Even better... will await their PM in which case and let you know buddy...
-
Thanks again Paul... Just sent them a PM again to see if they can ship the housing and the len's together for $125 shipping costs. Am I right in saying that with these two items my lights would look like the ones attached in the photo. Thanks by the way for the offer of fitting as well. I would deffo need to take you up on that so get thinking of a price. Well actually, better get this stuff first. See, you have got me all exited about lights again :-) lol All the best, Nathan...
-
Paul's do look really awesome and to be fair, the guy is a genius for being able to do it as I would not have a clue where to start. But you know when you get an image in your head of what you want something to look like... the CinCity ones just hit the mark for what I have in my head perfectly. Paul will no doubt be able to do it though (I have every faith) so just holding out for him really Then I can give him my old lights to experiment with and come up with new designs as they are no use to me really. Probably no use to him either with cracked lens's

Top man as always... thanks Paul... I am sooooooo desperate to get my headlights sorted at the minute. I am contemplating getting a cheap set off of eBay for now and seeing if the lens fits. Like you have said before, no guarantee it will though... If it doesn't I could always just lob the cheap ones in for now and have a play about with the Xenon's to see if I can repair the lens's at all with some sort of resin or clear filler? The thing is the lights I really want are the R8 style ones that CinCity do and they are the newer Xenon's. I'd much rather you did them though so looking forward to seeing your latest project If I could get Audi style daytime running lights (those really bright sparkly things) then I would literally be the happiest 350z owner ever I think ;-) lol
-
Thanks Paul I offered CinCity about £300 or $450 dollars, something like that for them. Despite a few messages back, didn't hear a thing as I think they wanted substantially more. Do you have the link to the eBay listing as I might attempt to buy yet again ;-) lol

I've got a pretty good idea what I would like it to look like, but am one of those people that likes to do decide on the fly, i.e make a mod, see if it looks right and move on to the next. At the minute I would like to perhaps start with the cheaper mod's, learn how to carry out each myself (as I have never done this sort of thing before) but managed to take the dash apart and my stereo out the other day which I was proud of myself for ;-) lol... (you don't know how much car technophobe I really am) :-) lol So little but effective mods would be a great start for me at the minute to try and find my mechanic feet I guess interior, exterior, whatever really...

Trust me Nathan these are the bee's knee's and ZMANALEX is the best bloke to get these from, totally transform the rear end at night/braking, I even changed them myself in 15 mins both side LOL Cheers buddy... I am most of the way convinced I need a pair and they sound a breeze to fit which is great. Shame they don't make headlights as cheap and easy to replace :-( Mine are cracked to bits and a grand a piece to replace...! Anyhow, I presume I might be able to get a few quid on eBay or something for my old non LED rear lights as well? They are in perfect nick and might fetch a few bob to put towards the new ones. Have you just kept hold of your old ones? Still only £240.00 delivered Nathan. Cheers, Alex. Thanks Alex... As above, pretty sure I want to get a pair. Just tying to figure how little the old ones would be worth and will get back to you asap... Regards Nathan

White 05 Plate JDM Cribbs Causeway Bristol...

Well all I know is that I want my 350z to look like it :-) lol -
I could have a set of internals available from my 2003 350z Xenon's... I have the complete opposite problem in that the external plastic lens of my lights are cracking, but all the internal bits are 100% perfect. I am in constant contact with Paul RE getting some after market ones, so might be looking at flogging the internal's unless I can find some clear lens's for the lights at a reasonable price. No idea what they would be worth or what you'd be willing to pay though? Regards, Nathan...

Well guys, I am a relative tuning / modding novice in that I have always just kept cars stock. Seem to have caught the bug from you guys on the forum and can't stop trying to think of ways to make my 350z look better and more personal to me. I have attached a pic of the car from the advertiser I bought it from. Haven't taken one myself yet as the memory card in my camera is on the blink. Anyway, I have addressed a new stereo straight away as the original was knackered, so my interior mod's are ok for the immediate time, (however I could be tempted by suggestions) however the things I like the look of on the exterior are as follows: Smoked or unsmoked LED Rear Lights Bright orange front bumper reflectors Making the other corner lights and rear things look more modern Putting a front lip under the front spoiler (like some guys here have done) Need new headlights as mine are cracked :-( Removal of rear wiper? Poss change of alloys to 19"? Or does it effect ride too much? Lowering the car (although no idea where to start) And basically any other things I can do that make subtle differences. Although I like the idea of modding, I am looking at spending money but not going too radical on the looks, more tweeking the styling so it still sort of looks original / stock if that makes sense??? :-) lol Would hugely appreciate any advice and perhaps links / pics supporting any suggestion as I really don't know much about wheel spacers, clear rear corner lens's etc etc. I am willing and looking to learn though so I can talk sense to you all one day...

Im new to the forum and have yet to attend a meet but having nearly lost my Dad to a serious heart attack earlier this year, I just wanted to offer sympathies to both you and your family... Where there is hope (no matter how little and hard to see), there is always a chance and we were given less than optimistic odds for my father but he pulled through. I sincerely hope its the case for you all... How very sad to hear...

I'm considering a set for Christmas... Whats the latest price on these please? Thanks, Nathan

About Midday today (Sunday 07th Dec)... White and with quite fantastic wheels on it (looked like 19" I think). Very very VERY nicely kitted out Z. Hope to have mine looking that posh one day as well... Its too nice for it not to be an enthusiast on this forum

Im there thinking... Dad... is that you lol Cheers for the link buddy. Bit of a bummer in that about 2 hours ago I bit the bullet and ordered the PAC thingy from eBay for about £55. Thanks for the effort with the link however... I appreciate all the help and support with my enquiry thus far...! I just thought having taken your advice, there isn't much point in cutting corners and long story short, I was going to buy the Pioneer FH-P80BT for £220 and ended up getting it for £130 brand new, so what I saved has gone on the relevant connectors and PAC ROEM NIS2 (which should actually be a character on Star Wars with a name like that). I should in theory receive everything by the weekend hopefully. Just now got to figure out what to do with the PAC ROEM. I have taken the dash apart already when taking the old unit out so know how to do all that. Just not that great a wiring stuff but have to give it a go as I need to start somewhere with all this modding my car stuff...!

Cheers Ian... appreciate it. Make sure you wrap up warm I've got football training in this later as well... not good :-(

We'll your prob right about DIY in the cold weather... blummin aweful when your hands start cracking in the cold For now in which case I will go the route you have advised and thanks for taking the time out to help Well I have ordered the Nissan Micra lead, stereo is en route from a family member (with cage). So I guess all I need is the PAC thingy. I have looked on Ebay and the cheapest I can find is £55 odd. Is there an alternative place to buy or is Ebay pretty much the only place? Thanks again, Nathan...

Sure I could cover postage and a beer or two... Thanks for the offer buddy...
-
Be interested to see how that turns out as I have contemplated doing some sort of daytime running light conversion there but uncertain how it will look... Probably crap if I do it as I'm not the strongest with DIY projects :-) lol

Brill... thanks guys... I guess its horses for courses but I really love the bright orange ones. Mr Lizzard... I am planning on coming to a few meets in the future, but I don't think there is anything in the immediate future that close to me... Id be willing to pay a good few spondoolies for them and the postage. Your quite welcome to the smoked ones as well (unless you already have a pair)? Also, anyone interested in a swap, let me know... Many thanks, Nathan...

If only I thought I could get a decent price for mine... I'd snap this up in a second... White with red leather.... im in heaven ;-) lol -
Got a JDM car with the front smoked vertical reflectors (so the sort of orange ones). But I really really like the brighter orange ones and wondered a) how easy they are to replace and where I can get some at a reasonable price. Tried doing a search and read through a fair few posts but couldn't turn anything up. Any advice would be great... Thanks guys... Nathan...

Thanks guys... Adam, am I right in saying that not only will I need the PAC in which case, I will also need one of these Click Here Also, as I am yet to hear what the standard speakers even sound like (as my Stereo has not worked since purchase). Would you recommend keeping things stock and just getting the PAC unit or are there any after market amps that couple be worth a look at for similar money but would that then mean having to change the speakers? Sorry to ask so many questions but I just want to be certain I have already ordered one of those Micra looms just in case anyway for £4... Prob wont need it now Also another very kind forum member said that he had installed an aftermarket Hi-Fi without the PAC, but you just have to be careful about the volume as the Bose amp ramps things up. Would this be a viable short cut as funds at the mo are tight and those PAC units look as though they are £50+? Again, any advice would be greatly appreciated. Kind regards, Nathan...

Hi people... Well to cut a long story short, I have been the benefactor of a very very cheap Pioneer FH-P80BT Car Stereo as my JDM Bose unit packed up the other week. I have been reading the literature on Pioneers website about this unit at it states that it has 3 RCA Pre Outs to use with Amps, Sub's etc etc. Being a relative novice with car stereo's, I was wondering if this would mean not having to spend out on a PAC ROEM NIS2? Also, presumably I will still need the Nissan Micra converter lead so that I can plug the Pioneer in to the car? I have attached a link to the exact stereo below and also a photo of the back of the unit. Any help would be massively appreciated as I literally have no idea what to do but am trying my hardest to learn Many thanks, Nathan... http://www.pioneer.co.uk/uk/products/25 ... index.html

Cheers matey... not so sure the girlfriend will be so happy about her shopping budget now being slashed. To be fair... if she left me... i'd still have my Z lol Its just a confusing time currently knowing what to do in such a volatile climate. With things so uncertain, I'm sure you will get a great deal on a Z at the moment Neil. Problem is selling a car you already have as nothing is shifting (so your on the right lines with a P/X), seems to be the way forward at the minute with not even dealers buying cars back. We are trying to sell my partners Peugeot 107. Got it for £1000 less than any other on eBay, its newer and has less miles than anything else. Not a bean... no interest at all apart from those blummin telesales people wanting to take money from you and pretend to sell it. If I were to come across somebody interested in your car Neil, what sort of price would you be looking at? I say this as my Mum is soon to start looking and she likes her Brothers Astra SXi. Thanks again Jay being my conscious for a moment ;-) lol
-
Thanks Neil... appreciate it and no offence implied with the Astra. No doubt its a good, solid everyday car that in fairness looks better than most family cars such as the Focus, Golf etc etc. However, trust me... when you get the Z there is no looking back its that good, so best of luck in your search. If I come up with anything on my travels (i.e anything suitable) I will send you a PM... Im currently looking for a car for the missus, so fairly active on the car sites at the moment. To be brutally honest, about a minute after posting the pic of my car and reading Jay's post I was thinking "what have I done". I have just been floating this idea of getting a Diesel for the new enterprise but im now 100% certain the right thing to do is bite the bullet and keep on with the Z no matter what. Money or no money, its a special car...
