    New badge fitted

Cool badge, any links for where you got it from? Looks like something has hit the top of your one,if it wernt there when you fitted it. It looks really good.
  2. Very true, but just to be abit original not to mention the cost of a 997 GT3 RS. A supercharged 350,stripped and caged would be a good proposition.
  3. I doubt it would do much to effect the handling of the car, unless you went for a flat undertray/floor under the entire car. With all the bits and bobs under the car exposed, the air would be way too turbulent to be cleaned up with a simple lil bolt on diffuser. I could ask an aero guy at work, but i think i know what he will say.
  4. Or a stripped,caged and supercharged 350z.......
  5. Yes they do use the civic engine,in 2 states of tune i think, one supercharged, one not. Did you ever see the price of the V8 Atom? I think it was stupidly high, like £100k or something. Would be immense round a track though.
  6. I thought these had been around for a while, saw one parked up in Banbury earlier in the year, was an awesome looking thing. Cant imagine much being quicker,it must fly. Sorry, didnt want to stamp on your thread, just was just being informative.
  7. +1 voted for you chap. The others look Ralph Lauren (Big Pony)
  8. Iv had some of that freeze spray for ages, its great fun,but not that useful i found. Better for scaring the @*!# out of people when you spray it on their finger! lol
  9. I know this feeling, its awesome to know how much safer overtaking is now in a powerful car. Makes me smile, but thats after pretty much any drive,i love it to bits. PLus you treat other road users to a beautiful noise that would be otherwise absent from their lives!
  10. Had a read of Evo earlier, and saw the advert for the 370z,and how much quicker it is than the opposition. Noticed that it has built in side repeaters in the Z badge. Can these be fitted easily to a 350z? Obviously the old holes for the repeaters need filling etc,but thought it would be a cool mod to have.
  11. A good friend of mine is working on the design of the new Mini Countryman WRC car at Prodrive. Its all built and being tested. But i saw one at Goodwood, and have to say it looks much better in the metal than in pics, though not exactly a pretty car. The Mini Coupe,i would sell most of my internal organs for, looks stunning. I hope they build it based on a 1 series platform, and not the FWD Mini one,but I doubt that will ever happen.
  12. Looks like the older pre facelift version, not the twin turbo version that the Evo review is for. Must still be a fast car though.
  13. Here is a useful guide http://www.evo.co.uk/carreviews/evocarr ... cl600.html
  14. My mums husband has just bought a CL500,and although im not keen on the wood interior, its not as bad as it looks in the pictures. The one thing that does concern me with the advert,is the lack of service book,as you have no proof that all the receipts are for that car. It will be very thirsty,my mums husband get 23-25mpg on a long run,and thats the 500 with 7 speed box. Makesure that everything works,as if there is a problem,it will be expensive to fix. Parts will be expensive too, tyres, brakes etc. Will be amazing to own though, stupidly quiet, refined and effortlessly fast. Just dont expect a sports car.
  15. I can confirm 100% that the front wings that Red Bull ran in Spa,are exactly the same ones that ran in Hungary, except the one that Vet had on after his shunt with Button, which didnt run in Hungary, but was to the same spec as the others that did. I think that for Mark to win the championship this year, would be awesome,as he has been around a long time, and has always put 100% in. Vettel will win the championship at some point, but hes doing a good job of screwing it up this year, and needs to buck up his ideas. As for the floor test,I can tell you that nobody at the factory is worried about it,same as the front wing test. We know what our car does, and doesnt do. Its just a shame that Whitmarsh just wants to spend more time moaning about what he hasnt got on his car, instead of trying to work out how to apply it to his car. We are all prepared to have a good hiding in Monza next weekend, but we should be in a strong position for the races after that,we feel (on the shop floor) that the championship is ours to loose. Today we had Mr Mateschitz come round with Dr Marko and Christian, was a really nice guy,and even signed my Autocourse F1 book for me with a personal message, was a very good day.

    MOT testing

Your probably right, just wanted to makesure,as i dont want it going wrong.

    MOT testing

Thats great, but Abbey is miles away from me! Has anyone heard of the specific testing for rear brakes on the Z?

    MOT testing

Im due an MOT on the Zed,but im abit worried about where to take it,as im sure id read somewhere that you have to test the rear brakes differently in the Zed (not on rollers) otherwise you screw the LSD up,is this true? If so how do I avoid taking it somewhere that does do it wrong?
  19. On the way home from work yesterday, saw a black 370Z going from Buckingham towards MK on the A421 at around 5.50-6pm. Was very friendly driver, and we flashed each other.
  20. I think that Vettel was abit angry, but he was trying hard, needed to get past Button, hit a damp patch, lost control and was just as much a passenger as Button was. He was also past the Force India when it hit the back of Vettel,it was just a very bad day for him. It was an amazing race, really exciting and gripping all the way till the end, despite the bad showing from Vettel,I think we would be very happy with finishing 2nd at a track we thought we would get trounced at.

    JAE Show

Does anyone know if we can organise a stand there next year,i think it would be good for the club.

    My Zed

Sorry but im flat out this weekend, got Hospitality tickets to The BTCC at silverstone, and got friends staying over. If I hadnt,i would have gladly spent Saturday cleaning it and giving it a nice coat of wax. But thank you for the offer.

    My Zed

Well iv had the car for 2 weeks now,and gone though nearly 3 tanks of fuel. Its amazing to drive, and i love it to bits. There are a few bits that need addressing, like the A pillar cover that has a crack in it,but overall its amazing. Im just gutted that the weather has been so poor,or I have been too busy to give it a proper clean and wax. Iv got some Dodo Juice Blue Velvet Pro that im itching to put on also, but its raining. Its looking abit sorry for itself at the moment. I go back to work Monday after the 2 week factory shut down, and i just hope i can get her clean before then.
