    .

Did you buy then Jerry? If you did congrats, i was really tempted but ive spent too much recently on the car
  3. Sorry guys, not a fan of the sprayed lights, but each to their own
  4. Indeed i only use VPower 99 myself.
  5. I would get a garage to do it, for the few quid it costs, it saves you a LOT of messing about.
  6. Yeah i know what your saying, initally there was some, but not for long in my case. Traffic for about 20 mins getting in, but after that was home free for the rest of the night. Think you need to follow someone that knows where they are going to get the best of it.
  7. Shortish notice i know, but im hopeful a few of you guys will be up for this, as a few of us went last time and it was a brilliant evening. Back again this year for the 2nd time, we present another London Tunnel Run, hosted by MissBanzai.com inviting all Japanese car owners! The run will kick off at Essex Arena (RM19 1AE) on Saturday 10th October from 9.30pm. Maps will be handed out on arrival to those who have pre-paid through the Just Giving site. Please register your attendance by visting http://www.justgiving.com/MissBanzai2009Take2 and donating your £5.00 entry fee. Donations made via the Just Giving site will go direct to the nominated charity, Bowel Cancer UK. Please remember to tick all the boxes to add 'gift aid' onto your donation -it won't cost you any extra, but the charity will be able to re-claim the tax on your donation! Please remember when registering via the Just Giving site, on the final payment page, you will be asked for comments and nickname. In comments please put your club name, in nick name your forum user name -nothing else! (this list will be used to hand out the route maps of the run on the night. You can pay cash on the night -however, as there will be a limited number of route maps -if you want to be guaranteed a map, we advise you pay in advance through the Just Giving site. Please remember, advance payments can only be taken up to 12:00 on 10th October on the Just Giving site -after this time you will need to pay cash on the night. Note that in addition to the £5 per car, there will be a £1 per person entry fee into the arena on the night, to cover costs. Please bring the correct cash as change cannot be given! Any questions, please drop a mail to missbanzai@googlemail.com or we will drop by here to answer any questions anyone might have! Remember this event is for *Japanese Cars Only* we will have marshalls on the gate at the arena to monitor this! Please remember to drive responsibly -anyone not doing so will be asked to leave the site. Sky Insurance will be down for the evening to hand out a prize for the best car of the evening! Anyone interested let me know, get your name down here and ill sort out a convoy there/ meeting up before hand. Adrian
  8. I might come along if some other southerners make the trip, be good to see some of the old faces again.
  9. Indeed some of my stuff was delayed due to the post strike aswell, it could just be caught up with that. Can't help with contacting them though, if its worrying you enough call them.
  10. Tanabe Super Medallion Hyper - http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/CTGY/350z10d Works out around £700, some Uk shops can supply these....
  11. I'm looking forward to pics/prices for the front one will end up a lot cheaper than trying to smooth it.
  12. That does look good, you went for the Orange ones mate?
  13. The Ings one does look good, is it 350Z specific? If it is then its probably worth the extra as you will know it will fit spot on.
  14. What about Tanabe? They do some 'touring' exhausts that loook great and are not overly loud. BUT i do have to say, Nismo sound is amazing, i sometimes regret selling mine. Nismo and hi-flow cats is the way forward. Adrian
  15. I have the long ones also, they are very good, i personally wouldnt get the short ones again. As alex has said having the long nut makes it much easier to get the nut started without scratching inside the holes, and they look 100x better IMO.
  16. The weave as far as im aware holds the pipe together. It gives structural rigidity, whilst allowing the pipe to bend. My Nismo weave was worn through, and it started to blow at the joint shortly after. i'd get it looked at before you fit it.
  17. Possibly mate yeah, it just has some degree of adjust built in at least. A Do-luck or Power enterprise one made for a Z be best but they are £1000 odd http://intensepower.com/powencarfibw.html Thats the one i'd buy if i was buying one.
  18. I'll add a +1 there Rik sent out my brace very quickly, muchly impressed.
  19. What colour did you go for woody? These i like, i think ill order some when the front one is done aswell. Is there any idea on a time frame for the front aswell?
  20. When you look at the pics of the buddy clubs, the 'feet' on the legs are on pins and can change angle to match a curved surface. On the Megan pics the feet look solid, i.e. designed to be mountd to a flat surface, which the back of the Z is not. I'd want to look at a megan one before buying it.
  21. I agree with the Dixcel comments. I have the DAV, FCR Carbon discs and matching pads. They are designed for track use and come with a no fade on track guarentee. I have been realy impressed with mine, give them a try Greekman
  22. As said 20mm front, 25mm rear is IMO ideal. Bearing wear is a moot issue as i told you jerry. Spacers may increase the wear on bearings, but 350z's are not known for their poor bearings. Many people on the forum run 20mm spacers for extended periods with no bearing woes. MAN UP and get 20/25
  23. As you know jerry i had the ESMM's and a torque damper aswell But the 350z engine is mounted differently, and tbh it wont make as dramatic a difference or be as much of a benefit on our cars.
  24. Indeed, i have manifolds to go on aswell, and i may fit solid mounts. But on our cars the engines merely 'rock' not pull/push the exhaust, so flexis arent really neeeded if the exhaust is well built
  25. They probably will, Flexis are the weak point in any exhaust. My old Nismo went at the flexis. My buddy club will last forever tho and thats one of the reasons i went for it. It doesnt have any flexis in the y-pipe so nothing to rot. Top quality welds to, i am very confident it will still be all shiny in 5 years time
