  1. Why change a winning team Lacquer it the same way Just get full coverage as i think i can see the finish on the inside is a bit dodgy Good work and effort Loving the choice of colour
  2. I'm nothing but... tanks for the offer you're crazy mate Anyone of you guys have vid equipment to film this event? I got onboard video only and its pointing forwards
  3. Chicken No worries mate
  4. Common guys last call this weekend Sofar only three confirmed and one maybe from the earlier confirmed list Going -GT4 Zed -Anubis -Sleg (will meet us in the Ring as he is travelling earlier with other friends) Maybe -Rob-hughes (lives in Germany and might join us if he can peel himself from some other commitments) -Zedjohn (Possible clash of dates but yet to confirm) - Glenn1981(I am yet to get a final confirmation) -Anubis (Really thinking about it!!) Not going -Captain (can't make it - other commitments) -ThomaSoerenson (Can't make it- Clash of dates) There are 2 more interested persons at present who i can't name yet. They are just sorting out themselves to see if they can make it happen. I hope they can, for the more the merrier
  5. Excellent result Steve TLMS will only grow from strenght to strenght PS: I am surprised you don't find the need for brake duct cooling I am trying to get a kit from RJN
  6. Its a good price but you can pay £40-£45 per wheel to powdercoat the wheels and get the handles painted together with ?roof ?mirrors etc as a job lot for about the same or less . The point i want to make is that PC is far more durable than painting and so its worth considering
  7. Have you thought of getting a single lenght 90deg silicone tube of same diameter to relocate the intake out infront of the rad using a longer slender cone filter just like the injen CAI? It should be more efficient i think. Seen a few with the vortech guys. Think Nurrish has got this now as the vorteck intake looks equally squashed
  8. Black is beatiful but a hassle to keep especially with volcanic ash everywhere If i have to choose again it will be azure or gun metal Goodluck! You will quickly find what you are after and then you can start to really focus on mods etc No end of options and helpful guidance here
  9. Make sure you put a generous amount of copper grease. Come to think of it, I would acute sand off the corrosion and rust and give the whole calliper a clean since the whole brake i8s exposed
  10. I'm sure Abbey can fit it for you easy! Or stick it on Ebay it should sell pronto to the turbo crowd if you can't be asked
  11. Nice I looks like it is painted kuro or is it my sight fooling me I was going to say leave it as such to match the other black bits
  12. Then use the oportunity to go with aftermarket uprated bushes not only it will transform the ride, they are very durable I have these firmly on my sights together with the subframe rear bushes;) A full set of white line bushes for both front and rear cost about $300 from Adam @ Z-1 and takes 6-10 days to come! http://www.z1auto.com/prodmore.asp?mode ... rodid=3783 http://www.z1auto.com/prodmore.asp?mode ... rodid=4573
  13. Surely when you have such play its an issue with worn bushes rather than the arm unless it is bent I will be very concerned by thius fleeting diagnosis and get a second opinion! PM R35LEE or Zmanalex and they can help with further opinions and also getting the parts (new or used) cheaply
  14. Top notch Hands down one of the very best adverts i have ever seen
  15. Since installing my Utec piggy back i have more noticeable pops and bangs on overun too and just reminds me of my cerbera It just so race car like and i love it
  16. Then you need to see this This would have been my prefered route to monitor everything if i went FI(sc) It keeps things tidy and way cool than multiple guages sprouting from evreywhere Also its a scan tool, datalogger plus much more. Just download the free Revlite app(one of 4 or so webapp that support PLX kiwi) and see the amazing functionality you can get with this FI guys check out their main website for other cool stuff and solutions: http://www.plxdevices.com/ or their UK/europe site for quicker purchase: http://www.plxdevices.co.uk/product/dis ... 200OBD.php http://www.plxdevices.de/product/eco/kiwiwifi.php
  17. It would be interesting to know though my attitude has always been to enjoy myself and disregard mpg if you arte worried about mpg then you got the wrong car! same as contemplating between shell 99 and 95RON fuel I use CC only on the average speed camera areas but i suspect it will be more efficient
  18. it reminds me of this : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=grb079bY-Gc Seriously it would be fine it youtook up my offer as its fun to go with someone. though i am used going alone and then hook up with my german pals. Driving on the Ring is ok if you use your head and stay within your comfort zone. Also if you are with someone who knows their way around and with coaching it will not an issue For you it is an opportunity to familiarise yourself without fear so on subsequent trips you know what its all about and how to prepare in consequence, youself, the car etc. By the time we get there i would have formed an impresion of you abilities anyway As for wear and tear that will happen on my own anyway so extra laps will it makes little difference over a weekend
  19. Yup aero retro fit wipers are the business better than OEM style PIAA wipers. I have used both The Bosch ones are the best, but i now get a full set of 3(2 front and 1 rear) from Autobulb direct(ABD) for £20 and they are unbranded Bosch as they told me in confidence and i have no reason to disaggree because it looks the same, performs the same and last the same and they sell both brands so they have no reason to flaunt the slightly cheaper ABD item for the Bosch I have tried the el cheapo ebay stuff and you get what you pay for I even tried sparco branded ones and though they were ok performance wise they lasted only half as long and rusted in about 3 months. (i change my wipers every 4 months for optimum cleaning performance and it is recommended to do so at least twice a year)
  20. tempted you should be chomping at the bits. Weather will be good mate. I'm never concerned about that Ok how about this for the ultimate proposal? get a cheap return flight to Birmingham. i pick you up and we head together to Nurburg We then fifty the costs and also you can drive my car at the ring so far as i am passenger You share will cost you about £4-600 including 25 laps for you to drive! Just think of the free tuition you will get Priceless and the fact that all the wear and tear cost are going to be borne by me (tyres, brakes and service when i return to UK)!!! By yourself you will be looking at about £900 based on 25 laps minus eventual wear and tear cost
