  1. Hi mate, i'm after the plastic trim on the passenger side of the rear strut brace. how much? i can send you a pic of this if you want. Would you have the upper rubber door weather strips(NS and OS)? mind have deteriorated and now let in wind noice to drive me nuts cheers
  2. Hi mate, i have been there i did this conversion and it works but is impractical as i will explain. i left the oem xenon unchanged but converted the H7 high beam light with a 6000k kit complete with ballast, xenon bulbs and loom and it was a straight forward conversion. However because you ususally flash on and off you headlight it never gets up to temp and hence the poor light. unless you put it on and drive, blinding everyone in your path it will be useless. Secondly the xenon bulbs longevity will be markedly reduced with this kind of usage. The only solution is to buy the 06+ bi-xenon light set which is not cheap. there is a single xenon bulb which has a shutter operated by a solenoid that allows or prevents more light through producing you dipped or high beam My solution was to get 7500K rated 80W H7 bulbs and replace oem ones and it looks like xenons and very bright. they are not for road use apparently As LED conversion of the parking lights completes the look
  3. Any takers? i will be making discounts for purchased between now and sunday before i list them on fleabay

  9. I was about to commision a custom 3" exhaust system(Race HFC and y-pipe) to match my 3" Fujitsubo legalis y-pipe back exhaust from this custom race exhaust specialist who does all the custom work on evos, scooby, skylines, hondas and also BMW and Audi etc for Alan jeffery engineering in the southwest. He has built a full system (headers back) for a zed with an APS TT Kit so knows what is required for maximum gains sound and durability. Unlike your "joe welder" he trained to do this and builds all his systems from scratch including resonators , mufflers/back boxes etc from T304 stainless steel or high grade where applicable and mandrel bends. Same goes for the flanges, flexipipes and particularly the pre-ordered 100 or 200 cell metal substrate race HFC which are of highest quality. He had quoted £330 for the full 3" y-pipe and £400 for 100 cell race cats (2.5" in and 3" out) but he feels this is an overkill in NA tune, since these HFC's can flow at 99% the flow of a similar sized test pipe and as such maximum gains will be achieved irrespective of it being 2.5" or 3". They will also pass the MOT unlike test pipes thumbs: He has instead proposed making the HFC (2.5" in and out) and the two y-pipe collectors 2.5" into a 3" just like most popular after market kits. In this configuration the y-pipe will cost £275 and the HFC £375 with a 2 year gaurantee However with a decent group buy of at least 3-5 people he will consider less that above as an introductory offer So i am looking for interested takers I will start a list in the following post Note: Personally now, i will order only the custom 100 cell race HFC which is very competitive at that price and but get a K-1 y-pipe from CS or directly from Japspeed at £189 delivered as the only reason i was going to get a custom bullt y-pipe was to match 3" throughout which is an overkill as I now know
  10. So glad for you Steve just saw this now see you on the 28th hopefully m8
  11. The chap who runs R-tune Zed meet in Adenau near the Ring runs 19" no problems and i have an offer i can't refuse for a set MPS cup tyres with come in 19" Would you be getting the new zed today?
  12. If you must know, i am focusing on the Mods that are more important to achieving my Nurburgring targets when i go back in july. Cosmetics would have to wait for later! To this effect i need to start raising extra cash for : -2 piece brake kit and track pads -Coilovers and ARB -Custom 3" all through down pipe (100cell cats) and y- pipe. Should get this on tuesday comming week (To complement the fujitsubo) - 19" wheels + MPS cup tyres ( Possibly Dotz mugello wheels) I would consider P/X for any above in decent condition plus cash either way. Been toying with selling my Black heated seats for racing buckets if someone wants them
