yeah you guys are right, more to consider than i thought really, to me they just looked like a round piece of metal with a few holes in
-
i have a deposit on an azure 56 plate 2007 registered (so still under warranty) gt spec but without the sat nav which will cost me 14k if i choose to purchase it, if you have the 313 engine then it sounds like you got a good deal.

my quote with admiral is around £1200 thats with 3yrs NCB, 3 years driving, 3 points for speeding and with my Dad named on the polciy

does a mod like this void any warranty and would it have to be declared on insurance? thought id do a quick mock up to show the difference it could make if anyone else was thinking of getting some Before After
-
or get my dad the engineer to do them? From what ive seen they are just a round piece of metal with a few holes in sitting between the wheel and the car. My dad has access to lots of different steels and other metals which could be used and the lathes to make them. Would they actually be that difficult to make? or is there something more complicated about them that i cant see from photos? just wondering

Anish did the HPI check for me, so thanks to him for that. All was ok, no outstanding finance and wasn't a stolen car

is there any real difference between the two listed on JDM performance other than the massive price difference? http://www.jdmperformance.co.uk/item_de ... odID=58667 http://www.jdmperformance.co.uk/item_de ... rodID=3958

what are the chances of getting an extended warranty and new rear tyres even though i have put a deposit down on the car? I told the dealer i'd want to pick the car up at the start of April could i suggest picking it up end of March to increase of my chances of getting the extras do you think? Also one of the other dealers is still phoning me offering all sorts even though he knows i've put a deposit down on this GT blue one, could i use the knowledge of this too? Or i am i too late to negotiate these extras now

im guessing the brake pads arent too expensive to replace? what about the brakes themselves, done they cost a fortune? but the clutch going sounds like a costly job, would that be right?
-
hi guys, put a deposit down on a 56 2007 registered 350, which is still under manufacturer warranty just wondering what isnt covered by this that could go wrong and are these things that arent covered likely to be expensive if they break? just want the peace of mind knowing that if anything expensive breaks it'll be covered, .
-
well im happy with the price i could go even further and say that in 6months the car will be 13k, in 12months it'll be 12k etc, if i thought like that though i'd never own a 350z

spoke with a couple of dealers today, told one i had seen another similar specd car to his for £14k and asked him to match this price, at first he refused and said i should go for the other 14k car but as soon as i said ok ill look into that one he decided he could do something for me. Phoned me back a few hours later and agreed to match the price so i have put a deposit down on an azure blue, 56 plate, 2007 registered, gt spec, still with Nissan Warranty till Jan 2010, 31k miles, 1 owner, full Nissan service history for 14k, he listed it at 15k. I would like to think i could have perhaps got an extended warranty but didnt get chance to throw that at him before we agreed, if i see anything wrong with the car when i go to view in early April then ill bring this up. The other 14k 56 plate wouldnt budge at all on the price, but sounded willing to throw in 6months tax and 6months extended warranty

Although that’s a 56 plate, it’s worth noting that it’s the Mk1 Zed… really? how can you tell? It has the rays alloys which i guess the car could have bought, can you tell from the distant interior shot he has taken from the boot? or is there something im missing?
-
Didnt get chance to phone the one dealer today but got in touch with another, he has a 56 plate with a few months of warranty left, GT spec even though he didn't realize and i had to tell him , listed at £14,000 and he really wouldnt budge on the price, hes actually selling it on behalf of someone else and has been told if he doesnt get the 14k then the person will just keep the car, didnt mind throwing in 6months tax though. Going to ring the dealer with the car i do want tomorrow and offer 14k, 1k cheaper than he's listed the car at, same 56 plate, see what happens with that. I've also just seen a 56 plate on piston heads from a private seller http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/933883.htm emailed the guy and it is GT spec, would probably offer him 13k for that simply because there's so much more risk for me or anyone buying private. So would you guys rather have a 14k dealer car or a 13k private car? assuming there exactly the same spec and everything.

anyone got any before and after shots of this mod?
-
dont know if the what car valuations are accurate but ill post them anyway 06 with 30k miles: Dealer £14,920 Private £13,595 Part exchange £12,745 Trade £12,245 Cost new £28,845 56 with 30k miles Dealer £15,355 Private £14,065 Part exchange £13,245 Trade £12,745 Cost new £28,995 i think there both overvalued
-
in exactly the same situation as you, looking for 56 plates as well, emailed one dealer saying i thought his car was overpriced considering the market and that im on auto trader, piston heads every day and i see cheaper similar spec cars and when he rang me i had a 5min rant from him about he knows the market better than me, better than people on forums etc, never rang him back. Thinking of doing the same as you, i've got one dealer to knock some money off a car but i still dont think its enough, going to ring today and say if he sells to me for 13.5k then hes got a deal, if he doesnt then ill keep looking
-
he's upped how much he'd part exchange my car for on the first one, so i'd be getting about £750 off that list price, its also still under nissan warranty till january 2010 which i quite like I imagine i could get the second one for about 11k, did you get your 9.5k one from a dealer? did it have more miles? that sounds an awesome price

or this one http://www.holdcroft.com/used-car/nissa ... r/17014945 these are the two cars im umming and arring over at the moment

http://www.bensoncars.co.uk/vehicle-det ... &Specials= Still trying to decide on a 350 to purchase, like the look of this one, what are people's thoughts on it? I've been in touch with the dealer so i know what issues there are and what price i will likely get it for. Has anyone else looking at 350's been to visit this one? Anyone test drove it etc? I live close to 3 hours away so it difficult for me to check out the quality of the vehicle, im basically trusting the dealer that the car will be in good nick if i decided to go up there and buy it.
