Thank goodness I don't have airbags. I knew the bloody things were no goodðŸ˜!!!

While the advice for annual alignment is valid this is an issue due run out. It will be 1 of 4 culprits below and since it coincides with fitting spacers surely this has caused or accentuated the issue. -Brake face: usual a high spot or thickness variation. Rebedding as adviced by Robbo or skimming would be the solution. -Hub face: there could be rust, corrosion or paint between the hub face and the spacer causing runout. It could also be the spacer is not torqued flush. It is always recommended to recheck and torque about a 100-500mls after fitting. - spacer face: if the spacer has been painted or powdercoated it could have runout on the mating surface with your wheel. Also rarely, a cheap spacer can warp if over torqued and produce runout. - wheel face: excessive paint or powder coat can cause run out or the wheel could be in need of re balancing especially if it's bent or buckled slightly. If powdercoated or painted I'll recommend trueing the mating surfaces again before rebalancing. The wheel is probably ok as you did not have this issue before. So rather than assume start again by dismounting everything at the front axle. Clean the hub face with wire brush and protect with copper grease. Check and clean the spacers and torque evenly as specified. Clean the wheel face if any paint or powder coat and torque it down. Make sure you've not lost a wheel weight and test the car. If it's still there then rebalance the wheels. If that fails rebed brakes or take it to a disc skimmer. My feeling is if the judder is mild the rebed can do it if using an aggressive pad but if moderate or violent done waste your time move on to skim. Also check you have not bent your suspension control arms or failed bushing but this is so unlikely as the symptoms with be there not only on braking .

fi guys what exhausts are you running and why
GT4 Zed replied to nissanman312's topic in Forced Induction
No doubt MD is lovely and well built with v-bands but it bordering on loud in NA so maybe too loud for FI but I maybe wrong. I bought one but sold it without fitting and somehow don't regret it. -

Bennett - Bit off topic , but can you confirm that you ran the art pies with your miltek and didn't have much rasp? Cheers for your help Yes no rasp. My exhaust history: 1-OEM = boring 2-Fujitsubo legalis R Titanium + OEM cats+ japspeed y pipe = like Nismo but smaller back box, lighter, alive from 3500rpm, Great exhaust. 3-K1 + japspeed y pipe + Berks HFC = rasp central!!! And loud and drone!!! 4- K1 + Berks + japspeed + DC headers with or without bungs = deafness!!!!!!!! Still drony and raspy!! Note: no bungs loose you power. 5-K1 + Motordyne ART pipe + DC headers + gutted midsection silencer and tail muffler + no bungs = OMG fawking loud 🙀 but almost no rasp and drone. The closest to a V10 at full chat! Banned me from all tracks including the Ring! 115db static at 4500rpm!!! It had to go!! 6-Miltek CBE+ ART+ headers = too quiet but came a bit alive past 3500rpm. Quality welds. This is for the mature zedder 7: invidia Gemini CBE(full true dual system) + headers + ART +/- FI = the best balance of quality, flow and noise. Surprising quality for the price. Just look at the cast flanges. No rasp. No drone. 90-92 db static and 94-86db flyby. Should' be less without headers. I will recommend this all day long. 8- Apexi revolution 2000 exhaust. The one that got away!!! Uber rare exhaust limited production and now discontinued with adjustable sound output through a valve in one tail pipe. Never arrived from the U.S. as FEDEX managed to loose it. I got only the midsection which I never bothered to collect. From rare videos it sounds like a Nismo not unexpected being the OEM design but could be adjusted to be louder or quieter. My feeling is if you have rasp issues then get rid of HFCs and go decats with ART or any copy decats with the resonators like ARK as this is designed to filter the rasp frequency and general produce a clean bass exhaust note. -
All of the above are correct for maintenance of a healthy system. The condenser is the come problem because the main fan is on the driver side and it sucks in all kinds of muck especially plant materials into the area where the condenser is and soon you have a nest of rotting plant matter leaching chemicals onto the vulnerable pipe from the condenser to the rad. It then corrodes and cracks. I was shocked how much material was bidding in there out from view. I filled the AC 3x with dye testing and the leak was no obvious until I bought uv glasses and did a meticulous search at home in the night and found only a small evidence of leak from the condenser area after I had taken the bumper off! The only way to prevent would be to be to remove the bumper and front support assembly to thoroughly clean the rad/condenser recesses every early winter!! It's too tedious to even contemplate so I guess just its replace the rad when it fails and not be stung by garages. The eBay aftermarket ones eg Nilsens fit well and way cheaper than the stealers!!!.

+1 on the invidia. Good quality, flow and sound. I've got headers, ART pipes with it and no rasp but hit pull out from Bedford last year. Was fine on static test (92db IIRC) but fly by was almost 100db. Latter I found the cause to be a large hole on the mid pipe where the hanger had ripped right off. Nothing to do with the exhaust quality but rather the solid urethane exhaust hanger with have no give and so that hanger was acting like a stressed member. Re welded it lower to remove the stress rider and been fine since. -
I saw this recently searching for alternatives(Dz032G, federal FZ-201, yoko AD048-r, kumhoV70a) to the ubiquitous R888 but my tyre sizes are a pain and after much headaches I've settled on get the regular R888😜. I wish the R888r in my sizes where out by mid June but I doubt. Will give DT a buzz. @Dan/zmanalex What compound choice(s) do you recommend considering the zed is from heavy and I'd like to get decent longevity out of this since driving to the Ring hopefully 3-4 trips this year. Secondly have you used the XL rated r888?. The r888 side walls are stiff to start with and so the reinforced XL tyres may be worthwhile. What are your thoughts?

Nice job! Was never a fan if the V3 but this has grown on me big time😎

@Spa1 that's the best advice so far. People make too much of the Ring and even though it deserves its reputation if you observe the basic rules, be relaxed and drive to you ability and you will be fine. This website has every other info you'll ever need. http://www.nurburgring.org.uk/mobile.html

Should a Stillen Air Intake do this ? Seriously ?
GT4 Zed replied to Mudman's topic in Off Topic Discussion
Amazing!! I hit a rabbit once at 60-70mph with my Alpina B3.3 and thought I'd got away lightly but the next day notice one of my fog lights looked weird and on closer inspection the rabbit's head had managed to wedge itself into the fog light smashing through it casing and was cleanly decapitated and not a lot of blood to show for it🙀! -

Wow!!! Sh&t got real indeed!! Can't wait to see this in the flesh when it all back together!!! -
I took out my air con 2yrs ago before going supercharged since the condenser was busted and though I've not really missed it because I hardly used it except on the track were it gets hot sometimes, I really did not feel any "gains" from freeing up parasitic loses from the powertrain. However I think my cooling system is more efficient because of having one less rad in the way but it could also be because I have a 30% bigger rad, higher performance coolant and water wetter, extra 1l oil capacity and oil cooler. Like others have said for a DD keep your AC. Unless 3-5hp is so important to you.

That's a bloody good ideaðŸ‘ðŸ‘! Didn't think of it😉

19 row is too big! That's what I have for my engine oil cooler. Tube and fin designs are better for minimal pressure drop but a bar and fin design will work too just like the stillen but should not be too big. I guess a small 10 row will be fine. Like I said before there's no need to change for change sake. A thermostatic engine oil cooler kit will be a better investment if you just do fast road driving. See below a few of the popular kits you can copy or buy. https://conceptzperformance.com/Cart/description.php?II=3073 https://conceptzperformance.com/Cart/description.php?II=692 https://conceptzperformance.com/Cart/description.php?II=479

Which mishimoto cooler? You can and should consider upgrading the PAS cooler especially if you do have larger front tyres than stock, do heavy track days or drifting. But you don't a very large cooler that will cause a larger pressure drop and also overwork the pump. I went for the nismo cooler which is plug and play.

I have a pair of 10mm spacers with extended wheel nuts in very good condition that I would swap for 25mm spacers in good condition.

Had a wonderful day a shelsey Walsh today and all I can say is wow!! First off Andy did a fantastic time in his class and even in comparison to the NA bike engined single seater cars!!! Andy was sure footed and very clean and I can see him going even faster with more aggression and an LSD to complement an awesome zed. The sound was lovely and everyone were I was seating commented about the car and I was so proud. AJ you are a hero in my book any day!! It's a shame I couldn't find the rest of you guys but looking at your pics you were way down the course. I sat in the podium perched at the top were you could see the cars coming up the hill and through the esseses before disappearing to the finish straight. The FI single seaters where just plane and simply mental and some of these guys can effing drive!!!!! There was a black car that did a 26xxsec run and was the leading time by the time I left and seeing this guy carve through the climb at full chat was just perfection and awe. If you have not been to a climb event before please do, it's just a different type of fun and skill. -

Looks like you guys had fun👠Lovely pics and feedback. +1 on the sighting lap with the Van and also getting on track later in the morning to avoid damp patches. I do this or get feedback from the locals to know when the coast is clear for maximum attack!
