  1. Im on lates this week,so dont get to see the mrs. Spoke to her earlier, and she said she had signed us up for Talk Talk home broadband and phone line! Im wondering what people think of Talk Talk. I heard alot of band things a few years ago,but dont know what they are like now. We are currently paying just over £20 a month, with the BB being with O2 (i have my mobile with them) and our phone line being with BT. Talk Talk is £17 a month, and they pay any canceling fees etc. Not really keen on changing TBH,as i think what we have now is fine,BB is fast, and phone we hardly use.
  2. Saw an Azure today with what looked like a Veilside front bumper. Possibly a lady driving, with a pinkish baseball cap, heading from Bletchley to the A5 peanut roundabout/Caldecote
  3. I have one of these, awesome watch. Just makesure that you get it serviced every 3 years,as mine has started to loose abit of time, and stop randomly for no reason. Did you go for the Automatic,or the quartz?
  4. Sorry about the poor pics, was taken on my phone.
  5. Well, its all built up,ready for the launch!
  6. Yeah i cant wait to see it in the flesh, will be awesome. They are also planning on doing pit stop challenges with pit girls in clubs and bars soon.
  7. Not sure if anyone knows this or not,but found out yesterday that the Bed Bull X1 car is going to be at the launch of GT5 (when ever that is). I saw a piece of bodywork yesterday, enquired what it was,and was told that over the next few days the X1 is being built up,and will be at the launch as a static show car. Thought id share the info.
  8. As far as im aware its ok,but the driveshaft was ripped from the gearbox,so thats possibly a scrapper.
  9. Ah right, fair enough. Is the Thermo kit that much better than the standard spacer? Should i be concerned about this coolant seeping back into the plenum?
  10. No idea what the part was then? Looked like a valve of some kind.
  11. Iv watched the video for installation, and was wondering what the part is that they fit right at the end, where they are cutting a section of pipework out to fit it...
  12. Sorry my bad,Vet was on his first race of his 8th engine,so now thats no more, hes going to be using old engines for the last 2 races. As for the comment about F1 being boring,i think thats a load of rubbish. This year has been probably the most exciting year in recent times, with some cracking races, like Korea,Singapore,Monaco etc. If you understood the huge effort it takes just to get 2 cars on the grid, and all the engineering, precision, new ideas, different designs etc,you may feel differently. But thats up to the person who made the comment.
  13. Are you saying that because of the used engines issue, apart from the points lost? I seem to recall RB have got through their quota of unused engines, or is it just Mark and not Seb? Im worried about the points lost more than engines. Mark had his last engine in for this race,so its got to do 2 more qualy's and races. Seb was on his last race of that engine,he has his last fresh engine for Brazil. Good job really, not much left of the one he had in Korea! The points lost is a big blow for us,but its still possible to do it,and even now,we are still a nice way in front in the constructors, which to us,is the most important.
  14. Now why am i not surprised that you enjoyed that? lol Its not the end of the world,we can still do it,aslong as we get the constructors,i dont mind as much if we dont get the drivers. We get a nice bonus if we win the constructors.
  15. Well i couldnt watch it live, but saw the replay at 2pm,and wow what an exciting race! Really really bad from our point of view, shocking is actually more accurate, but still leaves things wide open for both championships. I cant believe that Vets engine gave up so close to the end of the race. What a blow up too,all bits and bobs leaving the car,not pleasant. Im looking forward to going to Brazil in a couple of weeks, but not as much as i would have been if we had got a good result at Korea. I know the teams found it difficult there, its a 5hour drive from the airport for a start, and the facilities were barely adequate, but hopefully next year most of the issues will be sorted.
  16. Sorry, wasnt the best description, but that is what im talking about, For some reason, grille didnt enter my vocabulary at that moment. Iv taken out the 3 pins at the top,but it seemed to be caught on something on the outboard area. I can wiggle it around, but it just dont want to come out. Any idea other than taking the front bumper off.
  17. Does anyone know how to remove the front bumper vent blanks? Iv seen the 3 fixings on the roof of the vent, but it seems to be stuck on something at the side. (Outboard) I think its pretty silly having them, and want to remove them to aid cooling of the brakes etc. Il get a pic up in abit.
  18. I worked as their composite inspector for 18 months, before going to Red Bull. I never worked behind the bar for the extra money,i just wanted to get out and meet some new people, earning £100 a week from it was a bonus! If i was in a position where i had a normal job with normal hours, and i was single,id probably go back there. Its a pain sometimes, but i really enjoyed it.
  19. Aslong as its not our suspension,as thats mainly what i check using ultrasonics,to makesure that it does not fail. We test it all up to a few tons of load before it goes on the car, along with the front wings. (throws hand grenade and runs)
  20. I was working at Prodrive in Milton Keynes, and wanted to meet some new people after my ex left me a year before ,and always wanted to work behind a bar. It was also 2minutes from where i was living,so was ideal. Was a great experience, and i loved it,though doing 10odd hours at work, then another 4odd at the pub did wear me out abit.
  21. On their way to a hen party no doubt Oh dear! lol Iv seen more Zeds on the A421 than anywhere else, going to or from Buckingham. I used to work at the Old Beam, before i worked at Red Bull, loved it,and still love going back there.
  22. Was in my old pub The Old Beams in Shenley Lodge MK,and on the way out saw a what looked like a GM 350,could have been a Blade,(i was abit drunk, tired and it was dark),not sure if it was anyone on here. I was not driving by the way.
  23. Totally stunning. Watching the GTR fire blue flames out the exhaust was amazing, getting close on 200mph on the public roads is abit silly though, especially with traffic etc. Fair play to both of them, would like to know how often they had to fill up with fuel filming that! The white GTR with carbon rear arch extensions and side skirts etc looks amazing, the best modified GTR iv seen.
  24. Looks and sounds fantastic, bet you are well pleased with it. It doesnt look OTT either, which is the way i like it. Top job
