    .

Really nice zed mate . Pity it has to go I would be interested in the suspension bits if you choose to sell the dcar as standard Goodluck with the sale
  6. NO Steve NO!! Hang in there mate there is bound to be something round the corner
  7. No need to panic chicken you will be fine mate. don't be distracted by the snake It all about planning, planning and budgetary limitation. IMHO £700 quids will be more than fine Since its your first road trip keep the itinenary simple eg Brum-dover-calais-belgium- holand(Amsterdam)- belgium- calais-dover-brum. decide what you want to see or visit( Jixaman's proposed Belgian jaunt is exciting, but Amsterdam is a must). You can book you hotels or B&B beforehand or get a deal when you get there from asking around(that's what i do...more exciting and alweays get cheap deal in really good hotels/B&. decide how much you need on food/booze/etc and fuel based on your itinenary. Make sure you have a good sat nav(Nurrish's or tom-tom) to avoid unnecessary detours and go through your checklist for all things you might need travelling abroad. this site as mentioned covers everything. http://www.theaa.com/motoring_advice/ov ... pment.html Get the zed in good shape, check/inform your insurance, Tracker provider and breakdown cover and have a contingency plan(contacts, credit cards etc) in case something goes wrong but i doubt it will. But oserve all precaustions as you would whne going someplace you are not familiar with Finally relax and have fun and enjoy the food , vista and the GT capability of the zed . Give me a call if you have any other querries mate
  8. Sneaky, it looks like you are back to your old ways of puting cosmetics before performance very different look now and i'm also not sure but i think this will change if you paint it black to match the rest of the two tone effect I would consider smoothing off the front duct as that is what IMO seems to kill the feng-shui of the whole bonnet design and look of you beautiful Zed Anycase its is what pleases you that counts
  9. Personally, now that we have the availability of Uprev remap here i think this is the way to go rather than the expensive route of FI. I will go this route (Manifolds + HFC/decats) myself and also considering strongly to go for cams. Combine this with lighthenned pulleys/clutch/flywheel and 3.9+ final drive it will be one uber responsive zed:thumbs: For the ultimate NA build a stroker kit will need to come into play One should see a safe useable 350+WHP with this setup looking at the US boys but any further is into race spec engines when you have to spend big bucks and consider whether its not wotrth going FI though i think it still comes in cheaper than a full forged FI build
  10. They are genuine Nissan 370Z repeaters. that is really something to get one of these so soon
  11. Stunning Zed and a very good execution in style and good taste Keep it up mate and keep us enthralled with you writing. I particularly like the touch with the zed side repeaters. Are these from the uk?
  12. Hey Adrian, I have toyed with this idea too but i can assure you that its not viable for everyday road use:thumbdown I have just found some cheapish used sparco ones which i switch only when going on trackdays. all i need is to sort out how to install the harness and also to sort out any issues with the seat rails/subframe The other option is to get a reclining seat "race" to upgrade the OEM ones and you can pair this with a harness which is pretty much ok for trackdays except for competition. the chioce is endless, leather, alcantatra, heated, non-heated, carbon/ backed or kevlar or both etc Recaros or Brides do it for me anytime but they cost a few bob:blush:
  13. Steve can't believe you are selling these and for such a giveaway It in mint condition and the dog's danglies Someone is going to be very very happy If i had completed my performance mods i'll be snaping your fingers for these good luck with the sale
  14. Hi Ian, careful with sneaky snake, he could turn you into a mod and fit you on his zed at the rate he is going
  15. chicken Ian I knew the noise would get to u! Fine excuse though BTW we made the local paper in Leicester
  16. Dave you are nuts if i did not know that the wheels where in very good condition i'd think you are getting rid of a dud Someone snap this deal up quick before i make him change his mind Nice avatar
  17. send me a text or something if you do come to the carpark, i wanna hear this armageddon i could finally give you ya socket wrench back too Ok you asked for it
  18. I had the same problem with my local "wildlife" and sorted it by putting on the ones that spin round unless you have the key
  19. or he just took the corner to fast and slid into the farmers field nice pics though My thoughts exactly Nice zed and scenery
  20. Thats what i was thinking or he's maybe running a summer tyre Take it easy mate and get this check. also check pressures
  21. This is amongst the best pics of a zed. Red is so and rare. i love it Need lowering without a shadow if a doubt as the new wheels make it obvious. Apart from that no other exterior mode require i saw one a while ago with a nismo kit and looked OTT. Nice car nice skills Ross.

    HR bonnet

I was just wondering if the HR bonnet with the power bulge will accommodate OEM strut brace if MD 1/2" plenum spacer fitted ? i wanted this rather than the 5/16" spacer for max gains but don't want to loss the strut brace. I have been looking for the APS angled brace but it seems out of stock every were Anyone tried this combo? or any ideas where i can find the APS brace
