  1. We did pay someone to paint the bedrooms for us,but after a couple of weeks,we started to notice loads of stuff wrong with it,and it was £600 to paint 2 bedrooms! He quoted us £800 to do what we are doing next week in the living room, and im doing the kitchen too.
  2. ^^^^ Thanks alot, that helps,i need as as many tips as possible. Id call my dad,but after 5 minutes il be switched off after hes gone on and on and on.
  3. Employ a professional DIY... wash walls with sugar soap 1st, then paint once dry.... Thats what i was wondering if i needed to do. Also need to flat and fill walls to tidy them up abit,or do most people not bother?
  4. I need to decorate the downstairs of our house,iv never done it before, and was wondering if i have to clean all the walls down first before I start,or if i can just paint over them as is. Im going for totally different colours. Any hints or tips would be well received also.
  5. Awesome choice of colour, and welcome. I picked my Azure up just over a week ago,and love it.

    New Machine

Yes sorry, you dont buy a car like that if your worried about fuel consumption.
  8. Im guessing that it will improve the throttle response, the standard intake position is pants. I was looking at doing something similar to get cool air to my pop charger. As for the rain getting in,i dont think thats a major worry,as it will be going through a bend and up to the filter, even under full throttle,i think that the water would hit the wall of the pipe and evaporate. The filter will block any water anyway.

    B pillar trim

I dont need the B pillar trim, just the white plastic lug that the trim sits into. Or is it not possible to get these?

    New Machine

My mate did the same thing, and upgraded to an E92 M3,and its stunning. Its dark blue (Interlargos i think) with black wheels. Its amazingly fast, and sound great, though not in the traditional V8 sense, its much more mechanical as you said, and higher revving. (I prefer the Merc V8 for sound). Good luck with the fuel,on a run from Brackley to Goodwood,we averaged 19mpg,and that was cruising most of the way on dual carriageway and motorway. We filled up as he picked me up,and as he dropped me off,he filled up again. But then you buy cars like that for the fuel consumption, good on you.

Well the sleeving didnt last that long, and it popped back out after an hour, abit gutting really. Il have a look at using some more, but with super glue or something. Im determined to get it to work.

    B pillar trim

Well just sorted it,i found some small dia sleeving, and pushed that over the lug,and now its fixed! All nice and secure.
  16. My drivers B pillar trim does not want to stay on at the top,and always pops off. I can press it in,and it clicks, then as soon as you release, its pops off. The other clips are secure, and the other side is fine. Its really:bang: Do i need a new B pillar cover,or shall I just super glue it in? I cant see anything different on one side to the other. HELP
  17. Yes thats the one. This is what im after, but not sure if it fits the UK car.http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NISSAN-350Z-IMPORT-3-5-V6-2003-NEARSIDE-REAR-INDICATOR-/280545222846?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4151cc60be#ht_1161wt_913
  18. Im after a rear lense for the back bumper,so that it is symmetrical (The one for reversing, foglight etc) I cant remember what side was replaced,or who made them. Can anyone help?
  19. So you managed to get them results just by using Lime Prime,no other cutting compound? Looks stunning.
  20. The noise alone is worth that! Well done on that one,i hadnt actually thought of it that way.
  21. What one did you do,and what one are you looking at doing?
  22. Iv been looking at having some time with a pro regarding the driving and handling of my newly acquired Zed. Iv just had a look at RideDrive.co.uk,and was wondering what other people have done, and what course would be most suitable for me. Im in Brackley Northants, but can travel abit. Just want to learn the limits and how to control the car on them. This is my first RWD car,its also the fastest iv ever owned. Suggestions welcome.
  23. Forgot to mention that on the trip back from Essex i averaged 32mpg,thats on the m25+m1,through roadworks and cruising at 80 the rest of the time. (Apart from through tunnels full throttle, which were amazing in 3rd gear)
  24. Iv recently undertaken the ownership of a Zed as a daily driver,my trip to work is 30 miles each way. Did the trip the otherday and averaged 25mpg. Thats on dual carriageway and A road.
  25. I actually really like the 4dr STI,i think it looks alot better than the hatch crap we get here, same as the 4dr CTR that we dont get! The bonnet vent on that concept looks very much Ferrari 550/575. For a scooby,it looks pretty good i think, but agree it looks like a Celica. Not a bad thing though,as that is a pretty cool car,and it hasnt aged that much, and been out a long time.
