  1. Bump! Price reduced to £400 as is or £550 with any powder coat finish of your choice!
  2. Happy b day Dazza, hope you are have a good time with Melisa later😜🙀👀! ðŸ‘ðŸ‘
  3. The best suspension parts money can buy for the zed! How do I know........... My zed is the full catalogue of SPL from arms to solid bushes and the engineering, precision and performance is just mind boggling😎. It's pricey but when I consider for example that I bought 3 front camber arms which all failed after varying track use it would have been cheaper to buy the SPL arm straight up👠GLWTS Chris.
  4. Act your ages and drink responsibly today chaps !! ...............Yes I'm talking to both of you 👀 Happy birthday lads!!! 🎂ðŸŽðŸŽŠðŸŽ‰ :
  5. Just out of interest how much would it cost to do this cage for a customer car with the car fully stripped?
  6. Wish I was flush now as would have take that hatch off you! Hope you are not stripping the rest of the car though👀 GLWTS
  7. Sorry these are not "widely regarded as the best coilovers for the 350z". Couldn't resist👀 Cut your losses, buy cheap sell cheap. GLWTS
  8. Took some pics this am. Did my best with my iPhone👀.
  9. Did mention yesterday that importing one would cost 2k😉😉😉!
  10. The Bosch S5 008 is what I went for. Comes with std 5yrs waranty and a massive upgrade on OEM spec. It's a tight fit but it fits and no mods required.
  11. To get a flush fit with any wheels you nerf to get The ET spot on either by getting the desired ET in the first place or using spacers. So to answer your question, both tyre combo will fit flush with the right spacers. The 5mm/20mm is very aggressive with the 265/295s as I run huge track spec camber. It will be spot on for 245/275 tyres combo. So if you want to keep the 265/295 combo at stock height you will be fine. The issue would arise if you get lowered as it would rub the rear arch. You could mitigate this with: -more -ve camber, -less lowering ideally no more than 20-25mm -smaller 15mm spacers or just rolling the rear arches and be as aggressive or conservative as you want. The spacer route is preferable imho as no matter how careful rolling is it cracks paint and eventually leads to rusting.
  12. +1 However I find the alignment very odd! To start off at the front there is .5 deg difference in caster while the toe/ camber is pretty even and would suggest the front ride height is square since you cannot adjust OEM front camber and caster. The only explanation would be a worn/torn bush at the front and likely the compression bush since it can allow front to back movement if worn which in turn will increase or decrease caster. At the rear the camver disparity is even more baffling as if you could get one side to 2degs or there abouts then why the other side at 4 deg? The only things I can think about as a posible cause is a bent camber arm or failed damper, sagged spring or wrongly installed components or the alignment guys were crap! If everything is equal then that side has to be significantly lower than the other to give twice the difference. Rear bushes do wear/perish or fail but should affect static camber but handling dynamics. Is the car lowered on coilovers or springs. Has it had a bump you know off eg hard kerbing? The eibach arms will restore the difference but it's important to find why. As you rightly said you may have to run > -2.camber both sides to avoid interference but that's not too bad if under 2.5deg At the front -1deg 40-50mins camber is ok Infact the zed can do with more. You will need arms if you want to exploit this but otherwise you are ok. Hope you find the issuesðŸ‘
  13. Hey bro! Longtime! Yes I got lights finally.
  14. I asked myself the same question at Nissan especially as the CD009 was about £1.5k back in 2011-12 when I inquired!
  15. +1 Age and cold kills batteries and I bet you did not leave anything on and this is just the beginning of a very annoying road leading the purchase of a new battery. FWIW I suffered this last year. I got the biggest baddest Bosch battery that could fit and it comes with 5year warranty. I'll urge you to do the same soon.

    MPSS and snow

I surprised that there is any debate here. The long and shot of it is, an ultra high performance summer tyre will not cut it in the snow end off. You can adjust presures to try and increase or decrease contact patch/foot print depending on the type is snow but this makes little difference to overall grip. You may improve traction slightly to get you out of a spot but you are in a world of bother. Dan and doc you are both right if you take into context other factors. Eg in compacted snow/ice a wider foot print will reduce grip significantly as you are coversely reducing presure there traction while in fresh powder snow this will be good for traction. Same theory for driving in dunes. Thinner tyres are better for snow as they exert more pressure which is more important for traction. There more to winter tyres than just the compound but the tread pattern is also important and when all that is said and done the is a limit and then you need chains or studded tyres. Also FWD, AWD or RWD impacts on the cars behaviour however RWD is always fun. My zed became undrivable in the snow once I went from OEM size tyres to 265/295. I couldn't even get up I to my gentle sloped drive in about an inch of compacted snow and the car was just spinning in 2nd gear all by itself
  17. There is no point refurbing the CD008 as will be using the same weak sauce synchros as its not compatible with the CD009 or CD00A synchro. Refurbing the CD009 is a goer but the cost can be up to the tune of £1.5k and over! Hence the used CD009 commanding good residuals. I would be happy to spend £500 on a rebuilt or used a CD009 with sub 50k miles with some sort of guarantee for at least 3 month but not found this yet. Because my car is a keeper and will be running big power again it's imperative to get this right and ultimately a new box maybe the best bet. Wrt the 370 box swap. It is possible and even the HR but the are so many thing to modify and manufacture to make it work that you may as well buy a CD00A. Some one on my 350z looked into using the HR box and took measurements etc but gave up in the end. If money was no object I'll have the Quaife drop in sequential box without even a second thought.ðŸ˜
  18. Fair enough! Here with an old photo. I'll take the car out for a clean and try to do some proper pics but I'm crap and too self conscious!
  19. Not in the first instance but if the buyer for lights does not want them I can take them of and sell to you. Pm an offer so I know if it's worth my time.
  20. Reluctantly selling these lightweight, strong and awesome looking wheels made as a limited edition by Ruff racing. These have dealt with over 300 laps at the Ring, UK trackdays, fast road use and daily driving with no issues at all. All the wheels require minimum balancing weight unlike some cheap aftermarket wheels. Spec: Front- 19x8.5 ET 20 weight 7.85kg Rear- 19x9.5 ET 35 weight 7.95kg All wheels were powdercoated satin black from the original gloss black 6months ago and are all faultless. I have 6 wheels in total(3 front and 3 rear) and the extra two are unmounted. I got the extra wheels as a bit of insurance being limited production wheels in case I bent a wheel on track but this never happened. All the wheels are wrapped in MPS 2 rubber with 4mm tread at least all round but will confirm when measured of the car. Front 255/35/19 Rear 295/35/19. It's a bit aggressive but not an issue with stiff side wall tyres like MPS. Ideal tyres for this size wheels are 245/35/19 and 275/35/19 and this means no arch rolling would be required. If you are on stock height, no spacers or less than 20mm drop on springs or coilovers and with 2-2.5deg -ve camber at the rear the current tyres will fit without rubbing. I'm running spacers both front and rear 5mm and 20mm respectively to get the perfect flush fit (ET 15 all round). These can be sold with the wheels if required. I want £850 for the 6 wheels with or without 4 tyres excluding spacers and delivery. Spacers cost an extra £100 with package or 150 separately. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!SOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm selling because I'm getting light weight 18" wheels to reduce my tyres costs as I will be running R compound tyres this year. Pics:
