  1. Welcome to the forum mate, how wierd that we were mates all those years ago! Hope to see the car on saturday more than just a flash as you go past!
  2. I am well tempted, but the Nismo helps in that respect, the sound from that is none to shabby as it is. I am thinking i will need sports CAT's to go with the 5Zigen tho, i want it LOUD.
  3. ok a few of us will be there on the day, pturbo is coming down with me aswell. If anyone else fancies it let me know / whack a post in here, aiming for a meet up at around 10am.
  4. As i say im sure he'd be up for something like that, can discuss with him when you lot come down! If you all can get down fairly early, will leave you plenty of time afterwards if you want to do your bits yourself...
  5. All this talk of exhausts and 5Zigen is getting me excited about having mine fitted, hurry up Spring! I LOVE it, but am not putting it on till they stop gritting!
  6. Right spoken to tom he has a LOT of work on sat he has fitted me in as an extra favour (i didnt know this till i spoke to him!) He is happy for you guys to pop down and have a chat with him, and he said he'd be happy to sort out some club prices for you if you did so. Let me know if you plan to be down, be good to see as many of you as can make it. More of you turn up the more interested im sure he will be on doing a club deal. I'm fairly sure we could get the garagefor the day on a weekend if a few wanted work doing at the same time. Adrian
  7. OK, so you guys would both like brake lines fitted on Sat? I will ask, as martin_W would like them to fit a short shifter aswell, i dont know how much they will be able to do! I'll give them a call and let you know.
  8. Is that what you are having done next week? We are near Fleet, be interested to know how you get on. No not having the exhaust done until they stop gritting, its so shiny! If your interested in hearing a few exhausts, pop along to one of our local meets, might helkp you to decide.
  9. i might pop up to this one, got some friends in bath could combine the trip with seeing them.
  10. OK well IMO then, i have a Nismo currently, easy exhaust to live with daily, but not loud enough, i have a 5Zigen Miracle Fireball to go on which will be a fair bit louder and more to my taste hopefully.
  11. Depends on what we do about over night stays that sort of thing, I'd imagine a minimum of £300 tho.
  12. Well as Chris mentioned it i thought i'd post this up for you local guys down south! I am having some bits fitted there next sat 17/01/09 in the morning, if any of you guys fancy popping along while i am there, i can introduce you to Tom and you can have a look at them in action on my car. Thought you might find it useful if you are wondering about who to use/ trust for servicing/mods down south. TGM are based in Fleet, at sankey lane. Address details as follows: TGM Sport 44, Sankey Lane, Cove Rd, Fleet, Hampshire GU51 2RS Tel: 01252 811972 If any of you lot fancy it, let me know and ill give tom a buzz so he can expect a few of us along. Im sure there will be a cuppa available to those who want to pop down!
  13. Depends entirely on what you want! How loud do you want it to be, and what style? You can get aftermarket exhausts that have a big centre silencer like the std one, or jap style exhausts wityh seperate silencers each side, and even some with only a single silencer on one side. You need to decide on these basic questions before you can decide which you want!
  14. Thanks Digsy, those wheels look great IMO, and i really like the CF look on sunsets, am looking forward to getting my first bits fitted now!
  15. Who's car is this on the forum? Looks good, are there any more pics of it about?
  16. Oh guys, who's car is this on the forum? Any other pics of it?
  17. Just an interest seeker really, would anyone be up for a convoy drive to the Nurburgring in the summer and a day on the track? Have seen similar done on other forums, taking in some sights on the trip, making a few days of it. Just a post to see if there would be any interest in this sort of thing!
  18. Join the club, well depressing lol, not been out much recently! Need to do something really exciting i feel!
  19. Indeed its VERY Raspy, but thats due to the unsilenced midpipe.
  20. How comes you used silver screws, and not just bond it on, would of looked better bonded IMO. As to the scratch, theres a guide on here somewhere to filling scratchs like this using a touch up stick from the dealer and some sandpaper. This could help it look a lot better at least!
  21. Most supermarkets are cutting back on staff atm aswell mate, you be lucky to be able to pick up a job there even now!
  22. I like the look of these, next time i've got £70 burning a hole in my pocket ill get one!
  23. I am getting excited about the wales run already, how sad! What hotel are we sorting staying in, would be good to get it sorted early to try and get us all in!
  24. Id bond it on as said, something like Tigerseal or Stikaflex will hold it on a treat.
