Hi pips, just came across this and just thought of all the after kerbing your prize alloys. You can actually use it as an enhancement or to cover up already kerbed rims too! They are cheap and easy to fit so for our show friends you can always change color schemes website: http://alloygator.co.uk Videos: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pDoqwkld6jU There is another company based in NZ who do a similar poduct but with no branches in Uk website: http://www.rimpro-tec.co.nz http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B1doK1nsPqY

Yup Oliver you are spot on with that tip TBH there are about 4-5 exposed connectors to worry about especially the MAF socket so wrapping them with foil is easy. Then pre-soak with a degreasant ( i use the eco engine gunk stuff from halfords) then shakeoff the gunk with a soft brush before powerwash. I let the engine drip dry and later let the car iddle until all the residual water evaporates. The use liquid plastic trim polish on all the plastic stuff and thats me done. I guess if you want to do the metallic bits then somewhere between the degreasing and hosing down you will to scrub/polish/sand the metallic bits but i don't Don'ts: - Hose a hot engine. - Leave the battery cover or fuse cover open when washing - Forget to remove the cling film before driving off.( i got some stuck withn the belts and it was a pain to remove - Don't over do it unless it for shows. I think quarterly is fine Usually when something is wrong with restarting the car it is usually water in the MAF socket. Just unclip it and dry with towels, blow it with air or hairdryer and it should fix the prob.

Back from coventry last night in my peuguot 308 and spotted this GM or BS on the northbound M42 around J3a. Anyone here? Infact lately i have been seeing so many zeds in or around worcester and when i'm not driving mine i even think one of them is turbo'ed as i'm sure, i heard BOVs whistle/hiss

Is the car driving Ok still or in limp mode? what about the light? is it constant or flickering all the time? when did it come on or rather what were you doing when it came on? As said before it could be anything but if the car is driving k and the light is constant then is usually nothing serious just a temp malfunction or glitch! did you put the millitek when you bought it or it came with it? Get the error code(s) when you go to Nissan

Nice of the previous owner to leave some good mods in there for you I had this setup amongst other things! however you need an Uprev ECU reflash or a piggyback ECU to get the best of all these goodies No pics equals -
Well done Prash That must have been a giant leap in modding for you Whats next?
-
In that case a pop charger intake and K1 exhaust will take care of the sound track and then a remap or D1 throttle controller will give the car an edge

No mate . The Stillen cost £150 and looks like DIY. I am hoping that RJN can do this for well less especially if there was a GB Looks like Zmanalex has made one for his zed. Just hope he will post up some pics of the setup and where to get the parts and a DIY guide. I have seen the ducting and inlet ring in ebay for 11 quid but not with the inlet trumpet which is the most important bit http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0428023301 If RJN does not come through or too expensive, I might ask someone to make one for me out of SS. i just need to have a look at the back of the wheel hub area and design something

Without a shadow of a doubt yes ..........................and i'm not biased Whatever zed you buy will be fun and i have been through alot of performance cars Modifying them to the magic +300bhp is relatively easy and there are many known routes to achieve this. you can buy a +2007 HR engine which has over 300BHP but where is the fun and exclusivity First and foremost it comes down to budget Fundamentally you can go NA or FI(Turbo or SC ) For NA the max would be 310-320FWHP with bolt-ons and remap unless you want to spend big money and get a stroker kit, wild cams, top end work etc FI the sky and your budget is the limit and a few people are taking this on as we speak I have made 270WHP(316FWHP) in NA trim using - Turbo XS Utec piggyback ECU(currently for sale) - Berk HFC(sold) - Japspeed y-pipe and K1 exhaust - Motordyne MREV2(sold)and Plenum spacer - AEM induction kit(sold) But you can i could have used the Uprev ECU remap too to achieve the same results . Headers do give small gains but due to the high cost of fitting and relative purchase cost for decent ones it not worth the trouble. See this link of what people have done to get results to have afeel for NA tuning. viewtopic.php?f=25&t=24431 At the end of the day it all comes down to what you want your car to do and how you intend to use it! My GT4 is track oriented and the biggest mods have been in the suspension and brakes department and that is worth a lot of HP i am selling all my performance mods all focus on improving the endurance for track work and i will be happy because unless i go FI it will never be powerful enough. This is just my conclusion after going nearly full circle in my pursuit to improve my zed.

Husky has some finichi's but is so lazy to post it up for sale They have deep dish both front and rear

Front left....... looking at the car or while in it? It is a good idea to follow and keep an eye on all powersteering and oil level. The powersteering cooler connectors has a tendercy to weep/leak everso slightly but not enough to do anything about it I changed the fluid completely a few months ago and the level is unchanged and I never had to top-up in one year of ownership! There is a very small oil patch on the engine cover below and slight weep around the hose connector to the powersteering cooler again though which i had cleaned when i did the fluid change You may be having the same issue
