  1. Weight saving is always good but where its saved and how its distributed is more important than just the raw number lost. Reducing unsprung weight saves you about a ration 1:4 compared to sprung weight but more than this its improves performance.
  2. Nice zed. Kuro is the best and I'm not biased😉
  3. Ah it the roll cage! Get rid of it and send it to me!i don't mind creaks😜
  4. I have the very last set and a motordyne TDX and need time to think before I decide what to keep. I'm mad I know🙀 How much do you want to pay😈 Nismo TDX
  5. Same thing I noted which is why I clawed back to -2.5deg at the rear. Has yourKW failed? I had one damper fail and send it to KW Germany directly. In hindsight I should have Isis more and send it via the UK outfit. TBH I was the cause of the failure as I used a wheel gun to tighten the upper but in a haste. After doing the other three manually👀
  6. There is a super medallion hyper which is louder and I think its discontinued but stocks may still exist. The super medallion touring is what you want unless you want to get used from here or the states.
  7. The zed defo weighs over 1.5k kgs. 1300kg will require a full race strip IMO. Speak to Jez @ H dev or mark @ abbey as they both run full track cars. Or search on my350z.com. Many threads relating to weight saving and weight distribution etc but it at the end if the day it depends on how far you want to strip as lightness is not cheaper and not value for money for a track car. However removing seats, carpets, spare wheel, exhaust, cats, Ac, trims etc and replacing with rays, bucket fixed back seats, single exhaust will net you close to 100kg.
  8. Hey Neil, happy new year! I found that there was no advantage to extra camber in the rear and -2.5deg was optimal unless you want to buy tyres all the time. Toe seems to be more critical. I was tuning a lot if toe in to prevent oversteer but now with an LSD providing so much grip I'm at 0 deg rear toe to help reduce unwanted under steer and push from the rear. I know geo with slicks or semi slicks is different as there is so much grip so I would appreciate your feedbackðŸ‘
  9. Discontinued mate! If you get a new one I'll be amazed. Consider the Tanabe super medallion touring if its the Nismo sound you want. Better quality and cheaper too.
  10. I have probably dabble with the zeds suspension that most here and I learnt on truth. Do it nice or do it twice! Godspeed overall are on the same rung as Megan racing etc. looks good but no longevity. If you don't want to pay for SPLs consider Superpro eccentric bush for the OEM UCA which will give you and extra 0.5deg of negative camber. Just depends what you want the car to do. I'm running 3-3.5deg up front depending on track type and that's really a lot for non slicks but its an acceptable sacrifice for turn in and steering response against tyre life. 2-2.5 deg is perfect for all round performance and you can probably achieve that with lowering and the bush!
  11. True😉👀😎😇 5 months to wales me thinks😈
  12. Not to poop on your parade but I doubt that will fit!!! Unless you have proof from the manufacturer or end user the design looks very flawed. The primaries just run too long before they bend. I have fitted DC headers and its bloody tight and had to widen so flange holes to get it to sit right and not interfere. Just look up pics of popular brands and you will see what I mean. On the other hand its very cheap for someone to have a punt and I may be wrong.
  13. Alex, you are a big man for admitting it could have gone differently👠Atleast the OP will feel better👀
  14. Never saw this but looks good! Well done Ian.ðŸ‘ðŸ‘ðŸ‘
  15. While I agree with Alex in principle I think it would have been reasonable to give the OP time to contact you and first refusal. if he did not meet your price then that's another matter. It's not like you had it openly advertised the arms! He made the inquiry and you claimed you had a set. Then 12mins later its sold to another😳 before he could contact you. What was the desperation? It just causes unnecessary friction in the forum!!

    Spraying of alloys!

I'm sure it is fun fun to spray it yourself but why not spend that time on some other DIY project and powdercoat the wheels for £20 a piece at City powdercoating in Birmingham👀 You can even take the wheels with tyres to them and they will un-mount and remount them for you for another £20! Takes about 3-5days turn around. Powder cost is more durable than paint so its a no brainier👠https://m.facebook.com/pages/City-Powder-Coaters-Ltd/349494635713?id=349494635713&refsrc=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.co.uk%2F&_rdr
  18. Best wishes for 2014 to all🎉🎊ðŸ‘
  19. Do you mean Z1 Motorsports or Z1auto? Two different shops👀. Both have good reputation and Adam @ Z1 auto is very knowledgeable. I dealt with Adam directly in the past and they did go through a bad patch with delays in filling orders poor costumer service but I think its sorted now. I've bought from Z1 via CZP.
  20. Dealing with drunks and various consequences of irresponsible behavior!!! I guess that's how to start of the New Year for some.
  21. The Drivetrain JWT HD clutch. Should hold 500lbft JWT Lightweight single mass flywheel. Improves response but makes a racket. Not an issue now as the SC and LSD drowns it😠Chromoly clutch pivot ball. The OEM wear down eventually and especially with uprated an clutch Nismo needle pilot bearing. Nismo knows best so who am I to use the brass bearing. Drivetrain ready to revived uprated goodies. All fitted. Uprated the rubber clutch cable with a braided offering. This is Hel's. improve clutch feel and does not go mushy after track abuse. Torque solution gearbox mount bushing compared to OEM Gets rid of sloppiness in gear lever. Changes feel riffle sharp but only negative is the increase in NVH if you care about that. I don't! Refurbing diff and Cusco LSD Voila! Cusco type RS 1 to 2way LSD Within pumpkin Split open to reconfigure plates and diff to 2 way and 60% locking. I don't want to go into the long story of how we wasted for hours to set it as 1.5way only to find out that I had the 1-2way diff. Blame seller!! In any case I love the 2way setup. Enables stable braking into corners and higher entry speed and corner grip and early power on exit! B&M short shifter. Next interior
  22. Nice one lads! Finally Adrian can be useful😠So I take it you have mocked up all the pipes that need re routing and Ifabricate is making them as we speak😜
  23. Would you be interested in 10mm spacers. Brand new with extended bolts for the 20mm?
