Thanks mike, does anyone on here have them fitted, wondered what the rear ones look like from behind? Thinking could be a cheap way to improve the looks whilst saving for nismo kit.

well im surprised how good the economy is, i have had between 27.2 and 27.7 on my first 3 tanks. I tried a slow economy drive home one day and managed a clear 33.9mpg, including some round town driving at the end, very good i thought!

This is proving to be a much more difficult decision than i had expected. Been reading up aroiund the internet and it seems the DBA 4000 series rotors are prone to cracking across the small slots, as they go right to the edge? Apparently they have been revised now with a new slot design to stop this, which ones do you have phil? Also cant believe how little choice there is, i was expecting to have loads of different types of discs available, without needing to pay for 2 piece ones!

Just had a P1 service done (at a specialist i trust not nissan) and have been told both the disc and pads at the front end are tired and need replacing. I was hoping to change the stock setup for something a bit better, but not spend the earth, however it doesnt seem like there are many options!!!? Only 'normal' replacement discs i can find are the EBC ones, and im really not a fan of EBC stuff, and although i like the look for the PF ones, £600 is a bit too much to spend on discs for me. Are there any other oprions people might have that i am missing?? Oh BTW car is UK spec with brembos if that makes a difference. Thanks

Ersen doesnt have the 5Zigen anymore... but im keeping my Nismo aswell, only going to use the 5Zigen in summer months

Have had the door card off, tightened everything, no difference. It seems to be the shield around the lock mechanism causing the noise. Asked at nissan they said need to take window out, and remove that black plate to get a better look and see, minimum £100 Can't really attempt it myself, dont want to get stuck with no window, so looks like im stuckj with a rattle for now :-(

So far, the amount of fuel you can put in, damn dodgy dipstick and the DAMN rattle in the drivers door!!!! lol Other than that its great.

i used to use the silkolene pro S from oilman on my old Integra, but the guy i get my servicing done with uses castrol edge 10-60 in everything, as its what his race cars run. Should i avoid that oilin the 350, or would it be ok still? I'm going to have a look round locally and see what i can find in 5-30, but most are in 4l tubs so going to have to get a 4ltr and a 1ltr :-(

Sorry to post this its probably been asked before, but im getting the oil / filter done, what oil do people use in their cars? I need to buy the oil tommorow, so is nissan best bet or any other places i can buy it? How much does it use 5 litres enough? Thanks in advance Adrian

05 plate in the dreaded orange lol, exactly what i wanted, has a nismo intake of some kind and nismo exhaust too :-) As soon as i drove it i knew it had to be mine, had a DC5 Honda Integra Type-R and a John Cooper Works Mini Cooper S before, this is very different, all the low down pull. Just wondered if anyone else has this, happens when you shut the door, and when playing music (even at low volumes!) like a metal touching metal rattle, quite loud inside the door. Before i take the door card off and find i need parts or something, wondered if anyone else has had this and what it could be? Tips/advice! thanks

I had eibach springs on my last car, were great, id be tempted on them for the Z aswell. Has anyone got the eibach coilivers fitted, they are quite reasonably priced for a coilover kit (£750 ish) and should combine comfort with handling.

Hi guys, I have done a fair bit of Car Audio installation in the past, and used to make my own wooden/fibreglass builds, but am getting a bit lazy in my old age! I have some kit to put in my new 350Z, it has the STANDARD stereo atm, and i will be changing everything, have a new HU, 2 amps, 4 speakers and a sub to go in. Basically i was looking at fitting advice (and i dont want to bodge the 350) for the speakers and it seems that i will need some spacers for the front doors, and possibly the rear speakers aswell? I saw these on ebay from USA, what have you guys used in your cars? I have fairly deep speakers to go in, so they may well foul on the window without adaptors?? Any help much appreciated Adrian

I have seen pictures on here of a few cars with small white/red nismo stickers on the boot lid, and as my car has a nismo exhaust and intake, i was hoping to get one aswell. Just wondering really where you get them from and how much it was, many thanks Adrian
