  3. No they are same size as brembo but two peice PF or DBA only make the front kits but Stoptech do front and rear oem-size 2 piece items like these
  4. Zedfest should be fine will look in my diary and give you confirmation Lee just noticed Zedfest is 20th - 22nd August That is too far mate Any other meet before then? Or i may just drive to you and swap . Where are you based exactly?
  5. Comming along nicely Ian So from what i gather you will be fitting everything apart from the injectors and stage 0 kit Why so? Its not particularly difficult and ......................if Dave could install a stage i kit(apart from using jubilee clips ) then you can This is just on step after taking the plenum collector before fitting the Cosworth Will save you downtime and money me thinks keep the build pics comming
  6. It is easy to do a BCDK DIY with stuff from halfords but it will not do the job as you need the end connector cone peice to cover wider surface area. See below I looked into this and the hard part is getting the hose to connect to near the brake disk. That's why i spoke to RJN because theirs has the collecting duct at the front bumper and a funnel-shaped cone at he brake end of the hose to dissipate the heat unlike the stillen kit. Bennet, do you have any more pics of the disk end of the connection? No, these were all from Stillen's site Other examples below: example of SS cone at the left of pic Double ducts 5zigen 350z cooling duct(for oem size disc) Nice
  7. I can't believe it My medicine-man told me i was guaranteed to win Looks like coercion pays.........................................Andlid
  8. I have been looking to get a 350z specific brake cooling duct kit for some time now and just mentioned it to the lads at RJN Nissan while snooping for something else They used to have these as an off-the-shelf part but since their focus is on the 370z now may be made on order as thre might be any left? They would favour a group buy obviously and this will significantly reduce cost per item;) See the Stillen BCDK for illustration only(This costs about £150) I will be speaking to the right man(neil or Rob) on Tuesday as he is involved in racing around the country this long weekend . Should be able to get prices, ease of DIY etc then . Stick your name below if you are interested: 1. GT4 Zed
  9. My other half and i have voted for the.................................. green goblin Sorry ol' chap Dave you are tooooooooooooooo far behind now
  10. Shame about the incident Gav but it will polish out easy I always knew rosser can drive On a serious note the damage is minimal and i reckon the fixing at the side of the bumper have moved/bent or pop out and will be sorted easily. looks like the chip is just partial thickness and some filling and paintig will give you a nice shinny result with all stone chips sorted However i suspect because you are using the insurance they will just swap the bumper for a new one
  11. Thanks James for tidying this thread again
  12. Lovely motor The carbon fang cover is lush
  13. Thanks James for cleaning this up again
  14. i am not really sure about this Rich as i think a while ago when i was siffing around the GTROC for an R34 there was someone who had an issue with this i may recall it was retractable but past 70mph it would flex inwards completely horizontal and therefore the plate could not be seen The argument was if its not to break the law why do you have it The same argument goes for sitting in your car at the drivers seat on your driveway with no key in the ignition(in the house even) but you just happen to be over the limit You would be done for drink driving still its all about percieved intent mate

Good eye for detail mate i did it on purpose to save the frontlip. (~25mm vs 35mm) I will raise the rear to 25mm when doing my geometry before leaving for the Ring in May
  19. Because life without risk is boring and because i have been in the game long enough to know what i need to to achieve set goals when modding i feel really bad you got stung but there are always ways of making sure you get what you are paying for secondly i do aggree that not every thing can be bought used i just felt you where slating my suggestion, which is only that and at the end of the day Rob will do what Rob needs to do but as he posted was open to imputs and ideas. Anyway i see your angle especially with what you have been through and take no further offence Hope you see where i was comming from too ol' chap

doesn't longer overhang = more weight = bad for performance? Or are you hoping for extra downforce? this stuff hardly weighs at all and the downforce trade off will be more Hope you are planning a proper splitter at the front to even out the extra downforce at the rear Chris you are always on the all you Not really doing much to the front as the veilside V1 lip is enough and the weight bais is to the front anyway so need more at the back which has lost all the sound deadenning, thick carpet, tools/jack, spare wheel, factory back box and tonneau. (I reckon at leat 30-40 kgs lost) It is probably why despite all attempts at getting a fully neutral setup i always have a liftoff oversteer in tight corners or rear squirm on hard braking especially in the wet which makes for and lively drive At least its progresive now and predictable so more downforce
  21. When did genuine used parts become cheapo parts? Are we talking the samething here? who are you trying to impress Why would I try to impress? I don't really care what people think - if I did then a lot of the parts on my car wouldn't be there I just buy what I can afford Who said anything about used parts But on the subject of used parts there are somethings that I would buy & have bought second hand even though I got stung on one occassion but things like engine internals & superchargers/turbos I would only ever buy new Just like you bought the zed new My point was buying used is not necesarily buying cheap. Some people have valid reasons to do so and i would call them cheap or bodgers like you insinuated
