  1. RedBull were fastest in the first session........(^^^^ ^^^^)
  2. That is the best looking 370z iv seen, not just the colour, but the way the kit works with the lines. Shame its so expensive
  3. Sorry, but so excited,im up to watch the first practice session at Albert Park. Its been too long. Come on Red Bull
  4. Be nice if you could spare that for a week or so,so i could take a mould from it,and make some pre preg carbon ones. Failing that,il just make a template and cut one out of flat stock. Thanks for the pics, they were very informative.
  5. Im from Grays, near Lakeside. My mum lives in Leigh-on-sea. Been to Canvey a few times. Got to be honest and say its not on my holiday wish list.
  6. Thats the sort of thing i was after, thanks chap. One question though, and no disrespect to the trader, but is all the weave straight? Working with carbon on a daily basis,i know what a good carbon part should look like. Have you got any close ups of your part fitted at all?
  7. Id say that your diagnosis is right, sounds to me like the anti squeel shims have just moved up abit. I cant imagine its anything to worry about,as its held in compression anyway, and has the pins through the top to hold it all roughly in place. I wouldnt worry, but if its bugging you,you could always take the pads out and replace, making sure the shims are unseen.
  8. Would the supplier of them customised ones be willing to get it anodised,or is that something we will need to organise ourselves?
  9. Where is the best place to get these rad cooling plates from? Seen some on ebay from far away lands, but wanted a UK seller really that is not mega expensive and good quality. Seen some that are just a flat panel, and some that have curves. If i could get one,i maybe able to make them for people out of proper carbon.

Has anyone had one appear at all?
  11. I had my first track day experience at the start of the year in my 350. Went to a MSV novice only day at Bedford. Fantastic day out,not cheap, but well worth it. I did a couple of laps after lunch, and turned the T/C off for the first time ever,as it was slowing me down. I ran DS2500 pads, and i think i just have normal fluid and discs. The brakes were fine all day,and when i took people out, they were all really impressed by the car as a whole, and how well it handled and braked. I worked out i did about 50 laps, and a tank of fuel. Just makesure your oil is up the mark, and all other fluids are ok. I never lowered my tyre pressures, but maybe should have done a few psi after a few laps. Overall fantastic day though, and well worth the expense. Not to mention i didnt get home from work till around 11pm Friday night, was up at 6am Saturday to get to Bedford, then on the way home had to go into work for a few hours. Was a crazy day,but so worth it.
  12. Spectrum elite sounds amazing, just what id want from an exhaust. Sounds really snarly at high rpm. Are they available in this country?
  13. No chap,i was worried when i picked the car up,but had no attention from the police at all. Iv even had a policeman ask me to move my car back so he could park, bonnet to bonnet style, and he didnt batter an eye lid. I need to get another one,as im hopefully getting a Nismo V2 (i know its been done, but love the looks) so want another one for that. Plus the current one has breaks in it over where the original fixing holes are.

Well i went to Tyres Northampton yesterday (where Evo magazine gets its cars sorted for tyres and geo) and what a difference its made to the feeling of the car. I was always impressed with the way the car handled, but its even better now! It cost me £100 but i think that its well worth it. Though a couple with a Q7 Audi disagreed when they were told that they would need to have it done for £120. They were spending £1000 there for tyres anyway, and the bloke was trying to haggle the price down to £100,before asking his wife, who said no its fine. This despite the technician saying that they will eat tyres quicker etc etc. When the technician left, they were saying how its aload of rubbish etc etc,and how if there is only a couple of places with the equipment, then it cant be that much of an issue!
  16. Hopefully,as the wheels sit so far into the arches,it wont have got onto the paint. While washing it,i didnt notice any deposites embedded into the paint,so fingers crossed i got away with that. When the wheels come off,il try to get the bits off. These are going to be winter wheels,so not the end of the world, but still not great.
  17. Right, last week my rear pads started to make grinding noises, guessing it was the wear indicator. So yesterday made a point of changing them. Decided to clean it all today,as it was look abit poo. One rear pad was particularly low,non existent actually, there was very little material left, this was the passenger side inboard pad. Today, thought one wheel was abit dirtier than the rest, only to discover after 2 washes with Bilberry,this... The rest of the car came up alot better, thankfully, and also managed to fit my bonnet lifters this morning,as i thought 7.30 am was abit early to fire up the pressure washer. Alot easier than i thought it would be,and gave me a chance to take the covers and shrouds off for the battery and brake fluid, and gave them a clean and protect aswell. As my new wheels are finally going on this week, hopefully,im not mega concerned about the really bad wheel. But can anyone help with how i get all of this baked on stuff off please.

  19. After fitting my Typhoon duct,my toe eye cover decided to do a runner. Please let me know if you have one.
  20. Maybe im being abit stupid, but when i click on the link to download the mix,it just plays it,and i dont see how i can download it. I have a Mac if that changes things.
  21. I think that you could repair that with some 3M 9323. We often get cracks in parts, and this stuff is awesome,we use it to bond the chassis together,so if its good enough for that, then im sure it could hold your spoiler together. I wouldnt use just body filler, that will crack and fall out pretty easily.
  22. AMAZING! wouldnt mind a small one for the garage.
