To be fair to them (done it 4 times now with Admiral/Elephant), they normally see you have done a new quote and honour it straight up without any prompt. Push for free extras like breakdown if you dont already have them, they can normally bolt them on for free I have been with bell now for 3 years and they keep giving me ridiculous renewal quotes (ie this year was £1300) so i just go on to their website, re-quote myself (comes in at £600) and they instantly honour the new price...funny how they just sit back and expect you to pay the massive renewal eh?

I don't think its really acceptable behaviour for the open road, and I don't think "he knows what he's doing so its ok" really cuts it, its the same as a trained marksman going into a street and randomly opening fire just because he is good doesn't mean he wont kill somebody. I'm not saying i've never done anything wreck less in the zed, of course I have I'm only human but i've never filmed it and put it on youtube to show the world how much of a tool i was being, especially showing my face and reg plate..what a total f*nny, he deserves to be arrested just for that! Just been over my dads MR2 with my new DA Polisher, no before pics but the paint was very dull, swirly, scratched and oxidised in places. Gave her a quick coat of coly as well. Turned up not bad, only thing was there are a certain areas on the car where the paint was right down to the plastic anyway but not much I can do about it. R

You should consider a full vinyl wrap, you can have any colour under the sun and if you don't like it then have it removed. Plus it wont devalue your car. I was getting quotes of around £1000 for a full wrap. R

Well you say that but I've just spent the weekend getting rid of the oxidized paint on my dads mr2 and we had use the power gloss a fair bit , Don't see me ever using it on the zed though. R
