all done
  7. Hey Sam, can't make sense of this please clarify so I can assist if needed.
  8. Grow a pair and take it to the next level that engine is crying for Or follow GT4's example and take it to the max I thought he took it to 0? Philistines you lot
  9. Grow a pair and take it to the next level that engine is crying for
  10. Surprised the VLSD hasn't sold yet when I consider how many non LSD cars I saw at the ace cafe! Anyway I'll take offers on it and anything other item. Bump
  11. @papa smurf: BDST awesome @ Haydn: you know you want it and its a bloody good deal so just go for it and no ooing and aaahing! Just imagine it with your Ti zorst hhmmmmm!!!
  12. Adrian you are as mad as a box of frogs and a traitor for leaving the 350z supercharged club to 370z but I have to support you no matter what! So as already covered by Darren this kit is a bargain! It's almost brand new, complete plug and play and has the best supporting components money can buy! We both bought and installed our SC almost the sametime and have the same spec so I know what it cost to buy new!! Moreso we helped Adrian install this and uninstall the kiit and its in A condition. I would go I step further and say now that if anyone got this kit I would help install and I'm sure Darren and Adrian would give support. You would just need to tune and go.
  13. Welcome jacqui, Yep give Carl @ city motors a bell for all your needs and he can sort them out at a good price. I trained him well and there's nothing he's not done on my zed. Pm me your details if you need any help. Bennett
  14. Hi Kev, just saw your post and pics and can't help but noticing too much preload on your rear spring. Looks to me like you've used the spring only to drop the car when it should be a combo of the spring and the damper. I have the same kit and will put up some pics if I can on Friday when I redo the alignment. BTW for those interested they maybe for sale by month end. Including the EDFC.
  15. There no single answer as it depends on loads of other factors and budget!! Start from there and maybe we can guide you achieve your suspension goals. I've used the HKS hypermax RS, KW V3 and Tein monoflex and from a quality point perspective the KW is a league above the two Japanese makes. But this is not really comparing like for like. Eg type of spring, rate, adjustability, damper design etc etc. Would I recommend the V3 for simple road use....... No because having three way adjustability can make for difficult set up. The V1 or 2 may be adequate My personal view would be for road use and a small budget and not wanting to swap other suspension parts I'd say go whatever you can afford and lower the car only about 20mm so you don't run into out of specs and the set the coilover to your driving need. From there tune or develop your suspension as needed. Just choose something with simple preset adjustability for bump and rebound and most of the coilovers here will do the job.
  16. I've got headers, Motordyne V2 ART pipes with a Miltek y pipe back exhaust and my zed is bordering on quiet. Mind you I had a very loud set up with the K1 so its relative. BTW I didn't note much difference in sound from my unsilenced decats to ART pipe.
  17. 370 engine in an HR 350 body and FI'ed will be a dream made in zed heaven.
  18. GLWTS We missed you guys in Wales this year. Regards to Michelle.
  19. http://www.wheelcarrier.co.uk/ These guys are cheaper and more reliable
  20. Hi macca! You are just a hoarder and never seem to install the parts you but Just to confirm the ARBs was stiffened from the gt4 upwards so its an upgrade. BUMP to a top bloke.
  21. I've got a driver side CF vent for sale as I've changed my mind on putting 2 vents. PM if interested or want pics. Cost 45quid excluding p&p and duty but will listen to offers.
  22. New stuff added. Will also be putting up some coilovers for sale soon when I decide which to keep. (Either KW v3 or Tein monoflex with EDFC.
