TVR Cerbera's are great while everything is working ok. Lost count of the number of engine rebuilds we have done now on the 4.2 and 4.5 V8's. You always see one broken down somewhere on the way to or from Lemans every year

I don't think the failure is in any way related to the way you have been using your gearbox. It is just pot luck that you have a gearbox with a defective part I'm afraid. I hope they give you a decent courtesy car

Surely it wouldn't come through on text. Debt collection agencies put everything in writing and call you to chase the debt usually I thought. Keep your £1.60 Rich

Stay away from LPG on 350z's is my advice.

I have only heard of a few synchro issues and they are not too wide spread because of limited mileage. I have never had issues with any of the 370z's I've driven but I was told that Nissan knew there was a weak synchro issue with the boxes way back in late 2009 and I have shelved a spare box for my car just in case. Keep us updated

If it's a warranty claim it would usually get a new box anyway and not a rebuild from our dealings with local Nissan dealers. Hope it gets sorted soon

Dealers will want to drop a new box in it. Either use a specialist to get it inspected and rebuit or get a good 2nd hand unit
