  2. just gave the exhaust a spit and clean, looks a bit better apart from the bloody tips, its booked in wednesday to have them sorted, plus while i was at it, gave it a quick bumper tuck before: after:
  3. I have a couple of guys interested in a swap at the moment, so if these don't go through I'll consider selling one of them

  5. its fine, did have to tighten the bolts up further than i thought, it was leaking from there when i first put it on, but with a bit of time tightening little by little, its fine
  6. the tips are exactly the same as whats on now but round although im thinking custom tips may be the way forward, think i prefer the rolled tips.. ill clean it up after work tommorrow ready for lincoln on sat, ill put up new pics as well

  10. Now then, I have a kinetix plenum that I want to swap to a spacer, only reason being that I have a polished plenum that I'd like to use, No cracks in the plenum, got all fixings and instructions.

  15. im thinking it will need wire wool, and autosol, and probably a few hours as for the tips, ill either re shape them with a template or get my spare tips welded on

  17. i have the problem of when i want something, i get it think it took 3 hours to knowing it was available to having it fitted.. definetly a quick fit
  18. i agree, i can see petrol consumption becoming more of a problem
  19. just got back from having it fitted, sounds DEEP and loud, a really nice tone, so im happy, got back the power i lost from the old de-silenced exhaust i had so feel alot better and smoother to drive, it needs a bit of sorting, like the angle of the pipes and need to sort out the end pipes, which i will get done asap.... and of course a clean and a bumper tuck which ill do on friday so piccies... sound clips to come
  20. yeah it had been in a rear end crash, but only a small one, the Cans army particularly round but he has given me 2 new cans to get fitted, I'm currently at bush watching it get fitted, there not meant to do it but I offered beer and cash
  21. i just have the standard exhaust at the moment, with it de-silencered, which im sure lost a fair bit of power so i was going to replace it anyway, the guy said he didnt notice any power lose so it cant be any worse than i have now, ive just bargained him down to 180 so im off to pick it up now pics to come...................
