Just wanted to let people know that im now an official trader. Got no fancy sig or anything yet,but got a host of parts planned to be made from carbon fibre. I currently have the front lip cover,a thread for which can be found here viewtopic.php?f=26&t=47102,and next on the list is a rear strut cover,followed by dash interior parts. Has there been any progress on this at all?

My mum has a mk1 SLK 200K. Its a pretty tidy looking car,and starting to hold their value now. My mums husband had a 2002 clk 320 Avantgarde,and said that the build quality on the SLK was miles better than on his CLK. He now runs a cl500! lol My mum has never had anything go wrong except a cracked rear spring that appeared last week.

Is it wrong that i am excited about the beading on my freshly waxed patio table? I cleaned it at the weekend,and decided that a coat of Megs 16 was a good idea. It rained last night,and the beading is great!

Im looking at expanding my product range,and becoming an official trader. Iv just got an RSW carbon effect dash kit,and was wondering if there was a market to produce some or all the parts from it in real carbon fibre. Im also looking at doing rear strut cover and sill covers out of carbon. Its alot of work,and will take some time,which i dont mind doing if i get a few sales,but im very aware that RTbiscuit is selling wrapped parts,and dont want to go through all the hassle of making moulds for all these bits,for people to not want it,as they are happy with bits that are wrapped. Please discuss........

Does the oil of the K+N not bugger up your MAF sensor? I heard numerous problems,or is that over application of oil?

I had an issue with my wheels,not Volks,but used the grip handle end of my wheel brace to bash it out from the inside,while covering the outer face so that the cap dont fly onto the floor. Finger in each bolt hole helps.

That was too close for comfort! Certainly was a nail biter. Well done to Hamilton,i think he poses the biggest threat to us tomorrow. I think the fight will be close,especially as the Merc engine is still 30hp up on our engine,so them straights are going to be fun!
