    Relay issue?

    Anyone got any ideas?
  2. Well im back from Leman now, what an experience! (pictures to follow) As per my previous post,on the way there,i lost my cruise control, all my instruments on the dash, and the trip computer. I had the fuse blow (bottom row nearest the bulkhead) and that was replaced, but after an hour of driving, this blew again, and blew a few more instantly as soon as i turned on the car, cold and hot. My air con is also not working,no fan or anything. Does this sound like a relay problem,or something else?
  3. Well,I'm currently in a Novatel in France, and iv spent most of the weekend with no instruments. I discovered that just as I got on the train,it flew the fuse nearest the bulkhead at the bottom row. I replaced it,and it was fine until I stopped at a toll, and as I accelerated away, the fuse blew again. Iv replaced it several times, taken all the relays out,and replaced it hot and cold, and every time I replace it,it blows as soon as I put the ignition on. Iv even tried 20amp fuses instead of 10,and it makes no difference. Could it be a blown relay. Help please!
  4. It didnt occur under braking,it was cruising with the cruise control on. Il hopefully be giving her a good clean today after work (before packing for Leman ) so when im doing the wheels,il have a poke about and see if there is a loose connection to the sensors. The brake pads are fine, only replaced them all a few months ago. Il have a look at the fluid though.
  5. Was just driving to pick the girlfriend up,cruise control on,and all of a sudden the ESP OFF light came on,along with the lil sliding car,and the ABS light! I got to the destination and turned the car off and back on,and had nothing, and was fine on the way home. Should i be worried as i go to Leman on Thursday, any suggestions as to what it could be? ABS sensor?
  6. Im off there Thursday morning, staying at Houx Annex. Getting the train over. REally looking forward to it,though the mrs is insisting that we wont get everything in the boot of the 350z. Hope to see a few members there,or on the way.
  7. Great looking 370 you have, welcome to the forum
  8. Anyone know the best way to have the tow hook and keep the intake for the typhoon? My best suggestion is tacking on a piece of thread to the back of the toe hook for the typhoon duct to mount on. Potentially doing a track day at silverstone in a couple of weeks, and need to hook in place

    Scorpion

Iv recently fitted a Scorpion from Tarmac. Arrived super quick, and stupidly well wrapped. Inside the car,its only slightly bassier than standard, but giving it some sounds much better, and has a nice little burble on the over run. Cant wait to get to a long tunnel.
  10. Awesome customer service! I wonder if that was Gianna Michaels.......
  11. How the hell did you manage to post that under my name?^^^^^^^^

  13. Im yet to see it,but i know some of it was filmed in the hotel we were staying at in Thailand while we were there. Iv heard its pretty good film,so looking forward to seeing it.
  14. Colin you just need a lighter clipboard, maybe a carbon fibre one? I can make you one if you want, for a price...... From one of the RB's wings.................prefer off Marks car if poss given my Oz connections LOL,iv never seen one in the garage to be honest, everything is on computer now. I could make you one if you are serious.
  15. Had mine fitted at the weekend. Car seems to be abit more lively on the throttle now,and abit keener to rev.

  17. Looks pretty cool chap. Is it sitting ok at the rear,as it looks like its not touching the boot at the corners in the 2nd pic down. Though this is probably just the pic.
  18. I was allowed in the pitlane as i was working there chap. Being a street circuit, its pretty enclosed and tight. Alot of people were just watching it up on the hill,id imagine the view up there was mega. Its an amazing place to visit, and if you have a chance to go,dont hesitate,as you will not regret it. The noise and feel is stunning.
  19. I bet there wernt so many barriers back then either! There were loads of people going round the track, walking and driving. There was one bloke driving his Spyker C8 round for ages,he seemed to always be going round when he could. Fair play. Really was an amazing experience, and i know im very lucky to be able to go there, and go there with a team like Red Bull is just the icing on the cake. Nobody elses hospitality was anywhere near as good, and about half the size! They know how to look after people. The first night i was there,Thursday night,i went to the party at the energy station, and got home about 12.30am,totally smashed, and id been up since 3am to get ready to go out there. There were some long hours, but could have been alot worse if we had kissed the barriers or anything like that.
  20. I cant believe Hamiltons comments after the race, what an idiot. I wonder if he will see the interview today, and think,oh dear,i certainly hope so! As for the race,it was a great one,one of the best Monaco races i remember watching. Was a shame that the red flag came out at the end,as i agree that it was shaping up nicely, would have been great to watch. Even so,it was pretty gripping, and it was a shame that Schumacher didnt make it to the end,as i think he was up for it,as his pass on Hamilton proved. Just spoke to work, and the cars were meant to be back late last night, but are now not back till late tonight as everyone was partying last night! The next few races are going to be tough for us,as Canada is a power track,as is Spa and Monza, but i think Valencia should be ok for us,and we seem to do well at Silverstone and Hungary. Its certainly not going to be an easy ride for us,and McLaren and Ferrari wont be standing still.
  21. Well, what can i say. I flew out there on Thursday morning,i was up at 3am to makesure i had everything packed and had to be at the factory for 5am. Cant really explain how great this place is,it really is a different world. Il let the pictures do the talking. Me with Jason
  22. I will have a genuine carbon fibre one for sale very soon. Hopefully be finished in a few weeks
